Nisargadhama Reserve

This place is not for travelers not worth to stop and visit this bush park it's only for local people and Kerala tourist buses to park and dance

An island in middle of Kaveri River near Kushalnagar, Coorg. Beautiful scenic place with Bamboo forests and Deer Park, there are statues which showcases Local Kodava culture

In the midst of nature with long bamboo trees this is an ideal.place for a family outing. Crossing an hanging bridge to reach this forest makes it more enjoyable

Inside using fallen tree stumps they have created different things and in one tree stub you can see ganesha crocodile birds like parrot dancing girl etc by expert painting of different branches with colors.

A lot of wooden benches are there. On the whole it is a pleasant experience inside this bamboo forest

Okay okay place to be. We visited in rains, so river tour was quite shut down. Most of it is a forest park and has a deer park inside. A place to click some pictures in the lap of nature

A very good place to visit with friends or family. It has large number of well grown bamboo trees.you need to pass through a hanging bridge over a small river to enter into the reserve.children will really enjoy the place. A small deer park is present. It also contains zip line. U can also cross a stream.

The journey begins with a suspension bridge over a stream of water. We get an amazing view of the water below surrounded by lush green forests. Once crossing the bridge we are welcomed by very tall bamboo trees everywhere. It's a perfect place to have a picnic and take rest. There are several seating areas and also zipline for adventure freaks. There's a deer enclosure too which is just spectacular.

Of you plan to visit for a day it's a waste of time to visit this place. If u wish to stay for more days you can visit. This place is pleasant but not much interesting

Good place to spend 1/1.5 hrs three things to specifically see. 1. Deer park has <10 in no. 2. River view: steps lead u to flowing river 3. Garden with some decent articrafts

We went during rains and most places were wet and slippery.walk pathways were strewn with water and mud at several locations.

Had option for zip lining costing 100/- per head

Considering ticket price of 10/- Adult and 5/- kids above 6 yrs it's a decent place to visit wih kids but don't expect much.

There is also set of shops selling soverings and food items.should say prices are decent at competitive to once u find outside.

Easy to locate since it's on main road

Didn't have any food there which was mostly fast food and juices.

There is also option of game zone just adjacent campus which we didn't explore considering rains

Would recommend to skip if u have other places to cover

It was ok, but crocodile in a bad position. No water in his pond. Very bad place for him. Not cleaned properly.

Nisargadhama is a breathtaking and beautiful island that is located just off the state highway, 2 kilometres away from Kushalnagar town and around 30 kilometres from Madikeri. This fantastic island is formed by the river Kaveri in the district of Kodagu, Karnataka in India and spreads over a total area of 64 acres. Established in 1989 as a tourist spot by the Forest Department, the picturesque picnic spot is adorned with lush foliage of thick bamboo groves, teak trees and sandalwood, with lovely riverside cottages.

One of the visiting place in coorg.location was nice to see here based on seasons boating is available.

You may opt for going there. It's like a park. You will get to see artistic pieces like sculptures of different traditions. Also there's scenic view of river Kaveri and you will get to see deers.

This place has not so good ambience, there is a deer park where you can see few deeers. There is a zip line which is a waste thing to do.

Very touristy, but very beautiful and vast enough to enjoy without too much of a crowd. Tip, go near the river banks

There is a ticket for entry also parking fees this reserve even have a small zoo e we can’t call it a zoo it’s because all you can see is some deer’s lol there are some souvenir shop at the entry too

Its a good nature reserved park. Good for kids. Nothing much to offer, there is one deer Park and one river. Entry fees is just 10 rs, So quite okay place.

Its a nature walk, tough its rough since the place has not been maintained. The deer park has deers and looks like having less greenery for the deers. There are small areas with stone statues depicting village culture and life, besides there are tree houses and some small activities for kids like zip lining that did not seem much fun. The area outside the reserve seems to be having a lot of shops and more developed than the area inside.

The entry fees is just 10 rs. There is also boating available which was closed when we visited! The deers are quite friendly! It has variety of statues! There is also a shopping area beside and eateries!

This place is sort of a garden. Has a river passing through it. You can visit here after going to dubare elephant.

There is Need for Directions and information about what is there to see inside. People just roam around mindlessly asking each other without knowing what there is to see inside here.

Vast in space. If you got time to kill, hang out here for a while to enjoy greenery and water flowing around the park.

Can be exploited for tourism promotion ore nicely. Place is good to see, nice tree log paintings seen

Nothing so great, just a garden and that too not properly maintained. You can just visit for a few minutes if it's on your way, no need to specially travel.
