Its not good for serious patient, its worst treatment, one blood report will take 3days one hrct reports will take 3days, then how will given treatment without any reports, its not explain patient condition

(19-07-2023) When my mother had labor pains, I took her to Metro United Health Care, Shimoga without thinking about anything and admitted her, Dr. Nagmani madam, an obstetrician there delivered my mother, my mother gave birth to a baby boy, Dr. Nagmani madam who had previously delivered my first baby boy was special, when I found out that my mother was pregnant, she was 9 months old. Under Shadopachara's guidance, the health has improved, the staff of the hospital is good and the receptionists who welcome the sick patients who come to the hospital with a smile, the pharmacy staff who give medicine immediately when they need it, the doctors who come for rounds on time, the staff who let them in strictly during the visiting hours, all of them are helpful and give discounts even in terms of money. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಎರಡನೇ ಸಲ ಅಡ್ಮಿಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ತಿಂಗಳು ಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಈ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಜೊತೆ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನೋಡಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತುಂಬಾ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ವೈದ್ಯರು, ನರ್ಸ್ ಗಳು, ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಬಾಯ್, ಹೌಸ್ ಕೀಪಿಂಗ್. ಮೈಂಟೆನೆನ್ಸ್, ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬೇರೆ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವರ್ಗದ ಜನರಿಗೂ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಆಗುವಂತಹ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಅಂತ ನನಗೆ ಅನಿಸಿತು. ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಶುಚಿತ್ವ ವನ್ನು ಹೀಗೆ ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ.

My second god is Dr shivashankar, he saved my mom. Hospital environmental is very friendly. Good response from all staff like doctor, reception, nursing care, PRO, house keeping over all. Financial god is insurance guy which he helped from being to end till final approval.

I read the very good reviews for metrounited healthcare. But to my experience only junior doctors will handle the patients.i was referred to Pruthvi Sir but Pruthvi Sir will come and visit within blink of an eye.he will just consult junior doctors and whatever they say he will just nod his head and leave.glad to see the supportive insurance team throughout the discharge process.

We experienced that, when the patient gone for the OT, the ward bed needs to be vacated. I did not saw this method in any other hospitals like Forties/Manipal. We argued with incharge person however end of the day the family person who is going to wait outside of ICU, there is no facility like waiting place over night/ he has to site on a chair /sleep in next the OT waiting area whole night.
My request to Hospital administrators that, it’s not a good situation to vacate the ward suddenly to the family attender of the patent. Hence its ok to change and ask them to stay/wait in the waiting lounge which will be very useful for outstation patients. And during emergency situations, we will be focusing on person who is in OT than anything, we thank you all the efforts of the hospital to make our life easy however my feedback is a part of continuous improvement.

I did not saw much Senior Doctor and also do not know why they won’t allow us to see our patients records.
Our person was very serious on an Thursday night but doctor came and spoke to us at 11 am.
Do not assume everything will be taken care after admission to hospital

I'm very thank you Dr madhuadhan.my brother got head injury and recovered soon by his treatment. Even hospital nursing staff and housekeeping is very good. I want to thank you insurance person regarding financial problem he helped us a lot.

Hospitality at Metro is really superb and the staffs, service, and the treatment really helped us to improve soon. Last but not the least, Aparna Karthik and Shabarish helped us a lot in completing the insurance formalities

I'm Lokesh kumar, operated under Dr Basavesh, Dr Srikanth, Dr Ramchandra, I'm very happy with this doctor. I'm thankful to them, Hospital staff also cooperated very nice. Last but not least I'm thank full to Mr. Shabarish & Mr. Pradeep kamath insurance persons helped us a lot. I'm also referred my friend Circle & Relation.

I don't think this hospital is well equipped to treat Covid Patients who are in critical condition. My father-in-law was admitted in this hospital with covid positive and fatigue. And within just 4 days they charged close to 2+ lakhs and declared him dead, we are still recovering from this shock. I don't know about other departments of this hospital, it may be great but I am only giving my review about treating a covid patient.

1) There was no transparency maintained. They never allowed to talk to the patient. When there are no patient attender allowed inside the ward it should be the duty of the hospital to do a video call and show the patient. This is the way it has been followed in private hospitals in Bangalore, even when the patient is on ventilator they do a video call and allow the family members to have a look at the patient. This hospital completely blocked us from contacting the patient

2) Not sure they have well maintained ventilators. If that was the case there is no chance a patient could have succumb to death within just 4 days.

3) They never gave any updates on how much ltrs was the patient's oxygen consumption through cylinder and when exactly did they put him on ventilator.

4) Even on the day of death, even after requesting for so many times we never got a chance to talk with the treating doctor in person. All we wanted to know was what really happened and how could a patient die within just 4 days. The doctor said he will meet and sent some mediator/employee of the hospital and handed over the documents and left. There is a difference between a job and a service, here they just did their job and they will be paid salary for their work just like an IT guy. Its the duty/ethic of hospital/doctors to share such information, so that at least we can tell others what precautions to be taken so that they can act on time and save the life of their loved ones.

@Metrounited: I am also aware that there is no primary treatment for COVID and we cannot predict how the virus reacts in each patient. With great respect to all the doctors and hospital - it should be the duty of the hospital/doctors to be transparent and allow the family members to talk to the patient through video call so that the patient also gets some confidence to fight back and we never know that could be their last call. If required please get some suggestions from any hospitals from Bangalore like Fortis/Sakra how they are managing the patients and also connecting the patients with their families.

All OPD patients may have given 4-5 stars here.
But I will tell you the real truth in-Patient (IP)
1) Underqualified Nursing staff and Junior Doctors.
2) Senior doctors who treated my father wouldn't know what had actually happened.
3) They told the treatment is possible only in Bangalore. (MD doctors said this)
4) My dad had to travel in an OMNI van for MRI scan. No MRI was available.
5) One extra star for referring to a Good doctor within 2 days of treatment. (after coming to know that they cannot treat it)
6) Charges for Ambulance from Shimoga to Bangalore was fixed to 12k and I think it is too much and hospital shared the money.

Worst hospital they killed my father Dr madhusudhan and his team are gang of killers plz do not go this hospital under qualified staff like nurses & doctors degraded medical treatment and over hyped hospital charges patients exuberantly for normal treatment and never let patient to come out alive of the hospital
Please never go to this hospital
Dr madhusudhan and his Junior doctors should be banned from practicing medicine
