Where to start I'm a highly myopic person who didn't know where to go for my surgery, I was only aware of lasik and felt I was not eligible for it. Then Nethradhama gave me the best path to be confident about my surgery, every step is well planned in this hospital. They'll test your eyes, scan and then suggest you, which is best suitable for you. Dr. Sheetal has done ICL eye surgery for me and it's been 10 days, i started seeing clearly on the day of surgery itself and the clarity is building day by day, for anyone who is unaware, whom and what to trust just go with Nethradhama. Counselling is also done pre and post surgery for any difficulties you face. Insurance facilities are also available. To those people who have no hopes on surgery hang in there you really can remove those specs:) happy recovery

I am a retired employee and got my Right Eye operated in 1st week of August 2022. Very satisfied with over all procedure and hence getting my other eye operated next week. The Medical facilities and capabilities of the medical staff & surgeon are par excellence. The medical staff checks and cross checks all medical conditions. Finally, the Surgeon himself met all the patients and again went into the entire medical history. The cataract counsellors explain every aspect of surgery and never force for costly lenses and procedures. In fact they advised that indian lenses and normal PHACO procedure, which is lowest in price, are sufficient enough for very good post operative eye sight. Some improvement in coordination between the departments will further enhance the customer delight.

Worst hospital, from 2019 I'm visiting this hospital but still my problem is not solved, but when ever I go they loot my money but, results Nil, they are not able to find out my problem, they ask me to meditate and they will give Soha and bepose eye drops that's it, don't go and waste your money

Wish there were zero stars for hospitals. Do Not Recommend this place at all. Doctors, staff behaviour is worse than that of government hospital.

My wife underwent the SMILE XTRA procedure and everything went pretty smoothly. We were initially apprehensive of undergoing such a surgery for correcting power, but Dr. Sheetal explained everything in detail and really boosted our confidence. Her tremendous experience handling hundreds of such procedures was very evident and put us at ease. Thanks to the doctor and the entire surgery team.

All the doctors are kind at this hospital, office staff are also well behaved and decent, ambience is clean and neat

We are customers of this hospital but even for the patient if you are not having a proper mask they ask us to buy the mask for Rs. 20 for a Rs. 2 mask.
This is a least facility they can provide and at least not make money. They want to make 10 times money even for the mask.
Is this that low that hospitals can get.

I'm pretty much sure that our comments doesn't matter to hospital management but I want others to look for other option after reading this. This is the reality and writing this based on my bitter experience only.

I went for normal checkup during 1st week of Feb, yes you heard it right normal check up after dust fell into eyes couple of days back. 1st visit 500/- (whaaaaat: -o) fill patient details in their portal and pay 500/- on spot. Money money and only money.
Next comes eye checkup.wow, person who does test says all good no problem to vision after that he'll say may be after 40 yrs you might have to ware glass while reading. How do you say that man! Is it based on survey or AI? BTW did anyone ask from when will have to ware glass? Who wants to know what happens after 40 years? Anything can happen in next few months no one knows. We are living in present and talk about that that's more than enough.
Next comes doctor Dr. Shibi Dev yes its DR. SHIBI DEV for main check up. HOD of some college, boss your degree is just waste if you don't know how to talk to patient. Don't scare patient, people are already scares to death because of Covid.
He will ask you to sit in one corner and ask one simple question what happened, you tell what happened rest he will only tell, you see stars and lighting, when you close eyes correct? I said NO. Then did some test asked to see here and there. Well, he said all fine but tomorrow you come for retina scan, wrote couple more scan. Why on the earth you want patient to do that test when you said all fine in first place.

Looks like it is fixed, for one patient all these tests are mandatory, everyone should undergo test and pay thousands of rupees for it.

KARMA IS WATCHING YOU BE CAREFULL.

Again, these comments doesn't matter to hospital or to Dr. Ganesh. But might help other patient who can look for better option than Nethradhama.

One of the best hospitals for eye consultation / treatment. Got my Lasik eye treatment done and it was smooth. Staff is quite co-operative and especially Dr. Savio, who performed the surgery. He is very receptive and exercises patience while addressing the issues. One of the best doctors I've met.

