Must visit place in Vijaynagar. Orderd set dosa and idly vada. It tasted so good and hot also bonda soup, chats like sev puri all available and are extremely good.

Too good. Loved the paneer butter masala and naan. Overall, other dishes were also yum. Great service as well! Must visit!

However, during 2nd visit. Didn't get the same taste and feel compared to the initial visit.

This place serves authentic vegetarian dishes. Fan of this place. U can try anything in here, like anything. Right from hot beverages to their chats and to their main courses. They re just wow in everything. And the place is well located. You can visit everyday, the place so pocket friendly as well. I personally suggest u to try main course. And personal suggestions include pav bhaji, sev puri. They make it so yum.

Typical friendly neighborhood South Indian food joint. But very average by Bengaluru standard

I am very happy with the Service and staff. I had organized my son’s 6th Birthday here at New Shanti Sagar Express and all my guests were happy with the food and service.

I am thankful to the management to give us the extra time to complete our function.

One of the worst place. They say one menu and give less than that menu for the functions. They don't give bill. They don't take gst. They take only cash. Cheating government

The food is good here n it's a family restaurant n destination is quite near by n u can try northindian n south Indian both r tasty especially Jain n nonjain.

Fried rice was worst here and it is also expensive compared with others.taste is not at all good please don't try ever in vijaynagar new shanthi sagar

This restaurant serves tasty food at affordable prices for more than 10years now, till I see same old staffs which shows their quality and taste never changed even after 10years

Not worth for money, non hygiene place
Some time you can see the guest visits of cockroaches be careful. And if you want some cool breeze (AC) you have to pay 10 -15 rupees extra for each item.

Right! So new Shanthi Sagar is a popular North Indian restaurant in the vicinity of Vijaynagar. I have been going to this place since 2000 or so and obviously it has undergone a few changes, sadly one of those is that the quality of food has gone down. The food is not quite the same anymore and the only reason I still go to this place is because it's still decent compared to other vegetarian options in the area. The prices are also a little on the expensive side.

Food is good and tasty, and service is also manageable. Recently, saw one of the cooks exit the bathroom and enter the kitchen directly without washing his hands.

Other than being strategically located in Vijayanagar, right behind Maruti Mandir.there is nothing note worthy about this place. Food is also below standard. Not all "Shanti Sagar" dish out tasty food.just like not all Saravana Bhavans are actually affiliated to the original Saravana Bhavan. Lol

Been their customer for 20 years but for the first time felt the service was not on point really was expecting much more from the restaurant hope so won't be disappointed again next time.

So Shantisagar is our Vijaynagar restaurant. I had two major problems here. One the table stank of old stale food because the cleaning cloth was dirty. Two the water glass smells of cigarette meaning the glass is not washed. I hope they come out of this mess.

I love this resto. Have been going here for years now. Same satisfaction even now. Best veg place for family dine outs in the vijaynagar area!

Not satisfied if you order tea for two members after the supply

B4 u finish Ur tea they come 2wise an disturbs you and B4 u ask for bill they give you the bill

Place for senior citizen. Because classic taste, mild spice. Crowdy place, recommend only for eating, not a place for chit chat.

The Place is Expensive. The food Is Like Okay. The place is Not so ventilated. No Proper sitting Arrangement. Please go at your own risk.

A nice hotel. Can be easily located. It's in maruthi mandir vijayanagara. Seating available in both ground floor and above. Crowded. Parking could be difficult.

Its worst hotel.today i visited hotel for around 2pm. I sitited in ac room. After ten minits waitir came and taken order. After 25minits my ordered food served in my table. Food was worst. I complind with owner.owner says. Cant do anything. Once it served you have to eat.wats this nonsence? I am not completed my food.after bill came.bill shows high rate. Again i ask with staff Suddenly hotel owner came and showting with me. I think hotel owner Some Rowdy back ground. I realy fedup. Guys dont go this hotel. I filed a complint in consumer foram. Its realy worst hotel.
