Edit: After reading other reviews I see a pattern here. PLEASE beware of this field executive called "G Nandeesh". He is arrogant and fraudulent in charging ridiculous amount.
I availed a 1 month rental service. At the end of the service, although I returned the car with very good maintenance, except for pet hair inside car (I knew pets were not allowed so asked them in the beginning and they agreed to let me carry pets if I returned the vehicle after wash, which I promptly did) and some minor scratches because of the pet; I was charged heftily at 9k for three other damages which was not caused by me.
1. When I took the car for rent, there were already 2 major damages on the car body and few minor damages. When I returned the car, the damages were said to have been made by me and they charged heftily for the same. I argued against it and finally asked them if I pay now and you get the parts repaired then why was the previous rental user allowed to return the car with his damages, which was not repaired before handing over to me - no reply. 2. Minor scratches on the car are not visible in the video taken by either the executive or me in the beginning. But they still argue the minor scratch damages are caused by me. I propose to go with Revv rental service, their policy is far better and friendly, they allow minor damages to go by which ofcourse happens as part of the car wear and tear. Revv executives even handle the video verification of the car before and after rental period by themselves which is more efficient. The MyChoize executive even argues about wear n tear of vehicle tyres. Come on? 3. The field executive even tries to find faults where there are none. I saw him scratching the car body to drop the damage cost on me. After scratching he argues that the damage is new and is hence caused by me. If i try to argue against it, he tries to find more faults to drop all the costs on me to shut me up. 4. Major damages which were there when I received the vehicle and tied to me are charged at 2.5k as the chassis needs to be replaced. At the same time minor scratches which are said to be done by my pet is charged at same 2.5k? Really? ! Is replacing a part the same as getting a new paint? 5. The final payment for settlement needs to be done to the executive who visits, on his private UPI? How is that legible? The ideal way is to receive the payment on the MyChoize app with proper billing and proofs.
The biggest fraud scam speedometer kms reading was increased bad condition of car actually my entire trip took 320 kms but in that speedometer I get 56 kms extra ist big scam in GST also wors experienc 28%gs is high of cost
Booked car and paid in full advance missed delivery asked for said they don't have vehicle for delivery under repair. Our full plan was spoiled and no apologies and no solution just went blank
Recently took a car from my choice car rental for 4 days trip.
First of all, the car you see on their website is totally different than the car you get, secondly if you are someone who loves driving you will be disappointed by the car provided by my choice.
The car we got was a base model of Nexon with almost everything damaged in it, trip meter was not working, viper was getting jammed, car was wobling, boot couldn't be open from outside, trip and set button were not working, air vents were broken, stearing wheel cover was broken. Steering wheel was tight, clutch and accelerator was also tight, so tight that I started feeling leg pain while driving which has never happened before.
The staff is rude and they don't even reply properly to something asked and they don't even understand basic English
They are fraud…they are looting form customers…all rules and regulations are on their side.they don’t even deserve one star. For fastag they want gst…. Another one is like for 1ml of fuel if it is less then we have to refuel it but if fuel is more they will not even refund…
Very worst company, they wil not give the refund amount soon, and they wil give some reason and deduct the amount so please friend don't go on with this fake company and get cheated
Worst experience. They loot your money and provide old cars. The engine was in a bad condition, AC was not working and even the tyres condition was so poor that we checked air level for thrice and finally we replaced the tyre. I was going with my family on a trip with my elderly parents it caused me so much of harassment. Please stop looting money of people and I will spread words about you everywhere and will never ever recommend anyone.
