Megh Darshini

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Megh Darshini during my visit to Dharwad. I was looking for a comfortable and convenient accommodation, and I must say that this hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways.

First and foremost, the location of the hotel was excellent. It was situated in the heart of the city, close to several popular attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. This made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city and accessing public transportation. Additionally, the hotel provided easy access to major highways and the airport, which was a major plus for me as a traveler.
Note: They do not accept upi, card, gpay, phone pay payment only cash

Famous place for Puri baji in Dharwad. Also mast try are Onion dosa. However this is cash only place. No Paytm, phonepe.

A Good Place to Eat with a variety of Options. The food tastes awesome and the quantity of the food is also nice.
I have tried their North Indian Dishes like Dal Khichdi, Nan, Kulcha, Paneer Hyderabadi, Palak Paneer, Palak Rice. Tried Pav Bhaji, Gobi Manchurian also and the taste was awesome.

This place only accepts Cash.

The taste of food is good, i only got confused why they put deluxe room facility? There is no any good atmosphere at deluxe room! Overall the hotel is best for food and quick service.

Food is not at all good. The manager in the cash counter is very irresponsible and rude to everyone. And staff is very rude to customers.

Quality and quantity is fantastic.

ಆಗ್ಗಿದ್ದು. ಅಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನಾನು ಅವಳ (ಪೂರಿ) ನ್ನು
ನನಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವಳ ಹಾಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯ ಯಾವುದೇ ಬಿರುಕು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ
ಮುಂದುವರಿಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ನನ್ನವಳ ಬೆಲೆ ಮೊದಲಿಗಿಂತ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಆಗತಾನೆ ಇದೆ (ಅಂದರೆ 2013ರಲ್ಲಿ 15ರೂ ಇದ್ದವಳು. ಈಗ ಅಂದರೆ 2021ರಲ್ಲಿ 25ರೂ ದುಬಾರಿ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.)
ಆದರೆ. ನನ್ನ ಅವಳ (️ಪೂರಿ) ಸಂಬಂಧಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಅಡ್ಡಿ. ಇಲ್ಲ
ಅವಳು (ಪೂರಿ) ಹಾಗೂ ನಾನು (ಸಾಗು /ಪಲ್ಲೆ) ಬೆರೆತಾಗ ಆಗುವ ಸಂತಸ! ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

We are very old customers of megha darshini. Though we don't live in the city anymore but still the staffs remember us even today, and give us similar service which they gave us 10 years ago.

This is the one among the oldest in Dharwad, Poori is must try over here for breakfast, lunch and dinner are also the best

It was really a good hotel nd the service was really quick nd the gesture towards customers is also good

Biriyani! I can eat the best biriyani only here. Best Hotel In dharwad. All the facilities are good here

The vegetarian dishes here are simply superb. Always crowded. Keep some time for waiting as well

I was on my way from Mangalore to Pune and it was afternoon and I was touching the national highway at dharwad.

Hence checked for famous resturants in Dharwad.

This place popped up first. Went there had food.

Frankly I dint like it at all, just that we were hungry and wanted to move ahead we just had roti, one mix veg sabzi and dal fry.

None tasted good, so finally had two curd rice, which was relaxing to have and we rushed out of that place.

This is my favourate hotel in Dharwad. Everytime i used to visit, whenever come to Dharwad. Margin rate for good quality food. All class people used to come here for delicious food. I m loving this hotel very much. Even good service every time.

This is one place in dharwad where food tastes amazing, prices are dirt cheap and the service is super fast. It's a little inside the market so cannot easily locate it but otherwise whenever I am in the vicinity I never miss a chance to eat at this place. They have a family room inside and a general space outside for those who want to have a quick bite

Megha Darshini serves quality food at affordable rate. During weekends waiting will be bit more than any restaurants in Dharwad. Economic restaurant for dharwadians.

I am visiting here since from my childhood, they never broke my hope of tasty good food till now. They have a awesome team of workers, they are very helpful. As I have seen They handle all types of people with great respect and honour.prices are also not too high and it is in the prime location of Dharwad, that is the centre of city, in the market.so that we have to adjust for parking space, it is not available in or around hotel. Hotel is in busy streets of market. But we have a option of parking around Vivekananda circle which is walkable distance to hotel. But u should be lucky enough to get a space there as there is limited space available and they are almost full in peak hours.

Tasty & good food, good service & servants, fair price, cleanliness has maintained very well, convenient to everyone.

Best hotel with really good taste and low price compared to other standard hotel. Must visit if you in Dharwad

IT'S CHEAPEST AND BEST "VALUE FOR MONEY " HITEL IN DHARWAD CITY. NO OTHER HOTEL CAN BEAT IT in terms of TASTE and PRICE

It's a hotel with pure vegetarian dishes. They serve breakfast but in lunch and dinner they serve only North Indian dishes.

Excellent food and price is much less compared to other hotels though the quality of food remain same. Customer friendly service

I am locally from Dharwad since my birth. Eralier it was as Brahman Tea Club owned by one Sri. Haridas Bhatt. In last 15 years about the present hotel came in existence.
