MC Resort, Wildlife Resort, Bandipur

We used the restaurant which was good but late in service. We checked rooms which were very old fashioned (like a typical hostel)

Nice place. Visited in August 2022. It is very close to Bandipur safari point. (~1Km). Resort is surrounded with greenery. Has separate rooms equipped with bathroom sofa bed tv. Rooms are spacious. Vibe is peaceful.
They have a great swimming pool. You can stay here & have a relaxing time with friends & family. Only issue was with hot water availability.
Food is great. We stayed there for 2 nights & food had great variety.
Staff is courteous, very helpful.

The resort location awesome! The service provided by Mr. Dinesh must be a 7 star rating, he even took minute care of providing fresh and hot tea at 5: 30 AM in the morning before safari; serving delicious dinner at night! Mr. Vinay at reception also humble! The stay there comfortable, thank you!

They deserve a better rating. Here are the reasons
1) Rooms are clean and tidy and moreover spacious than what other resorts claim as big room and charge high
2) Food - most of us opt for A la carte over buffet but in here it's better to opt for buffet as it comes in package of breakfast, lunch and dinner and evening snacks with tea/coffee is complimentary here. If you want to know the quality then it's safe and preferred food that even 2 years toddlers and 5 years kids love to have and have no side effects. Overall feels more like home made safe food.
3) Perfect location - as it's just a few meters away from the entry or exit of Bandipur gates.
4) Service - excellent service and swift response are their KPIs.
5) Pool - well maintained, clean and hygienic and best part is you don't have red eyes or any skin irritation after spending time in pool.
Btw they have 2 separate pools pretty big for both kids and adults
6) lots of greenery and statues of animals and birds for photo shoot with kids.
General toilets are also clean and well maintained for cab drivers if you are travelling with a cab.
7) Finance/Charges - if you compare other resorts and hotels especially in other neighbouring states where they claim everything is great and charge extravagant, this resort will surprise you with a reasonable price for every service.

Overall one of the best places for family and friends to have a great time

Very bad service and worst hospitality, Dirty lenin and unhygienic rooms.i suggest not go here for anything.

Nice decent place for staying in Bandipur.courteous staff.all meal plan is good offering.swimming pool is maintained. Slightly overpriced given the facilities, maybe this is due to the current phase of tourism.

This was a good resort. But sometimes due to it being near the tiger reserve, the wild boars come to the resort and it gets difficult for us to sight them, especially if they come at night times. Otherwise the resort is overall good.

Not worth for money. No basic toiletries provided and the cottages are very old needs refurbishment. Staffs are friendly and helpful but the Manger is not. Food was tasteless - lunch and dinner, breakfast was good.

Pool was neatly maintned and we spotted leopard with 2 cubs just behind the stay at night which was very nice.

This is a below average property all together not worth paying so much. Basic amenities are not included the rooms were not cleaned properly the linen had a bad odour no toiletries provided the taps were leaking. The food was pathetic it was blant no salt nor spicy the so called north Indian curries were sweet the parotta was very hard which was served for dinner. Looked like just for the sake of doing its prepared. The staffs were friendly Mr. Gavi was allotted to us he was very humble. We did spot leopard with cubs at their backyard of the property.

If you are looking for a decent place to stay while you access Bandipur sanctuary, then this is the place. If you are looking for luxury resort, you may want to look elsewhere.

MC resort offers a good balance between affordability and decent stay option in this area.

The rooms are okay, the linen was clean, the toilet and bathroom are functional but could be better in terms of maintenance. The rooms are without air conditioning but that's okay for most of the time of the year. Hot water is available only in the morning hours.

The food on the full on board option was pretty good. There was a decent spread of vegetarian and non vegetarian food items and service was pretty prompt. The the staff was proactive and were eager to support.

The resort is about 5 minutes drive from the Bandipur sanctuary office.

Rooms could do better but very hygienic and clean, well maintained property. Food is average and the staff is very hospitable and fast.

Not pet friendly. They allow pets only if the resort does not have enough guests and is empty. Call and confirm with them before booking.

A nice stay for family or friends. The non veg tasted much different here and it was yum! We gotta see leopard in night at backyard of the resort. Staff were very kind.

There is pool and same table games to play.

MC resort is one of the best resorts rooms are clean food is excellent super delicious and staff are very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool maintenance is good. Overall superb resort very happy with the resort.

The resort was reasonably good. The food was freshly made and brought to our table, the taste was exceptional.
The customer service was good, the rooms was good and all the amenities was fantastic. The location and the environment was amazing.

