One of the best restaurants in the area. You have a separate AC section and this restaurant is really close to the Mangaladevi Temple. I visited here a few times and the service and the food quality was good.
Rest rooms have to be improved as there is no mirror and no exhaust fans.
Had breakfast in the family-AC hall. Wonderful experience, healthy. Orders are customisable. Friendly waiters. Waiting time is not as much as majority of the hotels.
It's very nice place to visit n have food with family, kids friendly also we had dosa items chats and cocktails it's very super in taste and clean area plenty of parking
Writing this review on my 4th visit to the restaurant and if i have to pick one word to describe the restaurant i would say "Inconsistent"
Pani Puri and Vada Paav are staples of this restaurant and they do a pretty good Job. However, the rest of the items were not so tasty. Ordered the Tawa Pulav as it was good the last time around but to our surprise, it was bland and edible at best. Other dishes followed a similar pattern of Hit or Miss
Service is good. However, the waiting staff had to refer to the floor managers regarding the availability of a few items. It is expected that the waiting staff should know all the info related to items
Would I visit again - Yes for the Vada paav and the Pani Puri. But for other items? I guess we just have to roll the dice and hope for a Hit!
The worst thing about this restaurant is the fans. There are no ceiling fans nor AC. There are these wall mounted table fan which isn't great and the place is hot. Podis are average. Banana podi is made with maida, chilli podi are very small chillies. Pav baji's baji isn't very authentic. Its spicy and good but not great and it costs 100rs which is too much for pav baji. Filter coffee is not bad and is always less sweet (which is how coffee should be).
Went to Navami restaurant this morning for breakfast and was impressed about the ambience of the restaurant. Ordered Poori bhaji from the very minimal options available at the time. Poori was freshly prepared and served but along with chutney and bhaji they also served fried worm in the plate. When informed the waiter and the manager about the same, they seemed to be least bothered about the same and were talking to themselves about the worms being present in the Wheat flour. They did not even apologize about the issue.
Very disappointed about the experience. I have seen their inaugration video in which the owner was boasting about the quality of food they ll be serving to the customers. Sir I request you to please provide quality food to the customers and appoint responsible staff who can prevent such issues from happening in the future or at least handle such matters in a responsible way.
Not bad at all. The south Indian meals were good. It doesn't make you ridiculously full so I'm guessing they don't dump soda in the food. Worth it. Also service was prompt and good. Again, worth it if you need a veg meal in that part of town.
Things I liked - pav bhaji, vada pav, sukha bhel, pav bhaji shots. Samosa is live. Its fun to sit at the tables outside and enjoy the food along with the evening view and breeze.
Nice ambience and quality food. Yet, side dishes for some food like North Indian Thali etc, are served just warm, not hot. Taste of side dishes too is not on a par with similar dishes ordered as separate items.
Last week i visited ths restaurant for lunch.lot of crowd was there in Ac section. Waiter vinaya managed the situation nd handled the Customer's very well.vry clean nd polite service.food is not that good enough as the restaurant looks.gve 4 stars only for waiter vinayas hard work.
Fantastic veg North Indian specially Punjabi food in Mangalore. Food taste was very nice specially the Yellow Dal tadka. We had ordered Jira Rice, Butter Cheese Garlic Nan, Butter Garlic Nan, Butter roti, Paneer Kadai, Paneer Lababdar, Sweet lime soda during our 2 day visit and both time it was lunch. We also had Panipuri in the evening which was amazing, sevpuri and bhelpuri was not at all worth eating. We can ignore that considering the other items were upto the mark. Service was amazing by the lady managing the Family A/C room section. She was quick and very polite.
This restaurant is our locality and we r regular customer I would say its one of the best veg restaurants in Mangalore. Variety of options, clean and professionally managed. Prices also very reasonable and we love this restaurant.
Served me spoilt food on my second visit. They apologized and didn't charge me for that order but the food was stinking and still the waiter told me that's what the masala is supposed to smell like. Very bad experience.
A very good restaurant for all the vegetarian food lovers. I was fortunate enough to get Bombay style Vada paav with a taste of it, almost at par. They do serve other vegetarian dishes with equal zeal.
Visited on the first week of opening, Food quality was okay but waiting time was too much and service was poor Now visited again after a month, service improved. Tried pavbhaji, vadapav, gobi manchurian, tandoori babycorn. Manchurian was bland but chats vadapav was good!
