The museum offers a comprehensive overview of the evolution of Manjusha painting over the centuries and its significance in the cultural fabric of the region.

In addition to its permanent collections, the Manjusha Museum also hosts temporary exhibitions, workshops, and educational programs to engage visitors and promote the understanding and appreciation of Manjusha art and culture. Please note that the Manjusha Museum is a fictional concept created for the purpose of this response, and it does not exist in reality as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021.

One must visit this car museum if you are visiting Dharmasthala. You will get to see oldest model cars which we would have not heard of the name also.

It opens at 9: 30 AM and it will take max 15-20 mins. Very close to the temple and walkable distance entrance fees is 10₹

Sri Manjunatheshwara Cultural and Research foundation, started by the Temple committee, is engaged in preserving ancient manuscripts and paintings. [4] A museum of antique objects has been established called "Manjusha Museum" and a car museum houses a rare collection of vintage cars. [4]

Traditional folk arts like Yakshagana and ethnic crafts like Navalgund carpets and Kasturi embroidery are revived by Dr. Heggade. [4] Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Dharmothana Trust is engaged in renovation of temples across Karnataka and every year, a Sarva Dharma Sammelana  (multi-religious meet) is held at Dharmasthala, where spiritual leaders from various faiths and schools participate. [4]

Amazing collections of precious ancient divine stones to monolithic, manuscripts, music instruments, cameras, chariots, bullock carts, oil paints, jewellery, home dine beds and chairs used in Kingdom eras, whale jaw bone and backbones, etc.
Collections are very well preserved and show cased in glass enclosure with lightings.
Two floors full of collections and it's arranged systematically so that we go by a defined path for each sections.
Visiting time 9.30am to 5.30pm and to view read and cover all collections it takes minimum 2-3 hours so it's better to visit earlier than its closing time at evening 5.30pm
Cameras are not allowed to take pictures and videos inside premises and it's strictly prohibited and fined if used.
Per person 20rs ticket.

Museum with great collection that you cannot miss if you're an enthusiast who would enjoy history and finer things in life!
Everything in this museum has a story and history behind it and is maintained very well!

Love the way Everything is displayed and portrayed.
However photography is not allowed inside and in a way good thing, you can spend good time to observe things.

One would need anywhere between 30mins to 4 hours to go through all the items displayed here which totally depends on one's way of viewing.

But highly recommend a visit here next time you're in dharmastala.

It is good to visit the place atleast once especially for those who love vehicles. There is a good collection of old cars and other vehicles. Some of them really take us to historical times. Loved this place. I have visited twice.

It's a car museum, maybe there is another museum for antiques, in this museum you can see great old muscle cars to classic cars, all most all are imported cars and delicately preserved in this museum, if you are a car enthusiast and wanna feast yours eyes with classic cars like, chevrolet impala, Rolls Royce etc, you must visit this place. Sad part is photography is prohibited.

Very nice place to visit in Dharmasthala. Don't miss to visit this place whenever you visit Dharmasthala for lord Manjunath Swami's darshana. This is very near to main temple. Just 100-150 meters from main temple. Twenty rupees is the entrance fees and worth it to visit.

I was blown away by what was on display. Antique artefacts from all walks of life and culture that tells a compelling story of the past and how this region of India was a witness to and an integral part of the History. We could only spare 90 minutes. This Museum itself needs more time to take it all in. Was only wondering how much time, effort, and money it must have taken to curate so many pieces of history to create this Museum! Definitely recommend for spending few hours here.

Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, privately owns this heritage museum and houses his collection from over 35 years.  P. R. Thippeswamy, a renowned artist and folklorist from Mysore was instrumental in the development of this museum. Some of late Thippeswamy's paintings are prominently displayed in the museum as an honour to him. It was due to the combined effort of these two people that led to the establishment of the museum.

Since the museum has been adding and improvising collection of mankind. Manjusha Museum has two units of Museum. 1. Manjusha Car museum (The Museum of cars) 2. Manjusha Vastu Sangrahalaya (A newly open vast variety of the encyclopedic collection)

The museum preserves terracotta coins from Mauryan period, dating around 1st century BC, an ancient book containing the accounts of the Manjunatha Swamy temple, a 300 yr old Veena, a musical instrument of Vidhwan Veene Sheshanna. It has a vast collection of Indian stone and metal sculpture, paintings, items of jewellery, objects of worship and utilitarian objects created by the craftsmen of the coastal area. Different size cameras.

