Long waiting time and pathetic parking.doctors are good but hospital management & staff need to be better

Our experience with the hospital and our OBGYN Dr.sangeeta goams are really good. And all the staff are gental and nice too

This is my first baby which got delivered in Motherhood Hospital.
Initially we were confused which hospital to choose.
But one of my family members suggested me to go for Dr. Archana Pathak.
Therefore, we chose Motherhood Sarjapur.
We stay near Electronic City and there is a Motherhood in Electronic City itself.
But because of Dr. Archana Pathak we choose Motherhood Sarjapur.

About Dr. Archana Pathak
-
She made us feel very comfortable while all visits.
She used to listen us very calmly and will give enough time to ask questions.
She never asked us to go for unnecessary tests and medicines to burn our money.
She never made us panic unnecessary by exaggerating some small problems.
She was our backbone in whole Pregnancy journey.
She was available to reach out on phone for any urgent queries.
I always wanted to go for Normal Delivery and she was very positive on this.
She used to encourage me in every visit to focus on health, so that Normal Delivery could be possible.
You can trust on her, she would suggest the best for you and your baby's health.

Minor Issues my body faced during Pregnancy:
-
During my pregnancy, I faced 2 issues:
1. Low Lying Placenta
-
I faced this this during 20th week.
Dr. Archana said not to worry at all. Suggested not to do any exercises.
Just give rest to your body and it would be fine in later weeks.
And the same happened. After completing 31 weeks when we went for test, there this Low lying placenta issue was resolved.
To be noted, i didn't take any medicines for this.

2. Borderline Amniotic fluid
-
It was 10.5. Dr. Archana suggested some powder sachets and this was also resolved at last weeks of pregnancy.

Day of Delivery (17 Sept 2023)
-
I started feeling active labor pain from 1: 00AM.
This pain will occur for 15-20 seconds and was happening in every 15 minutes.
From 1: 00AM to morning 9: 00 AM, i was frequently walking in my house.

We reached hospital around 10 AM.
Went to Daycare room at 4th floor where doctors did the required checkup.
I was found 1cm dilated and then was moved to Labor Room at 11: 30 AM.

We opted for Normal Delivery without any Inducing/Epidural medical help.
They were very professional and asked our permission before any injection/medication.

From 11: 30 am procedure started.
At 2: 00 PM, my water got broke.
At 2: 32 PM I was blessed with a baby girl.
Normal delivery was done by Dr. Archana Pathak and Dr. Mallika.
Thanks to them! Also, I would like to thank all the Nurses involved in Labor room.
Their effort is also commendable.

Room Experience
-
Room was good. We opted for Normal room as that is only considered for insurance.
Service by Nursing Staff and Housekeeping was very good.
Just press the button provided close to your bed and soon someone from their staff will be there to help you out.
There was regular cleaning of room.
Food used to come regularly at time.
Frequent visits of doctors were there.

Billing Experience
-
The Billing team on 2nd floor was good and supportive.
Here I would suggest you to spend sufficient time before discharge to understand and go through bills.
There were small discrepancies in our bill, which we highlighted to Mr. Sumer Ahmad & Madam Dakshayani. They acted on it quickly resolved it.
Thanks to Mr. Sumer Ahmad & Dakshayani for very smooth billing process!

So, Don't be in a hurry.
In case, if there is any mistake in bills, please highlight to them. They are ready to listen and solve it.

Also, here i would like to thank Mr. Madhukiran from Sales.
We took the Motherhood Package from him and was always available/reachable for any help.

Conclusion:

At the end, I would like to say that the Core heart of a hospital are doctors.
We chose Motherhood for Dr. Archana Pathak and today I can say that it was a good decision.

The experience with Dr. Deepmala & Dr. Suchismita Das at Motherhood hospital, Sarjapur was exceptional. Both of them are wonderful persons and excellent doctors. Each n every consultation that I had during my pregnancy was very interactive, They are helpful and always ready to answer all the questions, never in a hurry. During my stay at the hospital, they visited quite a number of times proactively, which shows the care they have for the patient. The hand holding both of them did during the whole journey was pleasant and meticulous. Both Dr. Deepmala and Dr. Suchismita are extremely positive and never made me feel worried at any point of time. I would highly recommend Dr. Deepmala as well as Dr. Suchismita Das in relation to pregnancy journey.

