When I arrived at the facility to me, was on a stretcher with left side paralysis. The management and service staff were very helpful and caring during to me two weeks stay there. I recently had the pleasure of visiting NIKISA for stroke rehabilitation services for my uncle. I must say that the entire experience was truly outstanding. From the moment we walked into the facility, we were greeted with warm and friendly staff who immediately made us feel at ease.

The rehabilitation team at NIKISA is top-notch. They were highly skilled and knowledgeable, and they worked closely with my uncle to develop a personalized treatment plan that was tailored to his specific needs. My father was admitted to NIKISA Rehabilitation hospital in December 2022. It was a very good learning experience for me because we are from Mangalore and the health care system there is the complete opposite.

It was a revelation to know that after the patient is discharged from the hospital immediately after stroke there are 4 more stages of recovery. Doctors snd Physiotherapists gave knowledge about why the fingers and hand or foot bend if proper recovery is not provided through rehabilitation.

There are so many equipment with NIKISA that I had not seen them in other places. They will use tilt table with BP measurements before making a paralysis patient to stand. They have finger exerciser. They have computer aided spirometry equipment. Amazing.

My father had a stroke but he had a diabetic wound which was treated with careful dressing and ensuring strict blood sugar control through proper nutrition and diet. I saw the wound healing.
The doctors are amazing especially Dr. J B NAIK who was very patient and kept updating us regularly. Even the psychologist was good and very resourceful and knowledgeable.

My father had suffered a stroke and was admitted at Baptist hospital for 14 days. After his discharge we enquired about places which provide good stroke recovery treatment. Our doctor at the hispital suggested Nikisa hispital. We made enquiries and admitted him at NIKISA hospital for recovery and Rehabilitation.

No sooner my father was admitted at NIKISA hospital Dr. J. B. Made a detailed assessment and explained to us the 7 stages of Stroke Recovery and made us to realise that my Father was in Stage 2.
Dr. Nisarga and Dr Naik made detailed recovery plan for next two stages. They first fitted splints to my father to prevent deformity. Also they prepared nutrition plan.

For next one month my father was provided with targeted Physiotherapy with a range of equipment and machines.

If you have a dear one who is recovering from a seizure, then this is the place to be for getting better. My dad had 3 seizures in a span of 40 days. He was unconscious for several days. However, with the help of in-house Doctors, he recovered well. Dr Nisarga is a great physiotherapist and is extremely empathetic to all her patients. She had a huge role in making my dad walk who was bedridden after his seizures. I can’t thank Dr. Durga and Nurse Manjula who were always present to cater my Dad’s needs and give medication on time. NIKISA stroke rehabilitation centre is an excellent place of recovery of stroke patients. My uncle had suffered a stroke two months ago and we were at a big hispital for a month. We were looking at a good place for further recovery.

A friend of ours referred us to NIKISA hispital. We had admitted our uncle for a month. This hospital is perhaps the most equipped hispital for stroke recovery. Apart from Physiotherapists they have numerous equipment which were not available at the big hospital. They provide 6 to 8 hours of physiotherapy. They have doctors and trained nurses.

My uncle started walking within 20 days. He is out of nasal feeding. Has started talking. The wards are clean and are well equipped.

We have availed OPD physiotherapy at Nikisa for my mother after she had a fall. I had admitted my mother who suffered a stroke on April 4 th. We found it very difficult to get a bed in all major hospitals of Bangalore on account of Coivid. We had to go JP Nagar to get an ICU bed in a small hospital. They treated my mother for 6 days and asked us to admit her to NIKISA hospital in Yelahanka. After she was admitted at NIKISA Hospital my mother was immediately cared to at the critical care section. After checking for Covid infection and monitoring for a day, they shifted her to a single bed special ward. From next day my mother was provided with physiotherapy. She got 6 sessions of therapy and she could start siting on chair, moving her hand etc. In 10 days, her feeding tube was removed. She was trained for bladder control and can use the toilet on her own. She recovered well in 30 days and discharged. I am thankful to Dr. Naik and his team for taking care of my mother. Facilities were very superior to many hospitals of Bangalore. Their charges are very reasonable. Any one recovering from stroke should consider NIKISA hospital.
