Good food, Good service and most important it is a lot cheaper prices compared to any food outlet in the Bangalore Airport. Prices have increased a little bit compared to the prices given in the menu section of reviews. It is a bit outside the terminal area, it is at the end of BMTC bus stop at the airport. It is worth the 3 to 5 minutes extra walk to save good amount of money instead of eating in the terminal where food is very costly. You get quality food here. South Indian food is good here.
If you are famished and burdened by overpricing at airports, this place can give u good relief. Most food they offer is fresh and good. South Indian varieties are extremely good. This place is expensive, but less than airports. Dosa, bisibele bath are really good. Rawa idly is exceptionally good. Since chutney is good food seems tasty.
If you don't have airport lounge access and want to eat something in a budget then this is the place. Food tastes so everytime. Butter Masala dosa is a must try. Near ksrtc bus stand. Have your food and then go for your flight or to bangalore city.
I feel this place is not for travellers at all if you are looking for a good at minimal cost at the airport you are at nandi upachar next to the BMTC bus stand. This place is awkward where the cashier asks for identity card before you order because this place is only for staff oriented where they get a special discount where travellers need to pay a lot sum in the fast food. The place lacks hygiene safety where they have to push a lot to reach the standards of the airport. Some staff are polite but we can find more arrogant people itself. Taste is not so good and minimal quantity served. They do have digital payments.
Wonderful south indian food spot on Bangalore airport. They serve almost all south indian snacks i.e. Dosa, baath (rice), idli, vada, bonda. The food was delicious, the dining area and kitchen was very clean. The restaurant staff made sure about hygiene standards every couple of minutes. The portion size is adequate and the prices are quite reasonable. Definitely recommend to try good south indian food while you are on the go.
This is one of the recently opened restaurant at Kempegowda international airport, Bangalore. It is little away from crowd and relatively cheap. The food was good and tasty. The ambience is good. Seating arrangements, hand wash facilities are adequate.
Starting from Hyderabad until this stop, right before you enter into Bangalore city, it has all you need. It could have been better if we can have something similar in between Hyderabad and Bangalore since it is very busy highway. The food is very good and always fresh. Prices are a little on a higher side but its worth the wait. Please dont forget to try the paan outside (right at the entrance) for 20 Rs only.
The food was actually pretty good here. A plate of Idli Vada (3 idlies and 1 vada served with chutney and sambhar) and one coffee for 4 persons each was about ₹600. This is expensive, but cheaper than whatever you would get inside the terminal building. Drinking water was also available for free and overall, the place was hygienic. Seating wasn't exactly indoor, we can call it a semi outdoor seating.
A must stop when you are at the airport. The dosas and the coffee is a must have. Easy to get a place to sit. Very nice place to sit as well, can sit there for however long you’d like to, there no pressure in getting up, but be rest assured if you will sit there for longer you will long for more of that lovely filter coffee. Slightly priced but cheaper than the other options available in and around the airport.
Bit costly as compared to other branch, but again it is acceptable because it is in Airport. As per the cost, the quantity of the food is very less. Overall it is good place to have snackes in Airport.
Absolutely unprofessional, they take payment and tell us to wait for 15mts. When catching a flight they expect us to wait! When item is not ready why do they bill?
Both the biller and person serving the order are rude.
It's the cheap and best option for meals and proper "Khana" near the airport. If you don't want to have burgers and expensive coffees then this is a good spot. It's self service. The food tastes average, the quality you can expect from a 3 star restaurant (for comparison).
Nandhi Upachar is at Bangalore international airport, near the Bus stop People who do not want to spend more at airport can use this Restaurant for best food at good price, open butter masala dosa is yum at this place.people working at airport gets 30% off on their bill.
Good variety and acceptable prices for airport restaurants. MASALA Dosa has a different type (more coarser) of powdered masala in it (different than regular/mysore masala dosa). Tea & coffee both are must haves after a stomach full meal.
