Wish i could have given a zero star if it was possible. Place boasts of a restaurant which doesn't have the basic food in the menu. Not at all suggestive for food.
Beautiful large property, gives an ambiance feel of a resort, ample parking. Great connectivity. Rooms are spacious as well. Cleanly maintained. Clean toilets. Service provided was upto mark, good food as well, south and north indian, both buffet and ala carte is available.
Please do remember it is a 2 star property and goverment maintained, dont set ur expectations to 5 star hotel.
Pros: 1. Liked the AC, its noiseless, i have never heard such a noise less machine. 2. Thanks for the mysore sandal soaps, these are amazing. 3. Reasonable rates, i didnt had to think and spend.
Cons: 1. Bathroom has a foul odor, that is because of less air circulation, it can be masked by either using the godrej air pockets or put an exhaust to solve permanently. 2. Central water heating doesnt work properly in all cases and all weather, like solar.especially in rainy season water wont be hot enough, it will be luke warm. Please consider adding geyser 3.9.30 PM is last order time, which is bit early and creates crowd, extend till 10.30 and also if possible provide card based payment for the restaturant.
All in all, i had a great stay with my 1.5 years kid. It felt like home. Thanks to all guys around who made the stay easy and relaxing.
Foods here are worst. Ambience is fine. We tried 4 starters and believe me they were having the worst taste we have ever had. However the persons serving the food were polite.
The key highlight of staying at Mayura Bhuvaneshwari KSTDC Hotel is its location. It is located near to Hampi ruins. The hotel has a large parking area and open restaurant. Lot of open areas. The rooms are small but clean. The staff is courteous.
The restaurant is decent but with limited menu options.
Staff is lazy and don't bother about service. The waiting staff at the restaurant are very callous and have an attitude. I don't blame the staff to be honest, the place doesn't have a good leader at the top. It is like a headless chicken. I stay here often and I've never seen the GM at the property.
Very bad hotel. Its state government hotel. You can understand how bad the service would be. Unfortunately we booked it for 2 days. 1. Rooms are very small. 2. Same breakfast complimentary both days. 3. One light for entire room. 4. Bucket and mug are broken. 5. AC water is dripping in the room.
The rooms are very clean and simple but are a bit on the smaller side. It gets pretty cramped with 3 people in the same room and you can't go without getting the room cleaned everyday. Even if a continental meal plan is mentioned while booking, you only get poha, upma, idli, and vada at the breakfast buffet. You can get bread, and omlettes as the complimentary breakfast only if you ask for it. Limited variety regarding food for lunch and dinner but there are plenty of good restaurants and khanavalis in the vicinity.
The only good thing about the stay was the decent room space. Everything other than that was below average. -the staff is very laid back and very rude. -the rooms were very smelly and we needed to turn the AC on all the time. - the food is bad and serves yesterday's stored food.
We sat almost for 40 minutes and no one even came to take order in spite of reminding several times. They were focused more on people ordering drinks than family customers.
It's an old govt run hotel, not maintained. Rooms have ages old furniture, ac that wont work, limited breakfast. This is mainly for govt employees who get free stay there
Poor Management, u have to spend at least valuable 3 hours for lunch if u poke them otherwise God knows. Why this peoples are hanging such big hoardings in City. नाम बडे दर्शन छोटे.
The rooms were decent, although one smelt a bit. Heating the water for bathing took forever. The staff is nonchalant, rude and probably forget they are the staff. A couple of times we had to walk to the kitchen reception to remind them we had ordered. There is no room service.
The food was ok but half the menu wasn't available. And it took forever to be served. It's almost a self serve type place.
The location is alright and close to everything around.
I heard food was good but i never get to taste it because of worst service Literally waited for 45 mins just to give order no one showed up When i walk to one of the waiter and asked him to take our order he responded rudely i had leave the hotel worst experience ever
Not worth for money. Room are small.old construction.bad room service.no responsible person to complaint.room size is smaller than they produce at time of booking.
