My father had admitted for gallbladder stone surgery. Previously we had visited near by another hospital, where people scared us without proper information. But, here Gastroenterologist Dr. Shridar Pandit a great man, he explained things clearly and in such a manner my father was feeling confident. Treatment and care is good.

My heartfelt gratitude to all the nurses and ward anna who has taken care of my father and especially ward Annas who didn't get irritated even after calling multiple times.
My father was in ICU under observation for one day after surgery. Once he was brought to ward, every now and then nurses, ICU doctors, duty doctors, physicians, nutritionist used to come and check my father's health.

Service of the hospital was really good. Dr. Sowbhagya, gynaecologist is very good.
Recently I got delivered and discharged from the hospital.
Hygiene was well maintained which is really important for patients.
The workers don't hesitate to help us at any time.
Doctors used to visit the respective patients frequently and guide us properly. Food was also nice. Finally I would like to recommend Manipol hospital, Malleshwaram to the needy people.

My husband was in semi unconsious state. Emergency doctor is so quick in diagnosing the disease and more over he started the treatment immediately without wasting the time.
After shifting to ICU I was getting constant updates from the Doctor in the CT scan. He was in an unconsious ness and regained conscious after 2 days. He was treated by Dr. Shobha. Being a lady doctor she is so competent and bring his life back. She is so calm, took step by step and he could come out to ward. Nursing staffs in ICU are good.
In the ward nursing Shantini, Kavitha, Povanma, steffy and all the staffs assigned to the ward were very capable.
Cleaning staff Sarojamma, venkatesh did a good job.
Mean while celebrated my husband birthday and thanks for the celebration

Indrani madam was contacting every now and then to enquire the comfortness of the patient and the attendar.
Insurance Kavitha was giving me all the guidance in the Insurance coverage.

Fond fare well was also given by Indrani and team.
Highly appreciable and friendly environment.

My uncle was admitted for Total knee replacement under Dr. MK Rao. Doctor has a team of experienced staff including Dr. Hari Babu who takes care rest of the followup after the surgery and a well trained staff nurses like Kavitha, Sujatha and a friendly house keeping.

I had accompanied with my friend, it is a junk hospital with loaded junior doctors, and never take them to Malleswaram Manipal hospital during emergency. They almost killed a patient, even normal emergency care is treated as serious and unnecessary tests, scans done again and again, beware

My son came in an emergency on 23rd with high fever. Dr. Akhil took is so competent and attended immediately. I was just seeing He has handled all emergency cases so quickly. Hats off to him for attending all cases.
Later admitted under Dr. Basavaraj Kuntoji general physician diagnosed and treated well. Nurses, Shruthi, Kavitha took care very well.
House keeping Venkatesh took care of my son very well like a brother

We had a bad experience on weekend visit, doctors were not available only junior doctors were seen, definitely not a recommended hospital for emergency. They keep doing tests and reports are so delayed that impacted the treatments. I don’t recommend this hospital

Dr Muralidhar did ACL procedure to me, which happened to be very smooth. Dr. Hari Babu is such a patience that He tought us all the exercises.
Nursing are all good, even in day care when rooms are not availble they took care very well

I'm an international patient. Consulted Doctor Harish in manipal hospital malleshwarm. He is a great doctor, speaks so nicely and explains everything very simply where each one can understand well. Furthermore, Technician Geeta in the endoscopy department has helped me through out the procedure. She has explained the procedure well and also helped with the billing procedures even though its not part pf her job. Im very thankful to her and the doctor.

My wife came to emergency In unconscious stage and Shifted to ICU to diagnose. Dr Shobha N neuorologist diagnosed and gave an excellent treatment. When she was in ICU we are getting continuous updates and nurses (Pavithra) are very friendly. After shifting to ward also nurses (Sahaya, Bharathi, Chandravathi, Swetha, Cibi) and housekeeping (Usha) are very friendly. Thank you Manipal hospitals

EDIT: Finally got my wrist surgery done. After initial hiccups with delays in getting a bed, the management rectified and smoothed out the process for me. Hence updating my rating. Once I got admitted, all medical staff were very friendly and helpful. Surgery was totally painless and everyone made me feel comfortable both pre and post surgery. Dr. Bharath Kadadi is very good and would recommend anyone requiring hand surgery. This is the second surgery we got done with him after my wife also got operated around 3 years back.

Orignal post: Doctors are good but administration is really bad. Waiting here since 5 hrs for a pre-planned surgery and being told there are no beds.

Today is my day 2. Never thought a brand like Manipal Hospital has such terrible staff in admin.
First they admit alcoholic patients who make life hell for other patients. Despite high fever I couldn't sleep due to very loud banter.
When I objected to having such a patient around they said we do not have seperate facility for alocholics. Is it our problem?
Finally when I threatened to go on social media, they allocated another room to me which had equally loud though non alocholic patient.
Highly disappointed.

