Awesome view through the misty clouds with the sorrounding hills, villages underneath. One can take a walk around the hill to visit temples, source of rivers, flowers & fauna etc,

Juts beware of monkeys by the side of cafeteria & places as they just snatch everything out of ones hands to fill their hunger.

An awesome experience to visit nandi hills in early morning. Reach there by 5-5: 30 AM as per season. Mesmerize sunrise and lots of cloud is playing with you.

People should visit this place. It was a very nice experience and the view was awesome. It felt like we were standing on the cloud.

Though we couldn't see sunrise at Nandi hill because of delay due to heavy traffic and Police inefficiency there was a huge traffic jam. Avoid going on Sunday to see sun rise.

Excellent place. Beautiful views from hill top. Restaurant available. Washroom also available. A must visit for people visiting Bengaluru. Approx 1500 M altitude.

Nandi Hills is the best place to visit and watch the sunrise or sunset if you are in bangalore. Usually a little crouded during weekends.

Connecting roads are in good condition.
The entry ticket counter is at the entrance of the parking area.
A lot of eateries are on the connecting road, and a cafeteria is on top of the hill.

The Trek is pretty small, almost negligible. There are multiple picnic spots on the way towards the top. There is also a hotel of state tourism. The views from the top are mesmerising. The food is also satisfactory.
- Beware of Monkey thieves.
- Carry water
- The road can have huge jam during weekends
- There are multiple hair pin bends, so experienced driving needed
- Restrooms available at the top

I have taken the steps route to reach the sunrise point. Unfortunately due to clouds, I was unable to see the sunrise. The entire route was amazing and enjoyed every moment by passing through clouds. Cool breeze throughout the journey made my experience great. It's definitely worth visiting the nandi hills for quick 3-4 hours detour. You have ample car parking and options to eat at the hilltop

A well known place in banglore, it's recommended to visit during weekdays rather than weekends because it's teeming with people during Saturday's and sundays

It's as amazing as we hear about it whenever we come to Bangalore. I have been there many times, but this time I went in the evening which was the best thing about it because it looks amazing in the evening as well.

The Nandi hills road is blocked due the road on renovation prograss. So I think it may take a month time to get it done. So plan better and try to visit the place everyone.

One of the best sunrise view point near Bangalore. But it best to come before 6. Some time you will miss sunrise because of fog.

Very beautiful place, serene and beautiful. You need to visit early to see the beauty of clouds passing through you and the sun coming up. At this point the entire city is visible. There is small mountain temples also which adds spiritual vibes to this place.

Best place for small trip and from Bangalore lot of people come here to visit.
If ur going by car u can go till the top for parking.
If ur in bike u should stop ur vehicle in downside parking and walkway till the top it would be 2km till top.
But u can't notice because the excitement will be der.
Visiting early morning is the best option to to see the clouds, sunrise.
While going to the top their are so many places u can see. Like temple, Tippu Sultan drop, some mounaments, old buildings.

Beware of monkeys.
Their will be food stalls available in the top.
Big temple is their near sunpoint so u can do Pooja and all.

Amazing view. Have been there on 16th August 21, unfortunately due to clouds we were not able to view the sunrise.

But the fog was not less to any ooty or kodai. Breathe taking views, amazing experience. Also kstdc has started bus services to sunrise view point in case its difficult for you to walk at 30/- or 50/- per person. You may also book a stay at sunrise view point kstdc website hotel mayura nandi hills (little expensive for the stay provided)

I highly request please dont visit now in the month of ongoing September 2021. There is some road construction is going on, due to damaged road. In 19 September 2021, we have planned to visit Nandi hill but halfway comeback. Disappointed

Lovely drizzling weather.it's great place for couples to visit near by Bangalore. It's pleaseant feeling. What else you would expect to start a day with lovely sunrise. I would suggest to go by bike to feel the real vibes of traveling and smoky coulds passing on your head.

Very nice scenic and historic place near Bangalore. The food options up there are pathetic, carry your own food if your planning to stay there for long. Also beware of your things around the gangs of monkeys there.

Due to Rock fall and damaged roads. Route is closed for 2 months now only option is to trek till the peak.
Overall good place for long drives and hangouts
All amenities are available like petrol stations, Resorts, Hotels to stay and ofcourse all provisional stores.
So no need to worry and carry anything while travelling

Near to city

Want to experience the ocean of clouds and blend with nature then Nandi hills is the best point. Visit early in the morning around 6-7am to have best experience.quite chilly with low temperature so be sure to pack stuffs to keep u warm. Reasonable entry price with many monuments and sunrise view point to enjoy.

What more can you ask from nature. Great place, breathtaking scenery and I would recommend to start early by 4: 00 am so that you witness what it means to be in lap of nature.

Famous place for Bangalorians to a quick weekend trip, as its around 70km from the city. Mainly youngsters goes there for seeing sunrise and sunset above ocean of clouds. Nice place to visit during November to February. It's a little bit cold in these times, but you must plan your visit in these times only, otherwise you might not be able to see any clouds. Road to the hilltop is well maintained.

It's a Beautiful place to visit but should go there before 0600 hrs. Climate is very pleasing and refreshing.due to thick fog didn't actually see the sunrise.

Nandi hills is located about 70 km from bangalore city. Situated at a height of 4851 feet above sea level, this ancient hill fortress is an idyllic escape from the daily city life. This place is too much crowded on weekends and other holidays. Try to reach there at least 30 minutes before sunrise like around 5.30am. You can capture scenaries, best clicks.
