The review is for the clinc. Great clinic in heart of HSR. Great panel of doctors - most of the time there is rush.

Doc sits till 4 in evening. My pet was correctly diagnosed and treated. Super happy with the way it was handled.

Less parking space around - there is a separate seating area downstairs. Token system for walk-ins.

There is a full pet shop plus medicine shop in the main hall area. Good cleanliness around.

I did a 2 week Vet externship here, I learnt so much from Dr Nandini and the team. Everyone is so compassionate and don’t hesitate to help. They go out of their way to ensure the patient and owner get the best possible experience at the Vet Clinic. They offer so many services from ultrasound to echocardiography. I highly recommend them one of the best in Bangalore

My pet dog who was only 1.5 years old had abdominal pain. When we took her for the first time to this clinic, Doctor Kamran said she was totally normal and behaving this way because she had gastric problem. Even after that we asked them to take blood test and to do
scanning. Doctor was so ignorant that he replied there is no need to do blood test. We insisted and after blood test we figured out that her WBC was high. Doctor then suggested one antibiotic medicine.

After 3 days when she was still in pain when we took her again to the clinic and this time all the doctors said that she was behaving different because of pseudo pregnancy (there was no sign of pseudo pregnancy though). We insisted them again to do every kind of test and scanning on her.
After test her WBC was still high.
This time they gave her injection for infection and said if there will be any kind of infection in the body, it will cure infection.
Even after the injection she was still in pain and got very high fever.
The next morning my pet dog died.

In my experience all the doctors in this clinic had very less knowledge and experience. They didn't even understand what my pet was suffering from.
They ignored many symptoms we mentioned and said things like she was totally normal.
They asked us stupid questions and ignored what needed to do.
I believe if they could have diagnosed the actual problem in her body and not said stupid things like pseudo pregnancy, my pet would be with us today.
Never going to recommend this clinic to anybody.

Took a 3 days old kitten to them, as the kitten was very weak.

They dewormed it gave an antibiotic and in 1 hour the kitten died. Don't know it was post treatment or it was supposed to be so.

Dr Nitish Kallianpur Saved My Dog

Our 5-year-old male lab, Brody, was already having a tough time adjusting to our new home when he had two seizures in a span of 3 days. He had had similar episodes earlier but never had he been this weak and frail (at this point there was no diagnosis for anything). While the first vet we called to see him ruled indigestion, the second diagnosed epilepsy and started him on epilepsy treatment. We started the medication immediately. Though his seizures stopped, his overall condition deteriorated to the point that we thought we would lose him. Our small town in West Bengal has poor veterinary facilities and this second doctor visits only twice a month, sometimes less.

Asking to connect with Dr. Nitish was a desperate cry for help. My friend in Bangalore has two rescues and she takes both to Dr. Nitish. She swears by him and the clinic and always has great things to say about them. I contacted Dr. Nitish and explained the entire case history on Whatsapp. At that point I was expecting a general guidance only because who is this nice, right? He called in less than an hour and asked me to stop one of the medications that he suspected was draining Brody’s energy. He also urged that we do a blood test immediately. Within a day or two Brody started looking better and by then I had also arranged (with much difficulty) for his blood tests. Once I shared the report with the Doctor, he called me and explained that the reports showed signs of tick fever and that we should start antibiotics without delay.

Throughout this entire episode, I have whatsapped him several times with nervous queries and endless questions and he has always responded in the most professional and patient manner. At no point was I made to feel that I was disturbing him or asking too many questions (which I probably was). He also explained the limitation of treating remotely but by then I already knew Brody was in good hands.

It’s been a month since I started consulting him for my furry brother and Brody is fit now (touchwood). He is alert, active and back to his playful and needy self. I shudder to think what would have happened if I didn’t come across Dr. Nitish. I cannot be more grateful for what he has done for our family. Although it embarrasses me deeply, Dr. Nitish has not charged a dime and straightaway refused to take any consulting fee.

