Very beautiful location n comfortable stay. The staff Chetan, Ashok are too friendly and good. I should mention Sachin who cooks highly competitive veg lunch with large veriety. Chetan took; s to a.nesrny waterfall and nature walk.enjoyed the beauty of nature. Place is absolutely clean and reate is very affordable. The owner called us often to enquire our safety n comfort. I recommend this place for sure.

Misty Mountains is the place you'd want to spend your weekend getaway at! The homestay is surrounded by a wonderful view of hills all around and is completely away from the hustle bustle of the city. The hospitality of the owner, Mr Nagraj and the staff, Chetan, Ashok and Sachin were commendable. The food was served fresh from time to time. All in all it was a wonderful and refreshing experience. Beautiful Stay

Chose Misty Mountains Homestay based on my friend's strong recommendation. It was a very beautiful stay right from the Checkin till the Checkout. From the host to the staff over here, all are very polite & very friendly. Food was very true to home style & snacks were equally good. Bonfire time with my family was memorable as we all talked our hearts out. Nature walk to a nearby meadow taken by Chethan was very refreshing with the beautiful sunset in the background.

This place will be our first priority whenever a Sakleshpur trip is planned in the future.

Such a lovely stay. With tasty homemade food. The hospitality was beyond words. They had campfire setting along with chicken tikkas which were soo yummy

Undoubtedly one of the best homestay experiences I have ever had. Food and and hospitality was top notch. And the location of this property is very beautiful and away from all the artificial sounds. I am really impressed, happy and apprecicate the hospitality by Chetan and team. Last but not the least, big thanks to Mr. Nagaraj for arranging such a beautiful homestay experience. He also kept in touch with us before and after the trip.

I have been here two times with my family. Both times awesome experience. Isolated location on the mountain, tasty food, friendly staffs, nice n cool weather, privileged feeling. What else one needs. Rooms are very basic types and no amenities on the premise but believe me you won't need more than what is available during your stay.
All time access to the kitchen to preapare food for your kids and milk/tea/coffee available as many times as you want. I discovered the place before 2 years, since then I and my relatives visit the place frequently.
I suggest everyone to visit once and see for youself.

It is not just the place that makes your stay heavenly and beautiful but also the people. The owner and Staff at Misty Mountains are very nice people, the hospitality is best in class. Very good ambience, nicely maintained.big fraaaland for kids to play around.we stayed in dormitory it was neat and tidy.food was also good.we went on evening walk to sunset point with caretaker Chetan and one of his colleague, both were very helpful.

Recommended place to stay in sakaleshpura.

A calm and serene place with very hospitable hosts!
We visited this place in Oct 2020. It was our first outing during the Covid pandemic. We were skeptical about holidaying at that time but badly needed one. After talking to several home stay owners we zeroed on on Misty Mountains based on our communication with Mr. Nagraju who patiently answered our queries and concerns.
The stay is tucked away amidst green hills, away from the hustle-bustle of the town. It is very safe for kids too. Our kids enjoyed roaming around on the green grass, playing with the lovely pets. The food was awesome. Bonfire in the night was an experience on its own! Overall we enjoyed the stay a lot!

As the name suggest, we have mist in early morning on top of the mountains which makes the location more beautiful

Great location on a hillock. The real feel of Malnad with awesome food. The stay is comfortable and don't miss soaking the morning sun and going for a walk around the property. Also have had most engulf the place everytime have stayed there

Beautiful place, mesmerizing vibe. The Caretaker was kind and the staff was very accommodating. Do visit the place to connect with nature.

I really don't understand why this place is so overhyped. The place is tooooo costly for what they have in package. Food is vegetarian and you need to pay extra for non veg. Rooms are too average and definitely not worth 2400 per day. We went just by enquiring without prior information. It took 2.5 hrs to clean the dormitory that has 5 beds in conjusted position. Our bad we didn't check the room before cleaning. It was a very conjusted dormitory with 5 beds and no place to keep the luggage. Dormitory was not worth more than 500 per head and for food and location you can add 500 more but definitely not worth more than that. The charge per head for that conjusted and stinky dormitory was 1800 per head with veg food that was very average, chapati, rice, one veggie, sambar and rasam. The campus is at height so view is superb but the rooms and food sucks. Wr went to Halemane Homestay near to this place and really enjoyed a lot.

