North Breeze home stay

I planned my stay to work while enjoying my leisure time in coorg. But poor WiFi made our stay horrible and, we had to find another place. We have specifically asked about wifi before coming and after confirmation only, we came. We booked their largest room with a scenic view from the balcony, but I couldn't work from my room and had to move the common open area for my work as wifi was not working in our room. Even Though, we asked the owner if he could manage something, we didn't receive any help on this.

We recently stayed at this charming homestay, and it proved to be a delightful and unique accommodation experience.
The homestay was situated in a picturesque and peaceful location, close to the heart of the city, the tranquility and proximity to nature added to the overall charm. It was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
The gracious reception, cozy accommodation, and an abundance of greenery. The perspective from the rooftop was tranquil, and the caretaker was exceptionally courteous.
The pathway to access this homestay is rather narrow, and regrettably, the property does not offer designated parking for guests. Consequently, we had to park our vehicle along the roadside, with the assurance that it was indeed a secure location. This is the only drawback we could see, otherwise deserves a 5star rating.

The house is a cosy one with excellent view of the valley and the terrace and open spaces are nicely decorated with a number of plants and orchids. That's it! Services provided are pathetic. The owners never come to understand customer's views about the stay, in fact they never met us from their own. The attendant doesn't understand or speak good English or Hindi and he is the only person who is accessible by the customers. It is a pain to communicate with him. They have displayed breakfast timings etc but don't even provide tea or coffee, leave aside serving breakfast. Even for morning first cup of tea or coffee you have to go nearly more than a mile! Overall, my suggestion is to avoid this place.

Beautiful and lush plants could be well found throughout the site.
It is in the middle of the town and is very safe. However, don't worry about the view as it more than lives up to its promise. The property was surrounded by tiny and large old-style residences occupied by locals.
Our stay kept us warm during the night when the town had succumbed to fog.
Nothing greater could possibly be desired.

I will surely recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a place to stay in Coorg. Budget friendly tariff and good coffee they serve (paid). Owners are also very friendly.

Ambience is too good and the stay was amazing. Well maintained property with hot water and balcony view. Highly recommended!

Rooms are clean. Reasonably spacious with two beds but no other furniture. Outside the room there is space with table and chairs which gives a good view. The view of the town is a great attraction. The care taker prepares food on request. Towels and toiletries poorly supplied. No shops or eateries nearby.

This house is just perfect for your family. The rooms are spacious and very very clean which was a treat to my mom s eye. The decor is very pleasing to the eye. My baby really felt at home, cozy and she slept well. My dad loved the morning view from the balcony. My nephew told me he wants to stay here for a week which was his way of saying he loved the place. We travelled a lot in and around coorg so coming back to those comfy beds was a blessing. Praveen was our host during our stay and he was very polite, kind and helpful. He treated us like family. He would always say yes to everything. I will definitely stay here everytime i visit coorg going forward.

Nice place to stay with awesome hill view. But need a lot of maintenance of the rooms. Along with a good care taker is required.

Comfortable but lacks professional service. Caretakers needs more training. Convenient location.

One of the best Homestays in Madikeri. Very secluded but close to Raja seat. Amazing hospitality.

A homestay ideal for family outing. Great views, the only downside being a bit uphill from the town centre was not having many options for restuarants.

It's a home stay. Coorg is very beautiful place. Nice rooms. Nearby the coorg city. Breakfast is included but lunch n dinner not. Owner was very polite and helpful. Close to nature. Rooms are wide and airy. Guyser included. Service was good but it should be improved more I think. Weather is too good. We stayed at there for 2 days. We enjoyed a lot.

One of the best place to stay, most beautiful, homely, quit, clam, seacneric. Homely feeling, the honest Mr Rajesh is like elder brother, who take cares of Ur all needs, u will feel like Ur away from home but still in Ur home sweet home. 100% recommend to couples, family.

This place is simply amazing with the beautiful scenic view of the town from balcony and it also has a terrace for which you need to climb just 4 steps and its mini heaven. The plants compliment the cloud passing by. One can spend hours together standing here.
Coming to the room, it was decent and well maintained. They provided us soap & towels (I advice you to carry your own shampoo). The breakfast was stomach filling and the staff (Praveen Anna) is very friendly and gets you coffee for free with his smile:)
Owners are very co-operative and friendly.
This place is 10min walk away from Raja Seat. One can easily access town on foot or take a running auto.
He even helped us to get an auto to busstand on the last day.

Loved this place because of cleanliness, good amenities, nice place to hangout n chat. Amazing view from the terrace. But no facility of lunch n dinner.
