Decent Food, But Needs Improvement

I recently visited New Sagar Fast Food and Family Restaurant located in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru. While the overall experience was decent, there were a couple of aspects that could use some improvement.

Firstly, the sambhar served at this restaurant was disappointingly salty. It overpowered the taste of the dish and left me craving for a more balanced flavor. I believe they should pay closer attention to the seasoning to ensure a better dining experience.

Additionally, there was a bit of waiting involved during my visit. The service was not as prompt as expected, and it took longer than usual to get our food. It would be great if the restaurant could work on reducing the waiting time and ensuring a smoother and more efficient service.

On the positive side, the overall quality of the food was decent, and the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, which added to the positive aspects of the visit.

In conclusion, New Sagar Fast Food and Family Restaurant has potential, but there are areas that need improvement, particularly in terms of the sambhar's saltiness and the waiting time. I hope they take this feedback constructively and make the necessary adjustments to enhance the dining experience for their customers.

The food standard has been maintained for many years.

Had arranged the function at this place in the first floor party hall. Party Hall at 1st floor is a non air conditioned hall with a seating capacity for 100 people (max). If required for more number of people (at least 150 seating capacity) then there is another bigger party hall at 2nd floor in the same building. Dining hall is separate and adjacent to the party hall in 1st floor with the maximum occupancy of 40 people at once. They offer various food menu at different price points. Food is also good and pricing for food (including party hall) is also reasonable. There is no lift/Elevator facility to go to the party hall. Entry and exit are only through stairs. Dressing room/Changing room in the 1st floor party hall is small (with max occupancy for 2 people) and has no ventilation or fan in it.

Nice place but the service for takeaways is a little late you'll have to wait a good 15 mins aft ordering a gravy or so

This is a good eatout, however recently the management has changed, the top A/c hall has been converted to a party dining hall, no more available for the walk-in public. The food quality is definitely not as good as it was a year back. Even otherwise the hotel is a foot visit.

The food is really good but the service is not that good as there are limited waiters.w need to wait longer to get food.

Masala puri was really really sad, no onions no tomatoes. It was like they gave us left overs. Service is super slow.

Other than set dosa nothing is good, poor hygiene and if you go for service on first floor it is totally junk. They are not interested to serve at all. Fraud in billing also, they add extra items to bill. It should be renamed as 'New Sagar Slow Junk Food'.

I have been coming to this place for over 20 years. I have seen over 3 renovations and hundreds of chefs. The taste of food at this place has not changed at all. Everytime in come to town, i always try masala dosa, fried rice and their sambar. The food is at very reasonable price and very affordable. The recent renovation looks very good clean and a place to sitdown is a very good idea. I would recommend this place.

Food taste is good. I ate north Indian meals more than 7 times ther is no change in a taste.excellent

Very bad experience for dinner at service section. No salad provided, soups were not available, not even new Sagar spl soup available. Plates r ugly. Worst ever experience at this hotel during dinner time in service section.

Nice place if you are a foodie. Menu for snack items are great, reasonable pricing and quality is also good. 1 star less because few of the staffs doesn't seem to care much on hygiene factor and customer can notice that evidently

I had palav. Worst it was. Too much of clove n cinnamon. This place is usually bad. It was raining and I was hungry, that's y I went.

Food is good, but the place has gone to the dogs. Sofas are dirty. AC does not work. Sink is not clean. A real pity.

We had visited for a party Hall. The food can been better for the price they are charging. Hall was decent enough for a small parties having 50-120 people.

Great value for money proposition. Set in a great location, hygienic and well maintained. Also has fine dining option upstairs.

It's congested, without much to even stand

We have been going to this place for years. But of late the quality and quantity has really fallen down.the attitude of the people is really bad, especially the waiter in the service hall - extremely arrogant - has the "take it or leave it" attitude. Bad and arrogant attitude does not justified because the prices are lesser. Even the cleanliness in service hall is aweful. Will not visit again after today's bad experience.

Most of the menu items were not available. You have to select items from which the bearer gives you the choices. Quality of rice item was not good. Service is horrible.

Good place.
The place serves decently good food and the place is filled with people almost all the time.
Most of the college students come here to eat during lunch break.
There is self service on the ground floor and table service on the first floor.