One of the nest place for foodie People really enjoys food here Well located place in Bangalore highway You’ll get all varieties of food here but only vegetarians Well infrastructured with all necessities Parking place is sufficient There is bakery, sweet shops and also pan mahal inside the hotel Overall one of the best place to have food
Just across the Parking / Bus terminus of BIA. Good option if looking for regular Indian food. 3 star, reason the menu is very limited option. Getting seating place is an issue during rush hours. And if rains then very hard to stay dry if not getting seating inner side! If you alone then even keeping luggage trolley in distance while collecting food coupon could be a concern.
This restaurant is located at the end of the bus and Ola taxi stands. Food quality is very good, and so too the service. The menu is large, ranging from South Indian snacks to North Indian rotis, naans and vegetarian gravies to noodles! So there’s something for the entire family. As it was our first visit to this place, we were a bit apprehensive and hence ordered only jeera rice, dal and tea, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the preparations. Availability of quality food at reasonable prices at airports is very essential. Most airports tend to have exorbitantly priced food, and consequently slow moving items. Air travel is no longer a transport only for the classes, it’s also a means of transport for the masses. Hope Nandi Upachar with it’s fast moving, reasonably priced, good quality and tasty food will succeed, and similar outlets can be made available at other airports too.
Good service and fairly average as many other "sagar" restaurants. But being at the airport they should consider to provide better cleanliness and hygiene facilities. Also from cooking point of view, they reuse burnt oil while deep frying. Maybe they should do this lesser.a point to consider
Worst place to eat. Food are not at all hygenic. I ordered dosa. It was too oily and over cooked. Its better to bring food from home rather than eating such kind of food.
Its moderate place to have your quick bites. Taste is good but service is bit slow. Tea coffee is served with unique traditional way & taste. Hygiene is so so gentleman trying hard but service boy don't mind to swap used unsed glasses without any hesitation. I think at airport one can't expect more.
This is a restaurant with a menu catering standard classic South Indian dishes. The dishes served include two varieties of meals, standard dosa variants, idly and vada, fruit juices, coffee and tea, bottled water variants and other items. The taste of the dishes are excellent. The quantities served are just sufficient. The service quality and service speed is appreciable. The seating arrangements are pleasing. Last but not the least it appears clean and hygienic. It's worth a visit as it is both affordable and handy.
Good vegetarian restaurant at Bangalore airport. This is located at the opposite side of departure gates. Prices are bit expensive, but food taste is good.
This is currently one of the affordable place to have food in airport. At the same, its good and hygienic also. Consider that the amount of rent these people pay, its still affordable
Pathetic experience. I took rava idli and it has a lot of small size stones. I reported to the counter but the guy ignored and continued serving other customers.
Please avoid this joint. So bad quality and taste, better either you eat from roadside or if you can afford from any joints near the arrival departure gates. I had one coffee, full.of sugar so so bad.and one onion dosa.because I was hungry had it, but had a tough time not to vomit
Reasonably priced basic eatery, open 24 hrs. Fast service, spicy local good, hygienic food. Open seating so open to weather vagaries. Next to local Airport ac bus parking on right side of arrival exit
We can have stomachfull food with less price. It is near to the way to Taj. Little away from other food courts of airport. The restaurant is attached to a bakery. It too affordable.love it. Happy Journey.
Horrible place just outside the airport. The workers who work here are just the angry workers from a village. They do not know how to talk to customers. They are the most uncivilized of all persons.
I ordered an idly and a vada and a plate of pooris. I gave the token to the one who gives the orders. He have me the idly and vada. He did not have the decency to tell me at that time that the pooris will take time.
I had my idly and vada and went to ask for the pooris. He said it will still take 10 minutes. I had to complain to the Manager to inform him about it. The person got angry and told me that you have to wait. I said I already ate my dish and I have to still wait for another 10 minutes. This is the height of unkindness.
Such kind of workers should not be allowed to work in such a place. They are only persons who create a bad reputation of any business.