Felt best dr in sarjapur road.

Recently delivered a baby in motherhood, with worst experience. I got a bladder injury by doctors while c section, due to that i have to deal with so much extra pain.
All 3 days stay in hospital air conditioner never worked. Even on 30 degrees it was freezing cold in room, i could not turn on ac as it was not good for my baby. Maintenance people gave excuses all the time for ac, no one could rectify the issue. Food was really really bad, no food choice, same menu all the time, dry vegetables are same in lunch and dinner which is surprising. Taste was really bad and the last thing not worth at all with the money i paid. All maintenance work was going on top floor, i had to bare drilling noise all the 3 days.
Overall Worst experience ever, i ll never recommend this hospital to anyone.

We had a very good experience in Motherhood. Our child has issue and we had to keep him in ICU for 17 days. Got good help from every department.

Dr Lini Balakrishnan is such a gem of a doctor. She is super friendly with kids and is attentive to the problems. Highly recommended.

Admission & MRD charges for day care is 1100Rs even for day care and even bill is 10000rs, and food is not worth the money and kitchen is at worst condition,

We started consulting Dr Archana Pathak from third month of our pregnancy. She is the most humble and knowledgeable doctor i have ever met. First things first, this is review for Hospital and not the doctor. We are happy with the Doctor and way she handeled our case. The hospital has been a big disappointment for us, we thought going to motherhood would be a professional and smooth experience however it was nothing short of ordeal. These guys resort to anything to overcharge. First we were given a package where there we many things promised like pre baby phootoshoot and all that by making a part payment and we booked a photoshoot but our baby arrived early so the shoot never happened and they told us that it’s forefeited and will only get the baby shoot done post delivery. Apart from that they told us that New Baby screening is done for all babies and assured us we will give the report after 2 weeks. When we finally followed after 6 weeks they told us it’s never done and we have not taken sample. The height of unprofessionalism is that these guys told us that they will find out what happened and give us a call which never happened. I would suggest go to Motherhood at your own risk.

Don’t visit motherhood if any emergency to ur child and if ur visiting for first time they won’t even care at all. Worst experience with motherhood Sarjapur branch

I started consulting Dr. Archana Pathak Mam at Motherhood hospital after hearing good feedback from my friends. All in all, it was a wonderful journey of 9 months. It was like somebody was holding my hand and guiding me through 9 months and afterwards. She is very responsive and use to explain everything in detail. If I had any doubt, I just use to ping her on what's app and use to get response in timely manner.

During delivery, I was very nervous but doctor gave me confidence and I was successfully able to deliver. Post delivery also, her response was quite good and helped me to liaison well with pediatricians.

We had a good experience on my NT scan with Dr. Sathya Prasad. The doctor explained every aspects of this scan and we were very pleased with the way the doctor and his staff carried out the scan and shown us the baby movements.

My gynaecologist Dr. Archana Pathak has been extremely helpful right from the beginning of my consultation. She is very patient in listening to my queries and has explained each and every doubts that I had and has been very supportive throughout my pregnancy. She always asked our opinion first to proceed with normal delivery vs C - section. She clearly explained the various stages of labour and has constantly provided mental strength to me in delivering normally.
Though I could not bear the labour pain, Dr Archana Pathak respected our decision to go for C-section and successfully performed C-section. The doctor has been helpful post delivery and post discharge too.

Dr Ancy, the lactation consultant at Motherhood is very good at helping new mothers with all the challenges that come during the initial days of breastfeeding a newborn. She gives you all the guidance that is needed and constantly checks in to see if we are having any difficulties. I would highly recommend consulting her if anyone is facing issues with breastfeeding.

Had Pre and Post Delivery Consultation with Dr. Kumari Deepmala. She is the best and she keeps a check on every minute details and gives a lot of positive energy. She is very sweet and very approachable. She is always available online and offline for any clarifications or any medical help anytime of the day. I haven't seen such a professional yet passionate doctor who always gives so much care for all her patients health. The pre and post delivery care she provides is commendable. During my pregnancy she never prescribed any unwanted tests or medicines. We were worried about pregnancy and consulted many gynacs since I had a miscarriage before. I am a thyroid patient but she took care of everything so smoothly and we had our baby on Nov 6. But since my baby had some infection we had to extend our stay in hospital for a few more days. From day 1, she always used to come and check mine and my baby's health every 3 times a day besides her very busy schedule. I am extremely happy with all the services she provided and would highly recommend her.

