I would have given negative review stars if possible. Service people are arrogant.
I asked normal water. He said normal water is not available. We have to buy bottled water. They force customers to buy their brand of bottle water.
I ordered items in Kannada. He says, he does not know kannada. I asked if anybody else is available who can take order in Kannada. He is said No flatly.
They expect us to speak their language and force us to buy water.
I told him, if he wants to continue his business he better learn Kannada.
If you decide to visit, do order in Kannada. Let him realise Kannada is important to learn as long he is in Karnataka.
They've changed staff since I came last and they've also raised the prices on the dishes. Maybe I'm biased, but the food now isn't as good as what it was like before.
Really nice place to hangout. It is located in the basement and is inconspicuous from outside. Less crowded during weekdays. Filled with beautiful paintings and quotes. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Really great menu. We tried Veg fried momos with chilli and mayo, gobi manchurian, honey chilli potato, iced coffee machiato and dry fruits shake. All were served in paper plates and biodegradable bowls (ದೊನ್ನೆ), which is a really good intiative. Momos and honey potato were really great. Gobi was a little salty. These were fairly priced. However, the milkshakes and coffee were not that great for the price. Service was great and quick.
Yes, D' Cafe in Dharwad! Was waiting since long to visit after their experience in Goa and Bangalore.
Was able to find the signature dishes in this menu as well.
Went for breakfast along with a friend and his family (good place for Kids), the first thing I ordered was the Palak Paneer sandwich (in Goa they used to make with Poe (Goan bread) but wanted to see the quality here in Dharwad, here comes the dish, this time bit bigger, took the first bite and yummy, this beat their own taste which I tried in Goa and Bangalore, when checked further got to know that this bun was custom made for them, crispy and soft, would definitely recommend this dish for all.
Along with this we ordered some fresh juices, fruit salad, poha, scrambled egg and at last the cutting chai
They have maintained the taste for which they had got the award from trip advisor in Goa.
Thought to try the Momos which they have started and already a hit, but my stomach was full, will definitely try next time in Dharwad, btw saw a lot of Zomato orders going out from the kitchen.
Going good guys, the courtesy and service of the staff is great.
D Cafe is famous for momo's and this Cafe is located near Yalakki shettar colony in Dharwad here this Cafe is peculiar to momo's they have many types of momo's too like steam momo fried momo and rice items, noodles, desarts and many more. They have veg and non-veg. This place is very nice and innovative its best place to chill and hangout they provide free wifi, Alexa service very good ambiance.
Once the combo was superb but this time I ordered chiken drumstick it wasn't good enough so as hakka noodles very tasteless less veggies please maintain the consistency
One of the best momo's I have had.new staff with new taste Whether it's steam or pan-fried all of them are equally good.value for the money Thank you so much D bro ️
The food quality has gone down. I used to visit this place every weekend few years back. I'm so disappointed with the way things have turned out with time.
For momo chef can bring some more taste with less stuffing. Either wise the food is quite good other than Hotels which are copying to bring Beijing back to India.
The place is totally changed after June, as it's been taken over by another person. N now the food is pretty delicious and the staff is friendly. If u have any issues there u can get in touch with its owner who is humble af. Menu and price has changed, so if u had been there before then u should reconsider visiting the place again.
Delicious lipsmacking momos. You will get the authentic flavour. They could however improve the quantity of chicken within the momo whoch was bit on the lesser side.
Place is small but you can get variety of Chinese food. If anyone is interested in Chinese food den they to visit here once and also rates are also very reasonable
The food is good but the batter or the coating of the chicken is too much and chicken pieces are small but the butter chilly garlic fried rice is amazing and momos are also ok I would say the restaurant is a little over priced
I have been going to this place for quite a few years. More than 90% of the time you assured to have a good time. Great noodles and other food items they have, friendly staff