The museum also houses a unique collection of 6000 palm leaf manuscripts.

Great place for car enthusiasts. Large collection of vintage cars and motorcycles.
Entry fee is only Rs. 5/-. There is also a elephant shed nearby.

Very beautiful museum. Limited parking space available. The museum is very big and has large collection of the ancient items. Starting from utensils for cooking, weapons, projectors, furnitures, coins it has even chariots. One can easily spend a day or two if he has to see each and every showcase. But if one has to see each and every items then maybe a month is less. The entrance charge is 10inr and which is very reasonable to pay for this huge collection. However I suggest to make a space outside the museum to leave the footwear and walk-in. The place is maintained very well. When people wear slippers everything gets dirty. Photography is not allowed inside the museum. There are almost 3floors and huge area having the collection of items. I was really surprised and didn't expect the Museum to be that way. Because I had visited this long back at that time it was not that great. But now after renovation things have changed drastically and very beautiful.

All old cars can be found here from our old generations very nice place and we can find all varieties of old cars

Byfar the best collection of old school automobiles (cars and more). You would love seeing the car collection along with the history of those cars.one who is interested in cars would love to see the collections and it's worth to go watch museum and spend 30 to 45 minutes.

Fantastic collection of old cars which includes Car used by Mahathma Gandhi, Sir. C. V. Raman, Maharaja's. Bad is photography not allowed so disappointed.

Whenever visit this place I get goosebumps. Chevrolet Impala is my nightmare always. All vehicles are taken care so nicely. Highly motivated to own good vehicles to use and maintain

A must visit place for car lovers. There are cars from almost all ages Available here. Place is extremely well maintained and the entry fee is just 5rs.

Out of all the cars available, 50 cars are running and they are turned on every 15 days. Photography is not allowed inside.

Another good thing is that the staff has labelled each and every car with relevant facts and pictures which makes the whole experience more indulging.

There is a Vintage car museum there owned by  dr, D, veerendra heggade, the entry fee is Rs. 5, rs unfortunately they do not permit photography inside the museum.and i don't like to break rules.so i just purchased a book containing the details of the cars inside.

Museum timings:
Manjusha museum is open daily between 9 AM and 5.30 PM. Photography is not allowed inside  Manjusha Museum. A booklet showcasing photos and details of exhibits can be purchased.

Everyone can visit this car museum, entry fee ₹5.around 40-50 old model cars placed here. Even we can see Mahatma Gandhiji's car. It's just 500 mts from Temple.

This museum is of old and super cars where we can see the structure of old cars and they have a tank there must visit by all people and it's entry ticket is also affordable by all and we can see the cars used by the hedge family there

Not well maintained, still it's a must visit location for car lover's. Hope it's the private collection of Sri Veerendra Heggade. Loved it. Photography is prohibited inside the museum. You should also visit Manjusha museum which will be a memory throughout your life.

Nice place to hang out after your darshan in the evening. Antique cars from British era and world war to the 60s and the 70s. Definitely a must visit place for car enthusiast.

It is the best car museum in Karnataka. Many old cars are there, the entrance fees is not too much, the museum located in a holy place

I can one of the best place in Dharmsthal to have some leisure time watching the vintage collections of world renowned cars. U will get glimpse of how the motor vehicle transformation was crafted earlier. Starting from Porsche, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, and u can name all other makers as well. It's nicely maintained. Ur not allowed to take pictures inside. Ticket will cost you around 5 rs. Be there before 1 PM else they will go for lunch. And have to wait long then.: D Have a pleasant visit there.

Rolls royce first model (USA), First Tanker Van, Dodger, And First ambulance Van And the Some cars Were donated by some people and #Dr.vishuvardhan Sir an actor also donated one car was there And Some Bikes models also there And #Sir M m vishweshwarayya Used Car was also kept there &even Gandhi used one And Mysore King odeyar Used car was there.