Also to mention, can't thank enough Dr. Satya who helped us give a detailed information on the progress of our baby during all our scans. He is the best!

Motherhood is one of the best hospitals for maternity in the city equipped with state of the art facility and very experienced doctors. My wife Rukhsar Banu safely delivered a healthy baby girl under the careful monitoring of Dr. Deepmala.

We were initially consulting a gynecologist nearby my location but were not satisfied with her and decided to switch to Motherhood after listening to a very positive response from my colleague about the facility and doctors.

Our careful early decision paid us with a happy pregnancy even though there was a complication. Dr. Deepmala is a very experienced, caring and responsible Gynecologist and obstetrician. The very first day we met her, we felt that we were in safe hands. She took all the worries off from our minds by her caring words and she used to fill us with confidence. At end of 7th month my wife's AFI level went below minimum level and we were at the risk of early deilvery with baby weight below 2kg. But Dr. Deepmala helped us miraculously complete 8 months by continuous monitoring and treatment. Finally, my wife successfully delivered a healthy baby with 2.3kg in her 36th week.

We have been consulting Motherhood hospital Sarjapur road from past few years. So far its been pleasant experience in terms of quality of service and professionalism.

A request, it will be really helpful if you guys can waive off the parking charges for the patients who are opting for the delivery package.

Everything else is good at the hospital except the parking facilities. When you are charging so much, please have some better parking facility arranged. Last couple of visits have been so difficult and your valet parking guys returned my car with some scratches during the last visit. During COVID times, I don’t prefer to give to valet parking and neither your team allows to park the vehicle ourselves. On top of that very high parking charges. I’m going to reconsider visiting the hospital because of poor parking facilities.

One of the worst managed hospital in Bangalore.doctors are no doubt very efficient however the coordinator staffs like billing and other administrative staff are worst than a bunch of buffoons. Infact the a group of buffoons could have run the place much better.writing this review sitting at GYNAECOLOGY SCAN department on 2nd floor.advice to avoid this hospital.and karnataka health authority should put some effective regulation to prevent this kind of hospitals who is harassing the patients and looting money.

Receptionist is very poor. They have very less knowledge. I have visited more than 5 times so far and we end up meeting same receptionist in the billing counter. She has very poor knowledge and she takes hell lot of time for single billing. In last 5 months I don't see any progress from her. She has to always ask someone to bill a basic one, be it blood test or physiotherapy consulting. This is not expected from motherhood at least. Of course doctors are good.

Best hospital I have ever been to. Great doctors, great nurses and excellent support staff. Dr. Deepmala is excellent and handled my critical condition with such confidence and ease. Dr. Quazi Fazal Ali saved our premie baby and helped us bring our baby home. It would not have been possible if not for Motherhood hospital and the doctors and nurses here. NICU nurses are so competent and shower their love and affection on the newborn babies. They take utmost care of the babies which help the babies in recuperating faster. The hospital is very clean, the staff are very friendly and very helpful.

It's a great hospital. We've been to many hospitals and docotrs before. And we finally found the one that really understand our need. Doctor Prathiba and her team in IVF clinics are great and very helpful. They're helped us through all procedures and very professional. I booked an appointment here. But still no dr was available. I wasted my time going there and coming back. These people dont have value for time. I didnot get any message for appointment cancellation. After reaching there they told me. They noted down my wrong number and didnot message me. I had to waste time. Never prefer this hospital. 1. Few doctors are good. You need to find before going.
2. Walkin without appointment and pre appointment doesn't make much diff as they follow first in first out methodology
3. Medicine shop within sell on mrp rate, so if it's not urgent can buy online for almost 30% less.

