Goli baji is yumm. Being at Mantap brings back childhood memories of Masala dosa, Onion dosa and the Gudbud.

If you go to taste Mantapa ice cream of previous decade, you will be disappointed. Because ice creams have come down to mediocre level. Bale Puri, Chats were good. Now many brands that are present are taking care of the taste to enter the market.

Located on the highway, this is a good option for chats and ice creams. They are famous for their gadbad and chats. I ordered buns. They were cold and dense. Then came their gadbad. Brilliant! Creamy, not too sweet, lovely stuff! Hope tomtry their chats some day. The palce has seating and tea - coffee as well. Their prices are very reasonable. Chats are available after 4-430pm.

Mantap gadbad icecream is a must try! They make ice cream in-house and they are super delicious.
Also the Vadas and Chats are nice as well. Plus, hotel is on the highway.

You get good manglore buns in this place. A must try food. Also their ice creams are yumm even their outlet is in Bengaluru near majestic. Vanilla ice cream over there is awesome and the popsicles during summer is the best. Even since I remember I'm having their popsicles.

Super soft steaming idlis / great wadas accompanied with splendid sambaar and chutney. Very good tea or coffee! And top it up with extremely competitive prices.

I have first time tasted mantap ice cream The taste was awesome and the hotel was hygienic.

One of the best buns I had. Best combination with the served bhaaji. This place never disappoints from last so many years and must visit wala place.

Mantap ice cream parlour Saligrama is on the highway close to famous Sri Guru Narasimha temple. This place is famous for Gudbud, buns, mangalore Bhajji / Golibaje and coffee.
For morning breakfast idly vade and buns recommend and if you are there for evening then try their chats. Also they have packed chips and other fried items.

This used to be a legendary place around this area
Have been visiting the place for almost 25 years now, I have lost a count on times I have eaten at this place.

I still make a point to visit this place whenever I visit this area, I don’t sense the same excitement, taste that was once there. May be overtime cooks have changed/other places have gotten better.

Anyways definitely recommend this place, a step away from near NH66.

- We had visited this place for our evening snacks.
- We tried their freshly prepared Vegetable Samosas and Plain Dose.
- The Samosa was very tasty and was served with coconut? Chutney.
- Plain Dose was not to crispy but was soft and was good, they provide Coconut? Chutney with it, no sambar is served.
- Tea served here was decent.
- They have variety of Chats options to choose from like Pav Bhaji, Masala Poori etc.
- They have their traditionally famous items like Gudbud, Mundakki Upkari, Badam Milk? , Balehannu Rasayana is a must try.
- They have decent parking space for 3-4 cars and few bikes️.
- Decent ambience and seating? , it is one of the iconic hotels in Saligrama.

Signature dessert Gudbud tastes the same as it used to taste 15 years back ️. And upkari is delicious too

Best hotel for bfast n evening snacks. The food is authentic and very tasty. Obe of the must try item is Samosa's and Gadbad ice cream that melts in your mouth.

Probably one of the best ice cream parlours you will ever come across near Udupi. I loved the way they treat the guests and of course the ice creams were really good. Budget friendly place, located in the highway, usually this place will be crowded during week end. A must visit place.

Good. It is very near yo highway and very convenient. But needs improvement. Less varieties. Some of the varieties' quality must improve.

Unhygenic WC, Dirty wash Basin, Arrogant Cashier, Stale food. I think better they close it. People can go to Mayyas, Ganesh Grand or Latha restaurant Kota for better taste and customer friendly management. Garam masla powder dissolved in water is given as Masala puri. Avoid this place. If u want tasty food better go to Gampu canteen or mayyas restaurant in Saligrama.

This place is famous in this region. We visited here whilst passing through the area. They have good options of ice-cream served as scoops as well as Gudbud. They also have good options of other items such as chats, dosa, pav bhaji, etc. There is seating space for about 40 pax and car parking space for 4-5 cars. Prices are affordable as well. A good place to visit if you're in this area.

Had masala puri and rasayana of banana was good. Though being weekend enough space to sit and eat

Earlier standard is not there. The waiters are so lazy and they forget what we ordered. The day when v went there the wash basin was full of dirty. Unless they come to the old level people may discontue to go there. Hope we may see the old mantapa soon

Beautiful authentic South Indian food, I have been eating here since my childhood there's no change in the taste it's a super place.

They were the pioneers of Gudbud icecream and one of the best icecream parlours. They even serve very good masala dosa. Their dry Mysore Pak and Nippat are our favourite in kurkure items.

Unhygienic wash basin, rude behaviour of lady upstairs. Only grace is good servers and ever smiling owner. Quality is very much below average, better avoid this place, because u have better resturants in Salgrama for that price.

Slightly disappointed this time! Was expecting more of natural fruits in Gudbud than tuty futy! Please add them team! Otherwise a good one!

It's a small place off the highway one can seldom miss at sastana. They have a limited menu and most of the items on the menu are tasty. Try their gudbud ice cream and ask for them for it to be prepared and not the ready made one. Simple, yet classic.

The place has lost its charm. The quality has degraded over the years. Not recommended. Given two stars just for a seating option.

Great local Ice cream and local "mandakki" (ಮಂಡಕ್ಕಿ). They've managed to retain their quaint charm for two decades or more.

Famous for GudBud Ice cream and mandakki upkari. Chats are quite good. Also check out few variety of dosa.

At Saligrama, near the famous Anjaneya Temple. This is my paternal home town. The idli/wada sambar and chutney were great! The tea / coffee with moderate sugar (specifically requested) were also great.