If you are a pet parent or a pet sibling (like me) in Bangalore area and are looking for a vet who will make sure your pet is well taken care of, you must see Dr. Nitish at the clinic. I have heard that all the doctors at the clinic are absolute angels. Good luck with your pet’s health. The doctors at the clinic know that your pets are your family, probably more.:)

Update (Aug 2023) - 4 years later, Dr Kallianpur does it again. Brody suffered from Babesia recently and it was a close call. Dr. Kallianpur guided us through his entire treatment which spanned weeks and months. Brody is doing much better now and I can only thank Dr Kallianpur. He must do this from the kindness of his heart, for his dedication to his profession and for the immense love for animals.

Our fur babies are lucky to have him around.

Worst for cats grooming, insensitive handling, almost cut my cat's nail so deep, it started bleeding.

Recently I contacted Dr Omkar, regarding my 2 yr old female cat who had an early abortion.
Even though it was late night he answered all the queries and next day my cat was treated snd Dr Omkar called me up for the follow up by himself.
The doctors at my pets choice are not just professional but are passionate about their work and are expertise at whatever is related to pets. Pets are safe with them.

Doctor Prabhu was a kind doctor. I took my 3.8 yrs old female pug. We went there for her hip x-ray and I thought of going for her blood test. The blood reports according to the doctor was indicating she might have Chronic Kidney Failure. They said to go for an ultrasound. And the reports said her both kidneys failed. But, till that time she was behaving normal. Soon they started the treatment and drips. Don't know after first drip and antibiotics treatment she became restless after we took her home. She started heavy breathing. The next day again we gave her fluids according to their advice but her situation became worst. She could not even stand on her feet. And next morning she passed away in the hospital. I don't understand how she died suddenly. Before taking her to hospital she was little dull and refusing to eat. But otherwise she was normal. I really don't understand! First two photos are of 31st January when we took her to hospital, she was walking normally.and on 2nd Feb morning she left us. Doctors said she bacame restless because of kidney failure. But, until the treatment started she was not so weak, restless and breathless. How could it happen in just 2 days? That she suddenly died. Because we went just for her hip X-ray. I wanted to check her blood reports so I did it. I don't know what went wrong with her, but I have lost my daughter.

Visited last week in emergency situation for my pet’s gynae issue & Dr. Omkar helped entire time to cure it. He was in constant touch even after his off duty until my pet got cure completely. His knowledge and way of explanation is just perfect.

Well maintained clinic. I took my cockatiel bird to the clinic when she was not well and consulted doctor Omkar. He diagnosed it well and gave her appropriate treatment. Doctor is very genuine and dedicated to his work. At the time of emergency we didn't hesitate to call him and he was there to help us out when he was off his duty.

I want to thank the folks here for making Walter's last days on this planet as comfortable as possible, thank you for trying your best to save his life. He was only just one year old, but unfortunately after a hernia surgery, Parvo got the best of him. Thank you, guys, for everything you did for him. Clinic twice, for my pet's health. If your pet is feeling ill, then I would highly recommend this clinic, as the doctors are very helpful and as per the condition they have given the best treatment for my dog. I really appreciate their honesty and commitment towards their work! And when it comes to visit veterinarian, I would suggest My Pet's Choice inorder to have better condition for your pet.

Great experience. Went there with my shih tzu for the delivery of her puppies and Dr. Omkar and the other doctors handled the entire situation very professionally. Dr. Omkar was also very helpful and available with any queries we had after the delivery. Very satisfied with their service. Definitely would recommend you to take your pet there.

Please do not visit this pet clinic if you are trying to save a rescued cat or dog. They were highly negligible and did bare minimum to save a kitten. Unfortunately the rescued kitten died due to their false treatment and sheer negligence just because it was a rescued kitten and not my pet.

Senior vets are good but the juniors are just there to practise what they have learnt. They use hardcore antibiotics and steroids on tiny pups that gives relief but screws up their development. I would rather go to some other vets than the ones here. Senior vets are mostly overloaded with many cases.
Also don't buy any dogs or cats from those attenders helping the vets and also the ones that are in that pet shop attached to the clinic.
They sell puppies from backyard breeders who have no knowledge or licence about what they are breeding and how. Inbred dogs are sold as pedigree with some KCI papers they are getting from some person. Bunch of money hungry crooks selling 30 day old puppies and kittens who have no immunity to fight any illness. Poor quality dogs sold in the name of pedigree. Beware!

