It is a good place to stay in this location, it has a small water flowing stream within their property, you can play cricket, basketball and volleyball in water also they provide food and snacks that is also good. The staff were also quite supportive, overall it is a good property to stay.

A great place to stay! They have a stream that is such a beautiful spot to chill and be surrounded by nature. They have dogs that don't disturb at all and overall they are a great host. Only thing is beds are really hard and could be improved but overall a great place to be at:)

This homestay is in mid of coffee plantations and hills some 18 km from chikmagalur. Road are well build in this area No problem reaching there even in heavy rain. Farm house is well build while keeping its natural theme. Hosts are super cool and very helpful. Food is homely and tasty.

For the budget homestay, it's more than what we expected.
Location was great with nearby stream and cute and friendly doggos, for was good, tasty and hygienic (don't order chips in the evening snacks). Homemade wine was cheery on top, clean room and beds with all toiletries. Owner know a few hidden gems in the area you can visit and save yourself from some trouble.

Worst homestay in mallandur. If you want to eat dog's hair in your food in all three meals, please do visit this pathetic place. Owner Nayan and his son are so arrogant to even accept that it's a problem. So be ready to get bitten by the bed bugs in room and have some delicious dog and human hairs in thier homely cooked food. Hope this will help you get a comfortable stay. Excuse me for the sarcasm!

Amazing location. Very very warm hosts. They are soooo amazing and take care of everyone and everything so well. Home cooked food is just yumm.

Will find in Chikmagalur. They have beautiful cottage along riverside. Their South Indian, home cooked meals are amazing. I visited the place along with my two dogs and they were love with it as soon as they entered. The couple, Nayan and his wife, is doing an amazing job. Thanks for making our stay memorable. We will surely visit you guys soon for a longer stay.

The place is well kept, with quite a bit of views to see within, the campfire is good and the staff are humble, and is worth a visit for family and friends of both big and small numbers.
The only downside would be the lack of variety in food and the cost of food asked if one is to order something to be made.

The place sucks. The owner was very u courteous and abusive. Charges even for a bonfire with tons of free wood bought from the forest. Don't visit here. Not worth Ed it

So we visited this place on 24th October. First day it was super fine the place is amazing and hospitality was so good.we thought this is just the place we wanted to relax in Dussera festive time.

WHICH WAS A BIG MISTAKE.
The issue started next day, we came back from our sight seeing at the afternoon when it was raining already.was just about to get out of the car and the caretaker Nayan anna and the child started asking us to shift to another cabin which was across a lane but in the same property. Now we went there for 3 nights.we unpacked everything in our room.everything was scattered.we told them we can't and we prefer the cottage we took because before visiting there we were shown cottage 1 and it's interior.we liked that and booked.but still they kept on nagging until 8 pm at night because some other people have also booked and the host messed up the booking schedule.we finally denied to move to a different cottage in rain.

On the final day was a big surprise. We rented a car from Bangalore.so the driver told he will stay in the car itself for 3 days because it's usual. He just used the bathroom for bath and toilet purposes. For bath out of 3 days in that cold he did not even get hot water 1 day.still the greedy caretaker was asking half the amount we were paying for our stay from the driver because he used the bathroom for bath and toilet purposes.
He already paid separately for his meals.apart from that they need money for the driver who stayed in his car for 3 days just because he used the washroom.

They shouted like hell and the driver had to pay 1k from his own pocket apart from the meals that he took. The behavior of the caretaker was so cheap I can't describe. The owner Sagar stays in Bangalore. I don't know for what reason he was also not able to manage the situation, he over the phone told me.to pay him just 1k for the driver and leave.

When the property is this beautiful these greedy caretakers being so cheap bound customers to write these type of reviews. Feel bad for Sagar the owner.but will neither visit nor recommend anybody to visit this place. Especially if you are taking a driver with you.

Good place. This place is in mid of the nature, Internet facility was provided. The dinner food was homely and they provide both veg and non veg. The owner is also very friendly. They are building a mud volley ball court and small river flows inside the premises. View from the home stay is also good. The rooms & washrooms are well maintained. So no need to worry when Someone is planning to go with their family. And if you want anything specific in food, you can inform the owner in advance so he tries to prepare.
But the only problem with this home stay is, it’s quite far from the city and also the prime locations of chikkamagalur.

ಸ್ಥಳ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಪೆಸಿಲಿಟಿ ಹೇಳೋದು ಒಂದು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋದ್ರೆ ಏನೂ ಕೊಡಲ್ಲ. ಡ್ರೈವರ್ ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಟ್ರೀಟ್ ಅಂತೂ ತುಂಬಾ ವರ್ಸ್ಟ್. ಪೈರ್ ಹಾಕೋಕು ಸಪ್ರೇಟ್ ಚಾರ್ಜ್. ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಒಂದೋದ್ರೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ವಾಪಸ್ ಎಂದೂ ಬರಲ್ಲ.

The place is in between thick woods and hills. The Food is homely and amazing. Especially the rasam during dinner and tomato rice in breakfast. The place is not made for groups who want to enjoy loud music in the night as the owners home is right next to the rooms and they sleep by 10 PM (if you want to party till late night, this place is not for you). Also this place has four villas which can occupy upto 9 people per villa, and only one fire camp with 10 seats for all the four villas. So for groups or couple who want to spend a night in privacy this might not be possible.

A “ok ok” kind of homestay for travel groups (30+ members) they have 4 cabins with one cabin having 11 beds. Some beds are above bathroom. Clean place, but still lack of facilities. Good campfire area, food is homemade and good, though some people didn’t like that much in our group.
Area is quite but not made for couples or smaller groups less than 8 peoples.
Owner can arrange jeeps for travel and person to show to ukkada waterfalls and shouting point which is quite good and worth.
Cons:
1. Main problem is less no of washrooms
2.3 cabins are not having water hitter/greaser so need to wait until caretaker starts his water hitter.
3. Far from attraction places in this area, needs to do more to and fro travel which is time consuming.

One of the best Home Stay in Chikkamangalore. Rooms are clean and neat, maintained very well. They serve tasty food and also will arrange site seeing as per your request. Overall it was very pleasant stay in Nagarane Homestay and Last but not least owner of the Home stay is very friendly and provide all the necessary information about the place and feel you make comfortable in stay.

Satisfactory experience! Visited this place couple of days back as recommended by one of my friend, hospitality of this people was great, authentic home made food they cook both veg & non-veg, and must visit place for chicken lovers as they cook tasty food, couple friendly, nice place to hangout with friends and family, they have nice pets, home made wine available, campfire, romantic climate, they treat you as a family and you feel worth for the money you pay, overall it’s a must visit place!

Excellent homestay with good food and clean rooms. Hospitality is great. Big property with aminities like volleyball court and music deck. Its very suitable if you go in a group as one room accommodates 7 people.

One of the finest homestay in chikmagalur. This homestay is surrounded by coffee estate. One main thing I like about this homestay is they have a waterfalls inside the homestay that too it's a natural waterfalls:) If you love dogs, you can play with them they have german shepard <3. They have basketball court, volleyball court. The owner receives everyone with his pleasing smile. Authentic homemade food, even the spices are also homemade. They will ask what type of food we need based on that they will prepare and give. Whenever you ask tea/coffee, they will prepare freshly and it will be served to you. Room is well maintained and I like their architecture. Inside the home they have a ladder on top of the home two people can sleep with different experience.

This homestay is perfect for bachelors/ big group of people where they can have their joyful time. I bet you can't resist this place.