Awesome Place. Awesome Food. Awesome People. Tranquility to the core. The owner Mr. Nagaraj is a very soft spoken and kindly person. Everything inside and outside the home stay is awesome. If you are going by car.please avoid hatchbacks. I went by my SUV though.

Go here in monsoon and you will fall in love with Western ghats. Perfect view, hosts, nearby nature walk. The interesting conversations by Chetan are highlights.

Nice place with terrific view. Food is Good with reasonable price.

Make sure you go with all needed things or snacks packed up because you will not be able to find anything near by.
Home stay people will take you to a nature walk through coffee estate and finally to view point which is very nice

Very picturesque place with misty mornings and mesmerizing sunset. Serene blue mountains on one side and lush green foliage on the other. Pet friendly with good food. Cordial staff too. Best escape place from maddening city life.

Best Weekend thing when you have small group of people around you. This place is lit. Food was amazing!

This place serves the best barbecue in town.calm place where you can enjoy some lively music hosted by a good guy named Mansoor.

My 8 yr kid, loved the greenlands to play on. Hated to checkout.

The most wonderful place to be in, to enjoy your weekend, have peace of mind and to enjoy the blazing showers of rain and with a mist of breeze. The hospitality is really excellent and food they serve is out of the world. All n all a really a great place to be in n have a looot of fun. I LOVED IT N WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING OUT FOR A FUN WEEKEND GETAWAY.

Food is great here. Unlimited car parking area. Place contains leeches. Please take care your children. There are no proper roads near to this. Don't come with car that has low ground clearance. I had some hitting in my Maruti Baleno here. I came here in July and it was raining continuously.it was full of mud and less traction. Place is serene but you cannot stay more than 2 days as you will be bored.

A lonely stay on top of a hillock. Do not visit during summer or spring. Rainy and winter seasons will make this vanish in the mist. Food is so so, but makes up for its location: peaceful and secluded.

Nice and relaxing place to stay with family. Food is pretty good and location is a plus for nature lovers

Great place to relax in wilderness. You have a large area for yourself with no one around. Rooms are clean and comfortable with no TV. Local cuisine is served with customisation if proactively communicated.
Mr. Nagraj is a great host who will call you proactively to check about your food preferences, any specific requirements.
Chetan and his team and the puppies were very nice.
Special mention for the food. Good spread for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Pros:

*Peaceful ambiance.
*Ideal place for taking rest.
*Food quality is super
*Well behaved staffs.
*4 supercute and friendly dogs.

Cons:
*I found the charge a bit higher.
*we asked for a rental car for side seeing. The car quality was worst and the driver took too much of extra money for showing us nothing. He was not at all ready to go to any place.
*the owner doesn't stay here. So people other than South Indians face a lot of struggle to communicate.

It was truly a pleasant and relaxing stay. We liked the location, arrangements and staff behaviour.

Good place. Very good people at property. We had wonderful experience at stay. Great hospitality. Rooms are generally clean. Mist, mountains, people, food, weather makes a perfect stay at this place. Chandri the helper lady at stay is a singing sensation. One must request her to sing and she is very good singer. Her daughter Sundri (Ankita) is a great dancer. She is a beautiful kid studying at a near by govt school who also happens to stay with Chandri her mother. Carry goodies for her because she is going to impress you with her dance moves.

A great place to have a peaceful weekend outing. Great hospitality, great food, and great ambience. Wonderful concept of marketing - Just referral links. The place is not available in any third party agents like Airbnb etc. You can only book through miskymoutains official website. They got a seperate homestay located ~200 mtrs away from main homestay, which is mostly best suited for bachelor's and College gang outings. They got a couple/family friendly rooms as well. Overall, a great place for a peaceful stress-free weekend wines.