The Vet is good but please avoid the spa. It’s not hygienic and really shoddy work. My Persian cat was not dried properly and later had lot of knots. The nails were not trimmed either.

Took my pet cockatiel here, he was sick and was not eating anything. The doctor (Dr. Omkar) prescribed medicines and gave him some treatment. From the second day itself, we could see improvement and he started to try to have the seeds. Now he is much better and eating well.

Dr Ansar is very genuine and a very well experienced vet. He has always given the best consultation in regards to my Rottweiler Oscar. The best vet you can take your pet too as he will always give you a honest advice.

I'm very happy to have found this clinic for my pet shitzu. Drs. Ansari, Nandini, Nitesh and Anu are very friendly. Even though I've 2 clinics very close to where I live, one is 5 minutes away, I go to My Pet's choice. The Doctors and helpers make me feel like my pet is the only pet and they don't over charge. One of the best pet hospital in Bangalore with highly qualified doctors. Dr. Nandini is an amazing doctor and a very good human being.
When ever I reached out to her she took a personal interest in my case and did her level best to help me and my furry kid. I have genuinely seen her concern for all pet that visits her clinic.
She has always been so responsive over calls and has given a treatment even in the middle of the night, which is rare to find!

Though I have moved out of India now however she is still my go-to person, I always take her opinion before consulting any local vet.

I’ve been to at least 5 supposedly good veterinary clinics across bangalore. So far this place is the best! They give you an honest evaluation, check things you didn’t think of & recommend medication with both higher and lower costing. The doctors pay attention to every patient & most time even remember their cases from before. They are not the best equipped for complicated cases. And they will even recommend other hospitals that have better or higher technology. I really like their honesty and commitment.

We took our kitten to this place on 12th July.
Her symptoms:
1. Fever - 104
2. Vomiting

We informed them the kitten is a stray and not vaccinated.

The Doctor prescribed medicines and said if the symptoms don't improve we will do the blood work.

The Next day her puking didn't stop and she was rejecting food and when we asked for the next steps, the doctor ran some blood work and confirmed she had Panleukopenia (this was done on basis of symptoms. Test was not done for the virus) and started treating the symptoms. Told the chances of survival were 50-50.

We lost our kitten on the 14th of July.

We understand the kitten was not vaccinated and the chances of survival was very less. Doctor was good she did the best treatment she could.

We are not doctors to decide the treatment plan. We trusted them with this and followed what was told. Our only complain is:
1. If she was a stray kitten and not vaccinated and if this virus is so common and deadly, to be on the safer side they could have ran the blood work on the same day we took her there (considering she had a high fever and she was puking).
2. We called the next day when our kitten was very uncomfortable and tossing and turning a lot, the doctor on phone suggested to admit her in the hospital so that she will get monitored and get care immediently when needed. If we had got this suggestion when they diagnosed her with panleukopenia, we would have immedietly admitted her.
3. When she puked on the table these guys told us to move her near the hole so that she can puke there. We had no issues at all doing that and cleaning her vomit, but given that the team there was already wearing the protective clothing they could have moved her and not treated her like she was untouchable.

Anyways the team did their best and our kitten did survive for 2 days with the treatment she got here. We are greatful for that.

We've been taking our cats to this clinic for 7 years now. Dr Nandini is possibly the best vet you could ever hope to get - she is so kind and compassionate towards our kitties and is such a great doctor overall!

Will get all kinds of foods for dogs and cat but the clinic service is not good. Took a kitten (2 months) for emergency the service was very worst, not given a proper treatment and no one is willing to check when it's emergency.

