An over hyped hotel. On the way to Nandi hills, that's the only pro point. Food quality and taste is average. There are better restaurants serving tastier food across Bengaluru. Since there are so many customers coming on weekends, there is a waiting time to get in, get the order taken, serve food and even for giving the bill
South indian food is good. However we ordered North indian food, paneer and naan. It was average. Since we were hungry we ate everything. Note they serve north indian only after 7pm.
I have stopped by Nandi Upachar many times for morning breakfast while driving to our native place, Anantapur. Located just after Devanahalli town.this is ideal stop for hot hot Idli dipped in Sambar as breakfast. The place is spacious enough for both self-service standing type as well as sitting and eating - table service type for breakfast. There is also a counter for sweet n hot snacks. I tried soft Mysore pak delicacy. The service is courteous. Ample car parking with a security guard to look over. There are other breakfast and lunch/ dinner menu also.
Not even worth for one star. Bad quality food, price too high for this quality. They are not even bothered. Will advice to go to a smaller restaurant rather than going to Nandi upachar.
Although the restaurant is famous as it was 1 of the first ones to come up on this highway, they have maintained the quality of the food quite well so far. Being a compulsory pitstop for people who go on long drives, it has plenty to offer from point of variety availability. Noteworthy point is the quantity they provide for the amount they charge, which is better than most highway side restaurants. Rest assured, a safe place to visit with your family.
Has emerged as an excellent stop over if you are headed towards Hyderabad, Nandi Hills, Chikkaballapur etc, after Hebbal / Yelahanka. Ample parking and great food and service. Due to the pandemic we ate at the Darshini style - so we did not sit, but excellent dosa and coffee. Pre pandemic visits have been for lunch as well and they do a good job with North Indian cuisine as well.
Updated review (Sep 2021) - the prices are significantly high for the staple breakfasts - maybe to overcome some of the lean period but quality also has to keep up.
Food was good. Billing is chaotic. Zero to Safety protocols.
Covid safety protocol left to dustbin Non working hand sanitizer. No ventilation at all.
Customers are found talking loudly without wearing masks. No oversight on customers defying covid appropriate behaviour. It's ok to lose customers that dont respect lives of fellow citizens.
Being a closed area makes this space highly infectious and a super spreader.
Management should take all steps to prevent any third wave.it will, otherwise, lead to loss of livelihood and lives.a collateral damage
Very nyc place for eating on banglore-Hyderabad highway and two types of restaurant for people one sitting one with high rate of food when sitting and standing one is good for eating less money than sitting one
The place was not crowded when we stopped for a lunch here on our way from Bangalore to Hyderabad. It was being santized with spray guns and all safety measures were taken. I ordered a South Indian thali as I was little over hungry expecting I could fill my tummy with some good food but to my surprise the meals were limited meals with only a small bowl of rice and multiple curries and dal. I was shocked to know that no extra rice will be given when they are charging so huge amount for the meal. However taste wise food was kind of ok ok but if the quantity can be increased or made little unlimited for the same price, it would be really be the best option for PPL who travel long distances from Bangalore.
Clean, tasty home cooked food, excellent service. But the only thing is not sure if management pays salary for the staff. They will be behind for the tips. Visited on Saturday and after bill they only ask us if they can add tips, while swiping the card. If we say yes, they will be polite enter tips and hold machine to enter password and hand over the printout. Again on Sunday visited the same place, this time I said no to tips.that's it, they entered the amount and dropped the machine on table and went off. No print out nothing. Management, if not paying them please pay or ask they to behave properly with customer. Tips is what we pay, not they demand
South Indian and north indian thali available even at around 4 pm. Ice creams, drinks, chocolates are also there.ample parking space. Wash rooms are very neatly maintained. Good spot for relaxing after tiresome journeys.biryanis are there too.
The food service is very bad as we waited for 15 mins for dosa and simple and easy dishes, I cook that in 5 mins and my good would still be better. The food was adequate and not that tasty. We had breakfast for seven people and the bill was quite expensive for just breakfast and we didn't order a lot to. They could impove there services and can add a lot more on the texture of the food
Visited on the way back from Mandi Hills. This place is apparently popular pit stop for Bikers and Drivers heading north from Bangalore. I could spot exotic Bikes. Had Breakfast. A good place to stretch and eat as a stopover, if you are starting early from Bangalore and are going to Nandi Hills or Andhra. A good place for Breakfast. Did not truly lunch or Dinner. Dharshini type (self service and service are both available.
Food was good with quality and quantity. 3 stars because when we ordered for fruit salad, he gave us cut fruits and argues when questioned. Also once ordered it cannot be cancelled, that's bad
It is a very nice Hotel for vegetarian food. Quite spacious, both self service and service on table is available. The cost is very reasonable, nice ambience. The taste of food is great
A popular break fast place on NH 44 as the location is perfect timing for travelers starting from Bangalore to Hyderabad side. Conveniently located on left side of the NH and just at starting of Nandi hills road. Menu is mostly made of South Indian items and limited. But guess the pricing is premium and more than what it deserves.
Nandi upachar located near devanahalli is nice hotel where veg food is served. It has very neat ambience abd and very clean rest rooms. It's a very good place to visit with family, particularly when u have ladies with u. The food includes south indian and north indian. The food was very nice. You can easily recommend to other also. I recommend this
This place used to be good. Quantity and quality have both gone downhill steadily. A colleague ordered onion dosa, they gave onion uttapam and kept insisisting that is Onion dosa.
Its was awesome. Where any one can suggest to which is worth for ur money and Where i got healthy food with more than a level of taste. Shefs and waiter and nyc attitude.shefs are the best.