Worst and coc, ky receptionists, even when Ganesh sir himself asked us to see him next the receptionists flatly refused and told to take an appointment 2-3 days prior, like seriously who are they when the director himself has agreed to see? Someone needs to train these uneducated goons at the reception.

I had been the this hospital after friends referred but my experience is like i have been cheated. I met Dr. Ganesh who asked for all preliminary test to be conducted at the hospital and confirmed that i will get rid of my glasses for approximately 10 years. I had +1 number on my right eye. First i was suggested to undergo the lasik for 40k then they later told another kind of surgery is more appropriate which will cost 80k then later i was told around 1 lakh. I did not want to compromise with my eyes so agreed as per their suggestion.

Six month after surgery i was unable to read the newspaper visited the hospital after 1 year from my surgery date met Dr. Ganesh again he suggested another surgery to correct the problem but also told if second surgery is done there will be a growth in my eye after about a year.

Now anyone who reads about my experience tell me what should you believe. The doctor? The expenses Surgery? Getting rid of the glasses?

The hospital is in the heart of the city, very well maintained, very well organized, with ample parking space. From the staff at reception to the staff who guide patients thoroughly make the whole process smooth.naturally wen the crowd is more it does take time, it's the same with any hospital.

The doctors r top notch, they dont advice surgery unless needed. Dr Sri Ganesh, the head of the hospital is very down to earth n personally sees patients n operates on them. I hav got lasik done n my parents got cataract surgery done here. Throughout the procedure a very kind hearted nurse held my hand so that I dont get scared

The entire process from consultation, to tests, to guiding regarding surgery, personal counselling for post op care is top notch. They tel u wat to do and wat not to do very clearly in ur vernacular language so that post op care is smooth. They hav insurance coverage n will even return the money the next day if ur insurance has covered the full amount

I read reviews regarding waiting time, n going to different rooms for testing. That's because each room has specialized advanced equipments like one room to check eye pressure one room to check vision, one to check cornea likewise. Wat ever is required for u, u will be sent to those rooms. Which is a very good organized way.

I have done fellowship in contact lens from Nethradhama (Jayanagar), I had a wonderful clinical and academic experience from both faculties and teachers. Nethradhama have the advanced ophthalmic instruments and fecilities to improve our knowledge and skills.

Excellent place get your eyes checked. The clinic strictly follows Covid-19 prevention protocol. All seats, equipment are sanitized before the next patient comes in.

This has been one of the best eye hospitals that I have across till date. Excellent in services n Doctors have very cooperatine n very amiable in response n certainly imparts a positive impression mentally which generates a natural inclination to visit this hospital time n again.

Worst eye hospital and worst management only one (patient) is allowed inside.some patient will forget what the doctor say and when they put drops on eye for testing eye will be blurr for 5 hours.how they can
move from one place to other for testing.if anything happens will they take responsible. In human rights I read it's clearly mentioned that with patient one attender should be allow in hospital for consultation.

I got ReLEx Smile procedure (type of refractive surgery) done Jan 2021 and was extremely pleased with the way everything was handled. The staff are super organized and follow a thorough protocols. I visited to consult if I qualify for a laser-based correction first. After a few hours of tests, I was explained different options I have and the advantages/disadvantages etc. I was scheduled for surgery the next day. Few more pre-surgery tests and then after exactly 6 mins of actual surgery time, I was done. Dr Savio was my surgeon and he made the whole process very smooth and relaxing.

Excellent service! It's been over a month I got my ICL surgery done there. In fact, initially I was hesitant about ICL. But now thanks to it, my vision is perfect and I feel super great about not wearing glasses or lenses again. Seriously they need to be a little more friendly with patients

For every flimsy reason they were extract at least 500 rupees for consultation and each doctor will refer to the other doctor

They will quickly size you up and start charging you accordingly.

This is a renowned and well equipped hospital inside, but lack of space for parking for patients. There is absolutely no parking in the basement neither is there parking facility outside nor space anywhere in lanes. This is highly inconvenient.

One of the best eye speciality hospitals in bangalore. Doctors are excellent and have high levels of patience in dealing with patients. The entire experience speaks volumes of high customer oriented services. They have a speciality hospital available in the next building.

