Except waiting initially and for visits, they will only take care of everything. Citizen is safe and guided. Service oriented. In comparability pvt hospital will charge 10 times more, And still you may have doubt for later visits and payments. There is no need to look other way while opting, they does what's best for you. Worst experience. My mom and dad who are 65 and 77 went there from 9 am in the morning. Still no one checked them up and no one bothered to take care of them also

Very bad experience, doctors were not checking properly and were complaining that we are tiered to see so many patients. Dr was not even listening, did not even check the MRI report we did previously, and asked to do MRI again. Requested to provide an appointment, but they said there are no appointment system, just wait in line when you have the reports.

No need to come in early morning. The gates open at 8: 00. No need to rush. There are many counters and registration can be done without waiting for too long. Do not loiter around after registration. Reach to the final OPD e.g G3 for Neurosurgery OPD well before 11: 30. Take appointment online to reduce waiting time for registration. Patients are seen on priority based on their diagnosis.

Newly visiting patients must go to OPD department and register thair name with Adhar card. OPD starts at 8am. It's best to visit early to get early registration for new patients. The fee is 20Rs INR. Visit Gate#1 after registration. Usually more patients visit here. Please Maintain the patience with NIMHANS Staff and security. Follow there guidelines. And there is a enquiry counter to clear your all doubts.
In next visit no need to Visit OPD. Show previous reports, registered form and visit respective department.

No experience doctors in neurology, full waste of time, we wait 12 hrs, they didn't given proper precautions

I waited for more than 6 hours to meet doctor in F14 opd Very disappointed about the service.

Very good doctors are available in Nimhans hospital. So many patients are there. It is main hospital in Bangalore for the treatment of Neuro medicine and Neuro surgery.

Worst experience of my life. Can't get service even if someone was dying. They tell you to sit and wait and don't call you for hours. There should be a system where they give a number and call you accordingly, so at least you would know when your turn will come. But here there was absolute chaos. And there were so many people being called randomly, I waited 6 hours for my turn the first day, and came back home without seeing a doctor when i went for a follow up.

Registration Procedure for Walk-In Patients:

-Patients can wait at the Wait Area, it has adequate sitting arrangement. Accompanied attendant can take the registration form & wait in the queue
-The registration counter starts at 8am, try reaching by 7am (or even early)
-The security personal will give you a form, which has your token number written on top right hand.
-Security personal will allign you according to the Token Number on your form. There is a seating available for the waiting queue
-Reach the counter and get yourself registered

Important:
1. Do carry a Pen - to fill the form
2. Wear proper mask as it's crowded
3. Help other to make them understand the process

The number provided to contact the hospital is of no use the attender has no sense of ethics to have a conversation. They could get someone a little patient and more helpful. No-one should be treated inhumanly. I suggest you find the same doctors in others clinics or hospitals. Nimhans has dropped it's standards drastically.

Hospital and doctors are good. The opd could have transparency. No token system. No order. Jayadeva hospital follows proper token system in their opd.

I mentioned ONE MOST IMPORTANT THING in last.

As per the customer service, it's not so good.
There are many waiting areas, some staff come and announce your name, if you are not in that waiting room they will mark you as absent.
Like literally you waited for 3-4 hours in waiting room A. And staff calls your name is waiting room D. Your whole day wasted.

Before going please take appointment from line just to save yourself from long queue. But you have to go to other queues for other work also. WHEREVER YOU GO, YOU NEED TO PASS THE QUEUES.

Your generation will pass during waiting, and staff won't tell you how much longer you have to wait. Because there is no proper number system. Either your number comes just after 1 hour, or after 4-7 hours. It depends.

They will refer you to doctors based on your native language.

ONE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER.
Don't buy your medicine from here, they do theft. They do wrong billing and customer won't check and give them money.

I buy meds, they made me a bill of 3500.but when I come outside and check properly by matching with my meds cost. I found out they have taken 2,000 extra.ohmygod. I go back and scold them. Luckily they return the money.
Actually that's a psychiatric ward, so they think customer won't check there bill because we are mentally not good.

As per the Doctors, they are good.no issues in that.

I visited the hospital recently, it's really good treatment for neurology.
- Security guards are good they help you with any info you need, please mind there will be many people coming from different states as well from other countries and they have to handle.
- If you want appointment early reach OPD block early for first time visit.
- As there will be many people definitely there is waiting time it will take 4-5 hours.
- Doctors listen to your concern patiently and give proper advice. Best government hospital in India.
- Consultation charge is very less, it's RS 20 for registration and Rs 10 to visit doctor. If you have BPL card it's completely free for all scans as well, else you need to pay scanning fees which is bit cheaper compared to private hospitals, and they have state of the art best and new instruments.