Extremely cordial and helpful staff. Cleanliness and maintenance of rooms and swimming pool can be better. Has its own jungle safari. Place is nice, cottage like rooms and has its own parking space. Buffet for lunch, dinner, and breakfast is nice with a variety of veg and non veg dishes.

Resort at very good location. Just after resort the tiger reserve starts. Multiple cottages are available. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were included. Staff are very nice and helpful. Food is good with veg and non veg options in buffet. Only thing noted is property/room is bit old. They arrange safari also based on need, though it is costly. 2k per person.

MC Resort is beyond perfect in terms of accommodation, food, staff, amenities. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Tasty and variety of food is served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The swimming pool is well maintained and so is the other indoor and outdoor games. The location of the resort is perfect, 2 min away from the safari starting point and a minute away from the forest check post. The lush greenery of the resort provides a serene ambience. A perfect gate away in the lap of nature, away from the hectic work schedule and the city life. The courteous staff at the resort makes your stay even more relaxing.

The hospitality of the staffs is good. They are very friendly and cooperative. But the rooms are small, beds are untidy. It provides very basic toiletries. Food is not good. I got sick. Badminton racquets were broken.

The resort is horrible. The manager is too rude. Never ever go the resort. They are extremely rude and in human.

I was with my parents and husband, and came to resort during the day time. We were on our way back from Ooty and thinking about an overnight halt, my husband and father went to enquire about the cottage tariffs while my mother and I went to use the restroom. If it is only for the guests, then be sensible and put a board outside stating the same. Also, how dare you write that we were drunk when we were with our parents. It seems your staff has done the same thing to multiple people that’s why you are sharing this response probably thinking that I am someone else. This just proves that what I am saying about your resort is correct. Rude and senseless people. Never go to this place. Wish I could give you people negative stars instead of 1.

Very quiet place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very close to bandipur jungle safari starting point. Good place for bird enthusiasts

An average resort with below average service and below average maintenance. Food is just ok. Choices are very limited and you have to satisfy yourself with just what is available. Staff is courteous but untrained and lack knowledge. Resort is so poorly maintained that stray animals walk in just like that. The resort does have a swimming pool and a few other indoor sports too like table tennis, carrom, ludo, draught etc but everything is improperly maintained. Even the approach isn't easily visible from the road. The only good thing about the resort is it's proximity to bandipur wildlife sanctuary.

Facilities are not so great, just the location is too good and look like a heritage one. Service is nice, one service guy will help throughout the day. Room conditions, bathroom and sleeping bed seeks maintenance! Costlier against the facility. Food quality is the only one where I don't have any complain!

Location and food is good. The price is also reasonable compared to the other resorts in the area. Rooms are also clean. It's a great place to spend your evening with family and friends

It was a expensive and not value for money. There is no cleanliness in the rooms. The rooms are full of lizards. Not a recommended place to stay

There are three things that decide on how good a place is:
1. Hospitality
2. Room quality
3. Food quality.

Hospitality was great at this place. Pavan was a guy who was assigned to take care of us and he was helping in each and every thing. He was not getting irritated at all and always had a proper attitude.

Room was very good I took 2 executive suite. Big room with proper beds, clean bedsheet, nice sofa, meshed rear balcony and front balcony with sitting capacity gives you a great experience.

Food was awesome and best part was they where courteous and ensured that people eat food properly.

Overall it was a great experience staying there. Although I was bit skeptical with some negative reviews but for me it was an awesome stay and also the property was great which gives actual forest like experience.

Rooms are good non a/c, enough for 2 adults and 1 child. Extra bed available on request. 3 square meals, included in the package. Food is good, with non veg served in the buffet. Adult and children swimming pool. Camp fire can be done on request. Spacious walking area with sufficient parking.

Beautiful Pace to live in & enjoy vacation and it located right next to the Bandipura wild life sanctuary which makes it more ideal place to live in and it has lot more accommodation & fun to spend a happy vacation.calm & peaceful. So guys out there. Enjoy your vacations.

The rooms are quite small. The food was great and staffs very courteous. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Good location, lots of greenery, very friendly staff, awesome food, outdoor activities can be improved, pool is clean and well maintained, bonfire can be improved, mosquitoes are an issue. Do carry your repellant lotions. Overall nice experience. Been there twice. And will definitely go again.

You will feel in the lap of nature. Beware as you might encounter wild animals (like wild pig) near it. Food is not that good.

Good for people who love nature. They have a buffet system which does not boast a lot of variety. But they have a swimming pool and bonfire at night. They also have a forest safari service which runs at morning and evening

One of the best resort in Bandipur National Park. Service and ambiance is good. The staffs are very much cooperative and they also have good parking space. The food served is delicious. The cottages and the rooms here are very nice and clean. I spent a very short time here and that experience itself was too good.
