After 3.3 kms from Dobbspet, you will find Jai Hind dhabha. The route starts from here.
You can get down at Hale Nijgal on local busses that run between Nelmangala/Dobbspet and tumkur. Small rivulet takes you past the Railway track. This is at KM 53 milestone on the track. If its flooded, you could climb up, cross and climb down tge way made by the locals.
Don't follow google if you are walking from here. Just take the first path that branches off after on other side of the track. First you will arrive at plain biulder, then a level of fortofication, then Hanuman mandur and finally a temple dedicated to Siddhar on top which is kind of a cave.
Person with average fitness level can do the asend in about 35-40mins.