The entire journey from conceiving till delivery and till post delivery was amazing and extremely comfortable at this hospital. Our doctor Mrs Deepmala was extremely patient and comforting and very good when it came to answering all our doubts related to pregnancy. Timely checkups and scans and regular tests and visits to the hospital ensured that our baby was in the best health. Even when my wife delivered almost a month early, the doctor ensured that everything went fine and there was no panic. All the nurses were like family during the delivery and post delivery phase, ensuring the best care was given during the process. Overall, the entire process was very smooth, right from conceiving till post delivery. The pediatrician Dr Nutan was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and suggested timely checkups to ensure our baby remains healthy. She was patient enough to answer all our queries satisfactorily.
Our experience with the affordplan people was amazing as well. They were right behind us in this journey of having a baby and they rightfully ensured that we are never concerned with the financial matters at the crucial time of delivery. We were absolutely thrilled with their service.
One only minor blip that we came across during the delivery process was when my wife was in labour and the baby heartbeat was going down a bit, the emergency doctor present on 7th September, 2018 was a little bit ignorant towards declining heartbeat. Later when dr Deepmala visited, it was found that the declining baby heartbeat was a concern because the baby's umbilical cord was getting stuck and chocking the baby while it was trying to come out and hence, the heartbeat was decreasing. Eventually, we went for C-SECTION delivery and everything went fine.

Overall, a very good and affordable experience

After 4 yrs of marriage and complications during pregnancy we were blessed with a healthy baby boy at motherhood sarjapur. Thanks to Doctor sangeetha gomes. Loved the service of the hospital staff. The nurses and doctors were very caring towards me and my baby. After delivery i was given variety of juices and healthy yummy food every few hours prescribed by the nutritionist. The rooms were neat and cleaned regularly. We visit the pediatrician too. Doctor lini balakrishnan clears all our doubts and this gives us confidence in parenting.

We found Dr prathiba.g very helpful and supportive during our whole treatment. The whole staff Kasthuri sister, Priya, lakshmi, nappinni are very helpful to us.
The whole staff of IVF Department seemed be very much aware about the each minute details of start to end process and an all of the support staff members under Dr.prathiba seemed very well coordinated
In some other hospital the support staff is so busy that they forget the patients and as patients you only have to ask for next steps.
Over we had very pleasant and highly satisfactory experience with care and support provided by Dr prathiba and team her support staff and the motherhood hospital.

The Infertility Department led by Dr. Pratibha G and Team is very well organised. Dr. Pratibha has lot of expierince in this field and with her knowledge n expertise she has made the infertility treatment processes such as iui, ivf, etc.very simple n stress free. The doctor and the support staff are courteous and prompt in response.

It was really great experience with Dr.prathiba and her team. Many thanks to her for supporting in all the treatments. She is very polite and good doctor I have ever seen. We can easily recommend her. Once again thank you to her and and her team.

I was in severe discomfort for a couple of days and was dreading a visit. I was egged on by the team to meet a gynaecologist at Motherhood Sarjapur. Dr. Deepmala was the best thing to happen to me! She has such a calm, pleasant and reassuring attitude that you automatically calm down. My 140 odd BP suddenly disappeared. When I explained the issue she explained why I should have changed the Morena in 5 years and offered to check the issue. She repateddly assured not to be tensed and in seconds said the displaced mirena was causing pain. She removed it and offered to reinsert it the next month. All done in 10 minutes.

A woman is known to overthink. The staff and doctors need to ensure she is taken care of emotionally before the physical ailment is treated. I have seen the positive change at Motherhood between last November to now. Kudos for making the difference.

Hospitality is good. Nursing staff were very polite and treatment and assessment of the problem by the doctor was very good. Happy with the hospital equipment, availability of doctors and nurses in case of emergency.

Overall experience from pregnancy to delivery was very good. I have been consulting Dr. Archana Pathak who was very helpful through out the journey. During the stay in hospital for delivery nurses, house keeping staff and all were kind.

Best hospital I have ever been, a special thanks to Dr.prathiba. She has lot of experience in this field as a doctor and support staff are courteous and prompt. I strongly recommend this hospital.

The whole management is a scam. Even after paying a lot of money saying "package, they demand extras for everything. The parents with no other option eventually fall prey to their money traps. The hospital is extremely unhygienic, there is dust everywhere, no hot water, food is pathetic, they let every visitor inside with no system in place disturbing everybody. They do photoshoot for new born babies and demand 10k for 10 soft copy photos. They have all sorts of money fleecing techniques in place. It's not worthy to be hospital.

One of the worst billing department in this industry. Very rude and unprofessional personnals take unnecessary time to clear simple cases.
If you are using insurance then be prepared to wait for 6-7 hrs. Columbia Asia and Manipal are much better.
