A branch of the reputed National Institute of Engineering, which offers computer related courses, not many buildings and other things in the campus, a bit far away from nearby restaurant or hotels, and rarely available public and private transportation other than this it is quite a good college.

The National Institute of Engineering (NIE), established in the year 1946, today stands 196th place among top engineering colleges in the country that include IITs and NITs as per National Institution Ranking Framework (NIRF-2021) announced by Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD).

NIE got autonomous status from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi in 2007. It has been accredited by NAAC.

This engineering college is awesome, the culture of the college is super. And this is North Campus of NIE, NIEIT now merged and become NIE North (autonomous)
This is far away from the Mysuru City.

This institute now known as NIE NORTH CAMPUS. It's good institute i have ever seen in my whole student life.i have alot of memories here with me.this institute was most successful institute in Karnataka.

Still a long way to go. Academically, not all that good. Most of the lecturers are unfit to teach. Dearth of leadership qualities in all departments, when it comes to decision making. I would rate 5bout of 10.

I completed my bachelor's degree in CSE from this college. It is a pretty decent college, tons of opportunities and good exposure.

Very unfriendly office staff.getting your passport done would seem faster than collecting your old certificates from them!

Arguably one of the best colleges in the city. The campus is peaceful and well isolated from hustle and bustle of the city.

The quality of education is good and it's safe to say that the well versed faculties of the Computer Science department, with their practical oriented approach have made us industry ready.

I was graduated from this college. The teaching faculty is very good and learning environment is also really good. Well equipped labs, libraries and various literary/cultural clubs can be counted among the various other privileges offered.

I must say, one of the decent college in the city witha a great campus and infrastructure. It’s got friendly and encouraging lecturers proving a all-round growth and exposure.
Being a CSE graduate from NIE-IT, i see that it’s got good placements as well.

I'll be honest with my review. The college has improved massively from when I graduated in 2016. It's a whole new college now, thankfully. From placements to miscellaneous facilities, the college has had a metamorphosis.

A good college for engineering in Mysore. It is a great campus with very friendly and encouraging lecturers in CSE branch. Placements are really improved compared to previous years.

I have been alumnus of this college. I studied in this college from September 2011 to June 2015 in the ECE branch. The infrastructure of the college stands as a testimony to its name. The teaching staffs, lab staffs and other faculties are all highly knowledgeable and have fostered the growth of this college ever since its inception. The teaching staff here are extremely hardworking. It is totally up to the students to utilise the potential of them.

Good place to start shaping your career by using all the facilities offered. Very good encouragement is given in all the co-curricular activities, sports etc.apart from studies. All the faculties are easy reachable and friendly with good knowledge in respective fields. Placements are also good, many opportunities offered to your bucket:)

It has good, clean & ventilated Classrooms, Well Equipped Laboratories, Cricket Ground & Bus Facilities etc. The Professors are Student Friendly & Highly Supportive both in Studies as well as in Extra- Curricular Activities.