I want to share my experience about NIMHANS hospital when I visited to this Hospital for Neuro OPD department for treatment of one my relative.

For New OPD patients after registration you have to go to screening block.

Where you have to wait minimum 2-4 hours just for screening where they will decide which department you have to go.

Here screening lady Doctor was very rude to us she was not listening our concern and within 2 minute she is calling another patient, if you are asking /telling your problem she was shouting like we are begging her kidney's.

Request to the screening Doctors/NIMHANS Management:
please listen the patient problem sincerely and without listening patients problem how you can recommend. We are waiting from early Morning 5 AM, and most of the people are coming from different states and different countries to meet the doctor and you are not listening patient problem sincerely, it is very bad feeling, I can't express here.and for me that lady Doctor recommended to visit out side ENT doctor, but we have already taking treatment from ENT. And they only asked us to visit NIMHANS. Neuro Doctor, she don't want to listen anything when we were telling about this. She was shouting like anything,

Request to the management please don't put any frustrated doctor in the screening block atleast, she was waisted our one day.

Again I went to the screening department and this time I meet with another Doctor and told please we have already taken treatment from ENT and ENT doctor only recommend us to visit neuro doctor please send us to Neuro department.
Then he written in my registration paper to visit Neuro OPD.

So one day waisted in screening block just for written to visit neuro department on registration paper.

Again I went for next day around 6 AM, I reached there and already que was started.

Security person came arround 7: 30 am
And collected registration paper from all the person's who are in QUEUE.
Till that we don't know what is the next process.

Big challenge here no one is here to help /guide from Hospital management, only one enquiry cabin present were enquiry lady also not responding properly.

Here daily many patients are coming they are wasting most of the time here because of they don't know the exact process and here hospital people are very rude, if you ask any help /queries they will shout on you like we are begger and not they will tell you the answer.i was shocked when I saw senior citizens patient not able walk and wheel chair was there In OPD I was trying to give the wheel chair to senior citizens patient but the security guard started shouting why you are giving wheel chair to this patient, I told he is not able to walk are you not able to see, so I was giving, he tooked the wheel chair from my hand and kept aside.

Request to the management: please teach your staff to talk to patients/attender politely and help the patient when they are needed atleast for the senior citizens.

Worst place ever seen no one gives accurate information and even after spending whole day for our health and spending our money here especially rude staffs is this how people's is been and culture of the hospital, people are put in a room in the name of token number like sheep and they order us from the entrance till the exit, seriously pathetic it's a big hospital and no one reports on time and they go on time not even 1sec delayed and tell to come tomorrow, tomorrow, don't know how is this organizations working and for name sake it's controlled by central government but no use
Poor people come from other states and stay for long time and not getting proper solution, pathetic

This is the best Nero Hospital. I attended the Hospital 2nd time for Parkinson's Disease Treatment by Dr Ravi Yadav. He is the best Dr. Mr Malayadri a staff member of the hospital helped me a lot in the hospital, Depending on Mr Malayadri I could be treated there.

Known as the best hospital in neuroscience with all specialisations. Good stuff. Good system. Good doctors, but time consuming if visit late morning. Canteen is there with various options.

Best hospital in India for nerve related treatment & mental patient treatment. Patients not only from India, but from other countries comes here everyday. A vast campus with big trees. Canteen, Bank, medicine, restroom all are here. The staffs are very co operative. All are very systemic.

Crowded although better than many other government run hospitals. Yet life can be tedious for patients. The environs are green and offer a respite.

Heared they are the best, but 8 am to 5 pm, we are still waiting to get a chance to see a specialist Dr.
Along with ailing friends father.we don't even know, if they gonna treat him or not.

Well organised for line 1 (general new registration opd) line 2 (referral new registration opd). Though people start coming here 3 am be in the queue but it is not required really.come at 8 am as registration time is till 11: 30 am and doctors see patients post 7 pm also.

Thr Hospital is no doubt good but the staffs should be taught how to behave with the patients. " HOSPITAL IS A PLACE WHERE POLITENESS IS NEEDED. " LEARN SOME MANNERS STAFFS & SHOW SOME KINDNESS.
