Food is amazing.
But the place needs to be redecorated and there's very less ventilation.
Also, finding parking is a hassle sometimes.

That food is not for spicy lovers not worth for money fish has no taste at all it feels like eating fish after cooking in hot water, rice quantity also less and i ordered one prawns fry that tastes good that i can give 3 stars but it is some what expensive.overall maintenance is good

Govt entity is diagonally opposite to Century club near cubbon park. Good sea food and you can have food there, as per the price seating arrangement is good. Pocket friendly and good taste

They serve stale fish that doesn't taste good and causes food poisoning. I had severe stomach pain and itching all over the body. Never ever take fish from here.

I don't understand why people are madly standing in Qs for that expensive food with very ordinary taste.
They give fish in very less quantity for that price.

An amazing place for seafood. Ordering a la carte can get a little expensive so if you intend to eat alone, your best bet would be to visit this place for lunch and have their thali (set lunch) which are only available in the afternoon. I opted for seafood thali which comes with prawns rava fry and clams. You can also opt for fish thali instead which comes with fish fry instead of prawns and clams. All of the food is simply delicious and the place is a must try if you love seafood.

Unworthy food. The quality and taste is not upto the mark, just minting money because of the location and no competitors around.

Over hyped place. This place is stinking and works like a rotten government department. You have to wait for long time for the counter people to come and to take your order. Even when they come, they will not be knowing which dishes are ready. They run frequently out of the counter, to check in the kitchen about dish availability, instead of taking orders, leaving you waiting in the que.
Carry enough cash, because the cards do seem to work rarely there. Not worth traveling too far to get to this place, as there are several other good restaurants in Bangalore, which serve good sea food
Anyway, the department that runs this eating place will not try to improve the place, whatever may be the customer experience or review.

130rs for 1 plate meals. They will give one Mackerel big ragi ball and rice. But fish curry is not interesting.but other recipes are ok. Not bad you can pay the visit once.

This seafood restaurant is run by the department of fisheries of govt of Karnataka. So the food is not very expensive, very moderate. The fish curry with rice or ragi balls is awesome. No fancy frills. Just delicious food. Also they serve varieties of sea food like fish, prawns crabs etc. The masala is just authentic Natty Style. Lunch is always crowded because of the offices in the vicinity of cubbon park.self service.

It's an ovrr hyped average govt runned restaurant, all fish foods i had tasted, but felt less salt and spices in all fish dishes which i ate, also they had raised all their food menu prices by 10% from 1st april 2022, felt a bit injustice with the cost

Canteen run by karnataka fisheries department, had great fish meals for Rs120 rice bowl or ragi ball with 3 massive piece of fish curry, sambar & butter milk. U can also try varieties of sea food for a reasonable rate.

Run! Even if f you are nearby this place accidentally, run away as fast as you can. Worst food with its highest price. I ordered one prawns fry and fish fry. It cost me 200 each. But trust me, they served already made dish in a 1rs paper plates. Quality of the food was no better than the street vendors who sell the same stuff for 50rs. Tasteless, meat was not fresh at all. Worst hospitality. Completely a waste of money and time.

Really nice fish dishes, had some fish kebab and anjal fry. Prices are really low for the dishes compared to other restaurants as it is government owned.

Great Food, Briyani is served hot if you visit this place at 1 pm. But, place is too small therefore it advisable to order online.

Briyani is reasonable and economical @ Rs 200/- for chicken briyani on Dt 12th Jan 2021.

Nice food. Fresh fishes both curry and fry. Always busy is one of the negative factor. Parking also a concern. But to taste the good food all the hurdles are not a big issues. Must visiting restaurant in Bangalore for fish lovers.

Don't expect ambience or a relaxed lunch.the food is the only highlight.food tastes above average, good quality and extremely low priced.expect the typical govt official behaviour from the staff and bureaucrats from neighbouring offices to skip queues.expect an unattended plate with leftovers and bones right next to where you're eating.

Under G. O. K Management, this is been well maintained and the seafood variety is more. The fish curry meal is a must trt one.

The place gives u a smell of fish as they are aquarium through out the place, and food is ok self service, fish fry is also ok nothing great, price is reasonably ok but good for passing by that road and ha e a quick stop

Seems these ppl are forgotten previous quality. Am stay in hyderabad. Being mangalorean i visit this hotel whenever visit to Bangalore. It is definitely spoiling the food tradition of Heritage coastal culture that we feel proud. Hope they will improve.and my sentences positivly.

It's a govt owned restaurant. Decently priced but no service. Self service is the only option. Fish quality is good but served very badly.

Good pricing, ok food, not a decent auro to sit with your family. One time place. Try their raagi maththe, they're the only one who makes it pure with Raagi.

Last Friday visited this place on recommendation of friend! Seriously don't understand who are these people giving 4* to this place! Either they came from different planet or never tasted fish before! To order the food you have to stand in q then to take food again a q! After getting the plates its again nd wait and watch game as its over congested and mis managed dinning hall where nothing is proper! These things can still be accepted if the food is tasty but that's the most horrible part here! Fish Biryani costs 180 in which they give half a bowl quantity rice with fish which has bones and taste yuck! Would love to meet the chef who calls that Biryani! We didn't gave hope and thought May be we order wrong thing so we went for different iteams hoping for a miracle! So we ordered fish kabab and different fish fry and none where fresh nor had the taste! No proper marination nor the proper spices! It was same bland taste! Everything felt cooked in hurry just for namesake! The bright light in that bluish aquarium interior was the butter milk! If only I can murder one person and get away then for sure the friend of mine who recommended this place will be that! How can people give 4 or 5 star to a place which charges so hefty still does not provide basic necessary things a restaurant should have!

Previously fish meals was tasty but now taste less, they shud stop serving buttermilk in plastic glass.

A canteen run by Karnataka state fisheries department. If your requirement is having fresh fish then this is the place. All other including the preparations taste is just mediocre. Pricing is decent and on weekdays it will be pretty crowded for lunch. They are open on Sundays also

No class. No taste and no manner. Fish was smelling like. Unhygienic and poor maintenance. Very costly and infact they are using Unhygienic edible oil for cooking foods. I would suggest you all not to go and have food if you are outside from Karnataka.

Felt side item priced a bit costly but meals priced availabe @ 100/- is worth the money.

The fish served here are fresh, however not washed properly so there is a smell.
For people who are not worried about ambience should give a try once. Fish meals is served with ragi balls which is healthier option. Prawns are fried with the skin - which makes it not appealing.

The fresh fish makes you want to come here time and again! Ragi balls are very tender and tasty.