This is small sized hospital with a store for pets.doctors are very experienced and answer all questions related to our pets. Have been going here regularly for a year and half for my dog. They have a lab, OT and x-ray facilities for pets. Always ready to help with questions or emergencies. They come highly recommended by many pet owners and have always had a positive, hassle free experience with them

Excellent bunch of Vets led by Dr. Kamran. Each Competent, Kind, connected and highly ethical. I have been a pet parent for over 20 years in Bengaluru. One of the best in Bangalore. Very Busy practise but the wait is worth it. Once you come here with your pet you may not go back to your previous Vet. We have primarily visited for the Cats we have. Our 2 and our Children's 4. One of the Cats passed away last week after a surgery and efforts put in by the doctors and the assistants to try and save the pet was very touching to say the least. I am extremely thankful that we have such a wonderful clinic for pets in our neighbourhood.

Dr Kamran is superb - he is completely oriented towards helping his canine and other patients - noncommercial and a genuine doctor in intent and deed. He is also innovative in his approach and we have found him to be very effective on more than one occasion in treating our 10+ year old beagle

Vets are good, they listen to the problem faced by the pet, waiting hours can be longer during weekends. Con is that strong antibiotics are prescribed even for young pups /kittens with simple GI issues that completely hampers the gut health of the animal.
Another problem is that if you want to get scans, any particular test done other than xray or general blood test, then they don't have the facility for it.
Also, the staff handling pets (other than vets) also sell puppies if you enquire with them. Don't buy from these guys working as assistants to the vets.
The pups are sold really young (30 days or less) with screwed up immunity, buyer doesn't have access to the pups parents to see if they really are ethically bred or done by backyard breeders for quick buck.
Vets don't discourage this practice as well, so that is disheartening to see because they know that pups need to be with their mothers atleast for 50- 60 days for strong immunity and good behavioural skills.
It would have been good if the vets could also try holistic remedies along with antibiotics for certain health issue of pets

Can't praise enough the clinic and its approach towards our furry friends.

We have regularly brought our canine pal Simba here for checkups and Dr. Nitish has been a delight, giving us ample time and honest opinions with gentle suggestions for rectification of diet and supplements.

Attenders administer vaccine and write prescriptions. Before visiting this place I was not aware of this. This attender remarked "I never knew diarrhea looked like this".

Inexperienced attenders and highly unprofessional place for your pets
Date: 21 august 2021 afternoon.
I and my Indie rescued and adopted pet were welcomed by two people in a room where about 4 to 5 pets can be attended to at the same time on different tables. I was welcomed by two attenders, one male and one female, both wearing blue coats, asking me what is the problem with your pet. I went on a table where the female attendant (didn't seem to be a doctor, as you will get to know when you read.) I mentioned I have come for regular checkup and I also showed slightly bent leg that my dog has from birth. It became more noticeable from about a month as he showed some growth.
She suddenly went and called another attender/doctor in blue coat, who examined and informed me. We also talked about certain other issues for which he was already treated and recovered many months before. It was very difficult to even hear her in her mask and she didnt seem to be very confident in what she was telling.
I mentioned to her to check the dogs teeth and eyes. She mentioned if you are seing watery eyes it's ok.it's just side effect of the recovered virus. I insisted her to atleast see and check but she insisted that it's not needed, she did not even see or check the eyes for an infection. I discovered later from my regular vet that there was conjunctivitis for which now i have the drops for him.
She didn't even bothered to check the teeth until I insisted too much.
Then I asked her to give deworming tablet to him. She refused saying we don't give it here, I cant put in hid mouth, You can buy and give. You can inject the syrup using syringe. I refused the usage of syringe and then she said use whatever method you want. She looked irritated may be because I was asking her to give the tablet
Pls note she did not advise to have it at night or anything.
In this whole process I observed, she was hesitant to touch the dog, she never tried to hold him to check or anything else. Forget trying to make him friendly or comfortable to the place.
I then asked for clipping of nails, she called a helper boy to do it and went away. Unfortunately that helper guy did not know where to hold the dogs leg to control his paw for clipping. And when my dog moved the paw, he continued to clip and started hurting the dog and another boy came to help and the scene continued attempting to try to clip anything which could come hold off.that's when I lost and screamed. The lady attender/doc then started training him.
Highly untrained staff and attenders/doctors. It took them six people and 10 mins to clip nails, my dog is indie, lean, 8months and weighing 9kg and not too active or naughty.