83 year old elderly couple were admitted, one by one for Covid and successfully discharged under the treatment and guidance of Dr Basavaraj. The Drs’ and the staff were very accommodative and helpful. Special mention about the MOD Ms Indrani and the Duty Doctors who went out of the way to make the patient, next of kin as well as the attender to be at ease and to help in the recuperation process. Hats off to Manipal North Hospital. Keep up the good work.

I underwent lscs under dr. Nandini devi i had a bad history of endometriasis under dr. Nandini with ivf conception i hd pregnancy 35 weeks i had utrine contraction i went hospital immediately mam took for lscs but full of adhesion i had a bladder injury and my uterus was ruptured immediately dr called dr. Anand he came within 15 min and did bladder repair my baby also fine am very greatful dr naadini devi, dr anand, dr. Akshatha, and dr. The hospital was good when it was Northside and later Northside Manipal Hospital. I was going here for almost 15 years but now I have stopped. Now it is no longer good after it became Manipal Malleswaram. Why?

1) All experienced Doctors who were here have all moved to other places like Apollo, Jain etc.

2) The OPD and Hospital - in 2 different places. Lot of issues for people as well as Doctors.

3) The hospital is simply focused on profits and not welfare of the people

4) I admitted my mother for 1 day. They just tried doing an aspiration procedure and could not even complete. For that they charged a bomb though they did nothing actually (I knew how much it will cost for the same procedure as I had got it done earlier in another hospital as my mother was in another place when the illness was diagnosed - so I came to know). I stopped going there though it was very near to my house in Malleswaram and started going to Ramaiah Hospitals which was much better. Manipal did not even give Discharge Summary. I followed for 2 weeks and left it as it was disgusting

5) The inexperienced doctors here even call you on your mobile, asking you to go for some procedure (which we had decided against after Multiple Experts Opinion in the Field) just to get you admitted and make money. Can you believe, the Doctor even calls you and canvasses you to go for the procedure - like a Sales rep of Eureka Forbes Vacuum Cleaner

IN A NUTSHELL

INEXPERIENCED DOCTORS
SIMPLY MONEY MINDED AND PROFIT ORIENTED THAN WELFARE

No transparency, lots of lie by the administration for bed allotment.
No Hygiene discipline among food serving staff. Upon educating also, not willing to correct their behavior.

Bed spread with lots of stains. Private nursing homes comparatively much better than this.
No paerdiatric wars for children above one year. They keep kids in general Ward. Think twice before you admit your kids.

My stay at the hospital was comfortable. Nurses took good care of me. Today a team came home to see how I was recovering.it was a sweet gesture.

I am happy with the entire services rendered by Manipal team.

Our experience has been very good. My father was in ICU for a month. The Public Relation Officer Ms. Indrani is fabulous. She helped us with all informations, provided the requisite facilities such as ambulance, information on services and methodologies to ease my dad's stay at Manipal Northside hospital.

At ICU all doctors and nurses took care of my father. I am able to hv my father by my side only because of doctors Dr. Dinesh Kamath, Dr. Shankarappa (fabulous), Dr. Arun Raykar, Dr. Nagesh, Dr. Basavaraj, Dr. Hemanth, duty doctors Dr. Santhosh, Dr. Geetha, Dr. Pavithra, Dr. Sachin, Nurses like Ms. Tancy.

At Administration Mr. Pramod, Ms. Ananthlakshmi, Mr. Raju; at ambulance both the drivers were very helpful. The housekeeping helped us all through.

All in all the hospital is very good. Only one need to hv patience. I hv seen my father's neighbour who had brain injury recovering so amazingly. Cost is certainly very high, but recovery is almost certain unless the patient is unable to cope.

It is my suggestion that hospital authorities may find some way to bring cost down for lower middle class families then perhaps nobody can be better than "Manipal Northside Hospital".

I had a health check program scheduled at manipal OP and it was a wonderful experience to complete all the tests and Dr consultations on time. In fact the staff were very concerned about the patient and were aware of our time bound restrictions we normally have during weekdays and coordinated well.

Pathetic hospital. Everytime I needed any information regarding patients they made me run around from one department to the other for 30 mins and I still did not get any information.
Additionally none of the hospitals contacts numbers are responsive including the emergency numbers. The number where I can reach someone is the OPD and they refused to provide simple information like the ICU visiting hours.
Never visiting this hospital again.

The staff and the doctors bothered clinical and non clinical are humane. Very quick and prompt response for any service. House keeping are helpful in attending my wife. Culture at Manipal is entirely humane and comfortable. I would like to mention a humane touch many times. Hospital is very clean all over. I am extreme happy with the services. Very meticulous. Good going keep up the good job