This review is about the new hospital building. The consultation process is simple and streamlined. The receptionists, staffs, attenders, doctors, all are very friendly and approachable. Even though it is crowded most of the time, there are no cutsies. Wait time is generally 40 -50 mins during peak hours. First floor has pharmacy as well as opticals. Second floor has lab. Consultation charges are nominal (there was no fees for follow ups). I consulted Dr Namitha Anagol who is vastly experienced and friendly. Recovery was 90% in a week's time. The timings are 9am - 9pm MON-SAT & 9am- 1pm on Sundays.

I got SMILE Extra surgery done on Nov 22nd 2018. Initially I went for a general check up in Rajajinagar branch, they suggested for Lasik surgery if interested go n contact counsellors. I contacted them, they explained the cost and many other things and informed first you need to do pentacam scan. First they informed me SMILE suits you, there is a discount going on next week we will give you slot. My friends informed me they will do 4 to 5 scans before surgery I asked regarding that, only pentacam is done, no other scan is done, they told we will done on surgery day informed me to pay advance, I paid 30k advance, later they told that you need to go to Jayanagar branch for surgery.

On Nov 22nd prepared my self, took one week vacation and went to jaynagar branch with my parents. Later they did remaining scans and Dr sheetal informed me that my eye doesn’t support SMILE I should go for SMILE extra. I felt bad, they could have done this check up properly before and scheduled my surgery I didn’t rush.those counsellors rushed up. Later anyhow I have prepared that today is my surgery, I can’t go back to my office stating it got cancelled. It looks so weird they think what type of hospital they didn’t do these checks up earlier and also I paid advance 30K, in the receipt it was written in caps no refunds. Later I decided to do my surgery on the same day paid 1.4L without any discount. Next day follow up check up then told me to come after 1 month. After 1 month when I visited my one eye was not proper they told still haze is there as we did smile extra, you come after 3 months.

Later again I consulted Dr Sheetal, and she suggested me some vitamin tablet and few drops for one months and told me to visit again. Same issue no improvement. Every month started visiting till 10 months no progress. My one eye was proper.one more when I compare it was blurred. When they tried to check the power of one eye it was not taking any power, but the words what I see what blurred and a double image I will get. Every time same answer after one month u come and get it check. Sheetal gave me the example of US. In US they will allow to drive for this sight also and might be you have internal issue. I had nothing internal issues. I used to leave my classes n go every month for check up for 50 kms up n down I used to travel by cab, consultation fees and wait time one day returning back with same answer. Use to feel bad.

If I start listing down I have very bad experience in this hospital. After 10 months of roaming to the jaynagar branch spending every time approx. 1.5 to 2k.thought of meeting Dr Ganesh once and inform him how worst I felt regarding your hospital service. I struggled a lot for his appointment. As sheetal did my surgery they were not ready to give me Dr Sri Ganesh appointment, they use to say his appointment is 1k you know…as if I was not paying I have already spent so much with so much of struggle and argument with receptionist I took his appointment. My main intension was complain about his hospital, obviously I knew he don’t accept the mistakes and he explained same thing. Don’t compare your eyes ignore your one eye, your one more eye is better than the normal person they told and even he gave US example, in US person can drive if you have power like this. I told him everything. After 10 months of roaming to this hospital he told, my eye will be like this it will not get recovered.
I personally don’t suggest this hospital to anyone, money minded hospital. I knew not everyone will experience the same, my experience was this literally suffered for 10 months very badly. After 11 months now I following their rules ignore one eye, don’t compare I am doing that, no other way. Money is gone time is gone. Just follow what they told. Sometimes my eyes get blurred that made me to write review comments. I don’t feel like go to this hospital and do general check up.

If Eye doesn't support surgery inform them earlier, we will be happy with our specs.

Considering the options this is the best we have. The registration staff are the worst, they take your appointment by phone and when you turn up they say you need to wait 1 hour. Defeats the purpose of making an appointment. The registration staff also asked me medical questions to which I asked them if they have medical training, then they switched back to being registration staff! Also there is a long process before you meet the doctor. During this time all the trainee doctors get a chance to try out what they learned in medical school. Would be good if this process can be cut out. By the time you meet the doctor several folks have poked and prodded you. Very tedious.
