Nestled in the heart of Basavanagudi, this park is big, with lots of tall trees, neatly maintained walking trail of close to a km and ample parking space for 2 wheelers. It's also at a walkable distance from Southend metro. It's also close to many famous eating places in Basavanagudi.
The park has a well designed walking trail, huge ground for sports like cricket, football and badminton. It has two great sections for children. One is the playground with swings, slides and other setup for children. The second is a sand area where small children play with sand. It's a lovely place for children.
Another speciality of the place is the stage and a space for art events. Recently, there was workshop for kids for making toys with clay. And such events keep happening. Totally, it's an amazing place. Must visit.

The M N Krishna Rao Park, which hosts the Neralu Tree Festival every year, is one of those Bangalore parks that is an abode of lined-up trees supplying shade to various picnickers and stands out as a beautiful picnic spot in Bangalore. This park is home to a plethora of ancient trees that have breathed life into this place since they were saplings until they are mature enough to provide fresh air to the park's many visitors. Timing: 05.00am to 12.00pm and 03.00pm to 09.00pm. Entry Fee: Free.

It's a great place for walking. BUT THE PROBLEM IS THE PARK IS INFESTED BY MOSQUITOES. SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE AS PEOPLE COME THERE FOR FRESH AIR AND HEALTH. ALSO THEY BRING THEIR CHILDREN. IT POSES A LOT OF HEALTH ISSUES. NO ONE SEEMS TO BE LISTENING TO OUR PROBLEMS
Very good place for morning walk with bare foot. Walking track is made with cement tiles hence good for bare foot walk. Other Jim items available for exercise for young and old people.
This is large park in basavanagudi area.only lalbagh and cubbon park is bigger. Surrounded by trees and have good walking track. Children have their choice too with playing area and sand around. Overall a must visit for evening or morning walk.
This is big park where I usually go jogging. Each round is around 1km. Bike parking is ample enough even during peak hours. There is a play ground for kids. Some exercise sets for adults. It has bio toilets. Friendly crowd. A gud spot to relieve yourself from stress.
