MDP Coffee House

I initially thought it would be very expensive like Hatti Kaapi but rates are nominal. Coffee was Rs. 12 and tasted as that of Hatti Kaapi and Maddur Vada were delicious. Want to try Idli dosa next

Nice filter coffee, the owner and staff are really good. Idli was super soft, would definitely recommend this place for a small break.

Quaint little place. Good strong coffe but coffe not so great. Ambience is okay and cozy. Visit here for strong south Indian coffe.

I happen to find this place while ordering lemon rice on food delivery app! Boy, I'd fall in love with their lemon rice. So fresh it was, made me feel someone really cares & put their heart in making light, less spicy and refreshing lemon rice.
So my visit happen, i had Podi Ghee Masala Dose.with less ghee and sugar less coffee
I found my breakfast filling and it made me happy

Well it's a small south indian eatary along with beverage shop. Food was hygiene and tasted good. Staffs are kind. Stil there is a scope for improvement in variety of dishes and taste as well. The best coffee or Tea for the people stay around.

Food is mediocre. All the ingredients like Podi, sambar etc are bought pre-made, thus of a very average quality in terms of taste. Even the tea was disappointing. Lemon tea was made from a store bought syrup and the Ginger Tulsi was a tea bag in hot water.

Edit: It is very unlikely that a place that serves store bought Ginger-tulsi tea (with a tea bag ‍️) will make everything else in-house.

Note: Food is not bad, but not great either. Food usually will taste great if it is made in-house. However, nothing wrong with store bought or ghost kitchen bought items like sambar, podi, ginger tusli tea etc. This Review is only meant as a constructive criticism in the hope that the food taste will significantly improve and more people can enjoy the said food. There also seem to be other reviews that share a similar view.

Well it's a cozy coffee shop in kormangala. Well the filter cofee was ok not upto the mark as we taste in local darshani hotels. Can find short eats which is good. The ambience is good can recommend for visit. The staff is kind and friendly but feel needs more of training.

One of the best places for breakfast in the area. Really light on the pocket and they serve delicious home-like food. Has a really great ambience as well. 10/10 would recommend the Khara Idli and coffee. Also try out their Mysore Masala Dosa. Idlis are super light and fluffy. Overall an amazing place to come with family and friends.

The food is average, not good. Just average food in a decent looking place. There is always staff which is less. So you stand at counter and no is there to take slip. Even a thing like idly and Vada take 5-10 mins. Also some foods have excess salt and few things they forget. Like today I had Mysore masala which did not have salt at all and pori combo where there was excess salt. I won't make visit to this place again.

This place has a nice ambiance and infrastructure. Their Special coffee is a must have.
Their only downside is their food, which is ironic. They don’t know how to make Idli, sambhar, chutney or even dosa.
Idlis are stretchy, sambhar and chutney are always watery, and dosa is dry and bland.
The only reason this place is running is its name, coffee, ambiance and location.

A QSR with around 5-6 tables which serves good coffee and South Indian breakfast dishes.
Most of the breakfast dishes were good but the vada was undercooked & puri was slightly oily.
Team has to fix these small things which will help them go the distance.

As the name suggests it's a place worth trying their special coffee. If you are some one who prefers there coffee to be slightly on the bitter side, give this place a shot. I think you will like it.

Dosa is extremely delicious but the tea and coffee is a little strong. Also the vada is a little bit overcooked.
Ambience is satisfying and soothing.

Special coffee is a must have.
I liked their dal kichdi served along side pappad and pickle.
Their butter Maggie is worth a try too

Great south indian vegetarian options! I asked the manager for stronger coffee and they obliged. Taste of the dosas and paneer biryani was great! Loved the coffee as well.

This place is newly opened in hsr with sweet decor and yummy breakfast.
I went here for breakfast tried podi idli, idli and rava onion dosa. Everything was really good, the best part is the filter coffee and lemon tea at this place. I specially loved the lemon tea and the podi idli here.
They also have good seating space.

I have been to mdp many many times when in Whitefield, this place is located in hsr and newly opened, i tried ghee dosa, masala dosa and coffee here, the food was good, coffee was quite average.

We frequently go to MDP coffee house for snacks and coffee/Tea. What we have observed is recipe for common things like chappathi or puree/puri is not up to liking. Chappathi is deep fried with oil dripping on it and feels like applam and puri is hard like applam. While we were ordering biller said they have neer dosa as special and i went for it. Trust me it was the worst ever neer dosa in my life, it was deep fried and it looked and tasted like masala dosa in neer color atleast visually. Im not sure how chain of coffee shop can do such blunders. Best thing you can have is coffee and idly vada if you are hungry, it is good.