I will give only 1 star for car only, not to other things. Staff & service is very poor, i didn't liked at all. We booked the car for one day, Early morning @ 5 30 we booked & went to receive the car to their office, at the time wen we reached, nobody was there. We waited for half n hour, then they came n checked our documents n gave us the car. The evening @ 8 pm we went to return the car, one person took the car for test ride n came back after half n hour. We have to catch a bus @ 9 pm to Kerala in Shanti Shanti nagar bus terminal & We r waiting for that person to return, it's already 8 30. Then he came n went somewhere. And then another person told us to leave. Their is no sitting arrangement at all in there office, rediculas, we decided to not to book from here again
Terrible Experience with Self-Drive Rental Company-
My experience with Self-Drive Rental Company was an absolute nightmare. The customer service was rude and unhelpful. The rental location was disorganized and chaotic. The car I received was in terrible condition, with scratches, dents, stains, and an unpleasant odor. I booked a pick up and drop facility that was 20 days with advance payment, i was forced to visit their centre to pick up a car (16km). Finally, no car was provided with what I booked for.
Had rented for a day. Driven about 26 KM, consuming about 4 liters of Diesel. Gas guzzler! Of course it had run in excess of a 100,000 KM, what else can you expect. These people appear to be low level operators. Quite expensive. Make sure you return the car clean and spotless, they could charge a hefty Rs 1000 or more to just vacuum the seats. Will never use mychoize again.
Recently, I hired a self drive car from mychoize Bangalore. I was informed that insurance is covered during enquiry but during the return the customer executive said it wont be unless I have a complaint copy. On asking him that he could have informed me on this when he delivered the vehicle, he started talking very rudely and started blaming me. He wasn't even reachable when I tried to contact him after the incident. Even though I was ready to pay the charges and has asked him to keep the customers informed on such things going forward his response was customer should know all these things and he cant do anything. Never had come across such bad customer executive with such behaviour.
With this I have lost all the trust on mychoize and feel like this is a scam to not give back the deposit.
They expect you to know everything not take any responsibility to give proper infos to the customer.
They are doing. Fraud there is no proper response.for small dent they are asking 15-20 k and the call center dont help. G nandeesh making fraud dont book car from here you will be paying 30 % tax in toll 20-30 k more on small small yhing even for scratch they ask full replacement and ask for whole money
The car that was provided to me was in a bed bad shape. The clutch was getting stuck, and the gear box was too. At second gear the car kept stopping! And then when it was time to use the headlights, the high beam barely worked (worse than a torchlight) and the low light was even worse! Overall, it was a very bad experience.
Worst service, received a car with multiple dent and scratches.and they are expecting us to drive that on the road. I did it that too, let the public know what type of cars we get from mychoize.i never book again. Teach ur staff to be polite and dnt give false promises. Eventually you will loose customer if the quality of the cars are not good. Pick up was bad, clutch was hard, no music system, but u charged 15k. Disappointed.
There was heavy deduction on my deposit amount, which was not explained at time of renting car. Also, it took multiple calls and around 1.5 months to get my deposit back. I will never take their service again nor do I recommend it!
MyChoize self drive is not at all customer friendly company. The try to cheat customer by false damage charges, as they don't want to return the security money. Also the staff is very rude.
Beware of this person. He will tell u there is smell in car and hold 2000 As penalty. I repeat this is a scam company. Do not ever book a car from them. And especially be aware of this person and another executive called Mr Hemanth. These cheap people are rowdy’s (mr hemanth gowda) will go to any extent to hold the deposit amount. The car I got was nexon and probably the worst car I’ve ever driven, the wheel alignment was so bad, that I would have crashed twice during cornering. Had to get it done myself for which they promised a refund, but never got back. They don’t even clean the car and give but hold cleaning charges when returned.
I've been using their services since 2017, usually at Chennai. This is my first visit to their Bangalore branch. My go to choice for self drive rentals, always.
We had taken rental car from bangalore mychozie office. After 40 km from the pickup point on Mysore road and car brokedown. We tried to call the customer care and tha sos number but we got no response from them. It was middle of the night and i was travelling with ny family with 3 ladies in the car. I never expected such a pathetic response from the so called king of rental cars.
I have returned the car after getting it fix by a local mechanic with the help of patrolinh team at 4.30 am. They didnt provide any support over there they said please leave the car nearest service center and you can go at your risk