Nice place to stay with family. Rooms and toilets well maintained. Food service also good. Nice ambience. A big lawn is there where children can play and enjoy
People here are very lazy. I don't recommend you unless you are their loyal customers. I just went for breakfast by 9.30am. There was no sambar left. The only variety other than idli was poha. Which is not even a karnataka authentic breakfast dish. I wonder who would go for these breakfasts in a hotel run by karnataka govt. They really need to upgrade their standards. I've been in other mayura hotels. They are not like this hotel.
Good ambience, GOOD food but attitude of young staff is not. I had to teach them how to talk to guests.value for money.the elder staff came and said sorry.still the staff salutes govt servants as VIP's.the so called. Politicians, govt servants should behave as normal people here.they should understand that they are paid by our tax.
Hotel looks beautiful and the ambience is good. It is located extremely close to the sites in hampi which makes traveling very efficient. The hotel will book you guide and autorickshaw at a low price for about ₹1000 per day. However the AC of our room did not work and mechanic did not show up even after complaining several times. Worst part of the hotel is the food, which is over priced and is not worth your money.
Spacious rooms, good for one day stay.don't have good options lunch or dinner.dont serve idli or dosa in breakfast but breakfast is good.big parking area
Extremely Smelly and shaby rooms with insects. Not maintained at all. Complete waste of money. Restaurant food is not good, there will always be no salt in food and staff is very weird, lost in their own world. Unable to handle customers. They literally ignore you. Breakfast buffet is yuck, no salt, no taste and we had to struggle to even get plates. Every item will quickly vanish and will take ages for refill. Pathetic. Spoilt my entire trip.
A bit expensive, should have been almost Rs 1000 cheaper. TV wasn't charged during the whole time. Rs 4000 room should have basic facilities like coffee maker, hot water, TV etc
1. The hotel is situated in good location 2. We can't keep our belongings in the room, no proper lock system 3. Not maintained rooms 4. Smell is very bad 5. Food cost is very high, not worthy for money 6. Serving worst food 7. Staffs are not supportive
I'm not happy with staying this hotel and I'm not suggesting this hotel.
This is the first time I would recommend a government run place. Yeah this is the best place for food around Hampi. I am not talking about authentic food.nor do they have every item in the menu. But you get good quality and clean food for very decent price which is in short around here.
The Hotel has a beautiful facade and Rooms maybe luxurious and classy but not recommended for solo travellers and who are planning to stay in their dorms. Dorms are unkempt and stuffed with uncomfortable beds and crowded with people. The scenario looks like a boy's hostel. They also have a restaurant which is good.
Property is well maintained Rooms are not that well maintained Hot water comes 24*7 but need to waste 1-2 bucket of water before hot water comes, they provide with Mysore sandal soap and dove shampoo sachet The rooms need renovation Bathroom gutter was stinking during some part of the days At the entry of the hotel there is a police station Veg & non veg restaurant Bisleri sold at mrp Very promt hotel staff service
Hampi is an experience of lifetime! The endless horizons, romantic sunsets, surreal landscapes, magnificent temples and an open sky give a feeling of freedom. The enchanting beauty of Hampi is beyond words. A leisurely stroll through eloquent ruins in the Royal Centre and the Sacred Centre will whisper a thousand stories in your ears as your steps take you back in time.
Hotel Mayura Bhuvaneshwari Kamalapur in Hampi is the only hotel located within the World Heritage Site area. The hotel provides its esteemed guests with 30 air-conditioned rooms with the option of a suite, deluxe and semi-deluxe accommodation and 6 dormitories.
Guests can relish the local delicacies along with a variety of Indian and continental cuisine. The hotel also offers Hampi sight-seeing trips and tourist guides on request.
My family stayed here for one day. In the first week of December 2020. Ours was AC room. I won't recommend this at all. Rooms are small. Bathroom smaller. And the food was real bad (no salt). The one and only thing why people might choose this one is its location.
A decent place to stay in Hampi. I booked a dormitory with 5 bunker beds for 7 people. It had one attached bathroom only which was bit inconvenient. Overall it's nice if you book normal rooms. There's a restaurant inside this Hotel where you'll get breakfast till 10: 30, Lunch till 2: 30 and Dinner till 10: 30. There's a bar too.