I told them there and then that I would give a feedback, the response of the tall Rude male attender was - "you do it here only, and do whatever you can do. "
They did not take the consultation fee from me though i insisted. But this does not mean that I would not give a true feedback of the ordeal that I and my pet had to go through.

Unfortunately the vets have become a business with inexperienced and untrained staff, cater to many dogs at the same time in that noisy room where then you can't even hear what the attender or doctor is saying, the ladies attenders are too soft to be even heard, in their masks, very unconfident and uncomfortable of the pets around.
First and last visit to this place.
I am Happy with my other experienced regular vet, where the doctor himself attends and doesn't leave it to attenders. In 2 mins the nails get clipped by one attender and a doctor and the details provided are much reliable and confident and they check thoroughly. I was satisfied when I finally went to my regular vet right after this horrible visit to (NOT) my pet's choice.

They are good people. Treat you nicely and respectfully. They are warm with their behaviour. They don't loot you, like other places. They charge very reasonable price and never load you with uneccessary things.

Dr Nandini was very good. She has a lot of patience. The medicines she gave, literally cured fungal issue in body and ear, also eye infection within a week! I had been to two other doctors and my baby was never cured properly.

So highly recommended this place!

Our Labrador dog was here for an emergency. Entire team of doctors were excellent especially Dr Nandini's timely diagnosis and way of explaining things helped us a lot. Surgery and post surgery treatment was very nice. We highly recommend this place.

If you have a cat, take them somewhere else. They have more experience with dogs. For regular vaccines this place is fine. But for proper treatment not a good doctor for cats. She has no experience.

I had taken a stray cat which was paralyzed due to dog bites a few years ago. They explained things patiently and helped the cat gain back some energy. Then a few days ago I took another cat to them which was not eating anything due to dog bites and injuries. She recovered soon and started eating too. Prices are very reasonable. I wasn't charged any consultation as she was a stray cat. Highly recommend this place.

Professional service provided by the vets here. Very friendly and cooperative attitude. They also have a small store for pets supplies. Please plan accordingly on weekends and you can expect a long queue on those days.

Dr. Nitish and Dr. Nandhini became our superheroes to have restored faith in us that Ralph would recover. They are highly professional and knowledgeable doctors. They place service above anything else and their love for pets is visible in their selfless service. All doctors are very sweet and patient while explaining stuff to you. I have been taking my cats here for the last 3 years.

Such a down to earth guy! I would highly recommend Dr Ansar, who's so calm and he patiently examined our pet, Pluto. And prescribed us the medication, i hope he recovers soon. The clinic has all the facilities, medicines prescribed will be available there too. Thank you, Doctor. Last but not the least, his assistants helped a lot to carry our pet as some road constructions were going on.

All the doctors are very good. Helped me every single time, saved the life of my Stormy. Im very thankful to doctor Nandini and doctor Ansar and another doctor who stayed back even after thier working hours at night to treat her.

Best place for taking your vets if you're near HSR layout. They have good doctors that treat your pets with a lot of care and attention.

All the three doctors are experienced and very soft spoken, they are always available over phone when ever needed. Highly recommend Clinic!

All the three doctors here are very good. They patiently listen and address your concerns. Treatment costs are very nominal. Doctors seem genuine and concerned. Liked them. All my pets are taken here. Sometimes it gets crowded but waiting is worth it for quality of service.
Only suggestion, plz carry cash as online payments may not be accepted all the time. Rest they can take care of.

Very good vets. My cat had skin allergy and other bigger clinics could not cure him but these vets gave medicines which cured him completely.

It's uncommon for me to immediately review a place. Yet, here I am. The vet at this clinic is knowledgable and compassionate. Took my friend's Indi pup for her first visit to a vet and it went very well. I would definitely recommend this place to all pet owners.

The doctors are very good. Dr. Nandini is a great listener and advisor. I am going back to them only for my puppy. One star less is only for the fact that the waiting arrangement is not good.
