My mother has been a patient of the hospital since last 4-5 years

Everything in the hospital have changed drastically. The optima clinic became super speciality hospital, the staffs became highly unorganised and extremely rude (except once nurse from the clinic days) and the doctor transformed into a business man. I understand it is difficult to run a hospital in comparison to a clinic but change in character and attitude in the doctor and soul of the clinic is highly condemned

The soul of the clinic is missing and I am planning to shift my mother’s treatment from this soulless place

Dr. Sharath wil not respond properly, only once he will prescribe the remedy. Patients visit hospital travelling from long distance hoping we may get some resolution, I think no use of that.
Pain is not releved also but spent so much money, very costly hospital but no good treatment.

No proper explaination given from Doctor just he gives hardly 5mnts that's it.
I need some improvement interacting to patient's and try to resolve their issue for taking money.
From 3years same tablets given no change in treatment even if patient's not getting relief from pain.

My experience with Optima hospital is awesome, I connected with this hospital from kolkata for getting the consultation with Dr Divya Shree KR, one of the best Psychiatrist that u can possibly get, the entire staff of the hospital is so supportive and above all the doctors of Optima are top of the world, just imagine if me living in kolkata can connect with Doctors of Optima, then u can imagine the caliber of doctors of Optima, I would highly recommend this hospital and my Dr Divya Shree KR!

Pathetic management and Inhumane behavior from Nurses and Doctor. Same mistakes being repeated again and again. Even a corrupt person will justify their bribes to some extent but here that no justification at all for the money being paid for consultations!

I’ve been consulting Dr Sharath kumar for my wife for the past 4-5 years. He gives a patient hearing to the patient, prescribes right medication without overdoing it.
Right place to visit for any ortho problems.

My mother is visiting since last year and she is very happy after consultaning Dr. Sharath Kumar's treatment which helps her to redude the pain which she was suffering a lot.over all the experience was good compare to other hospital treatment.

Great hospital and Doc Sharat kumar is a great doc. He allows patient to talk and share all the problems, he writes detailed description about what happened and what needs to done. And also hospital staff very genteel, and the hospital well maintained and super clean.

I visited this hospital with my friend and he is having Rheumatoid Arthritis (Few fingers swelling/enlarged type and he faced very huge pain in finger) so visited Dr.sharath and he suggested to do few blood tests so done with tests also. Doctor given some medicines like HCQS and few other (not disclosing tabs name) and he told to take 3 months so he have taken but there is no use from that medicine so again he went to same hospital but he given same tablets and again no use from those tablets.
Sorry to say there is no use from this hospital for RA.
From past 2 years he is suffering from RA.

Optima super Speciality hospital is located right next to Mahalaxmi layout metro station. Facilities are good, staff is courteous, good doctors, highly recommended for any rhuematalogy related diagnosis and treatment. Dr Sharath Kumar is an excellent doctor, gets to root cause, ensures patients get cured early. Highly recommended.

The doctor Dr Sharath Kumar is a good doctor however the hospital is absolutely Terrible! The management there seem to think that speaking to a doctor or a nursing staff is a task tougher than speaking with God! No access to a.human staff number everything through what's app. I even had a staff member physically hold me by the wrist when I wanted to speak to a doctor. Horrendous.

I have been interacting with Dr Sharath (for me and my sister), Dr Divya (for my Sister) and few other specialist in Optima Hospital.

Dr Sharath always shows a will to work on what his Patient wants from him, be it Medical Opinion or the best of Technology and Process (managing the patients visit/video call).

Talking about Dr. Sharath's treatment, he carries a lot of experience of treating people, very often I see him making decisions on patients health plan so confidently, and for me all of his decisions has benefitted all the time. Dr Sharath is the best doctor in his field with so much knowledge and still very kind and humble approach. His treatment always worked and I would rate him No 1. Staffs as well are very professional and patient enough to answer any queries. I highly recommend this Optima Arthritis & Rheumatology clinic to others.

Dr sheath Kumar is the best rheumatologist in Bangalore but the problem is the hospital staff are rude they don't know what is the meaning of appointment for ex if you take appointment for 10 am they allow to visit the doctor 12 or 1 pm.

PS: Two months after posting this review and despite the vague promises in the reply, Dr. Kumar is still pretending that his few weeks course at ACR is a post-graduate degree on Practo.

The doctor at the clinic, Dr Sharath Kumar, misleads people with his qualifications. Practo and other websites should verify before allowing people to post incorrect claims. On Practo for example, he writes: " he also graduated from NP and PA post graduate course in Rheumatology (combined adult and Pediatric tracks) from the American College of Rheumatology. "

The American College of Rheumatology is not a proper college - its a membership body of physicians who provide short paid online courses, definitely not "post graduate" courses. No degree is awarded. It's unprofessional and suspicious when people choose to misrepresent themselves this way.
I was researching treatment options for my father who has arthritis, and removed this clinic from my shortlist for precisely this reason.

Most worst hospital.
Initially fr consultation they hv charged 1500
Including 150 fr santitization.
Later fr USG IAS injection they r charging rs 4800 with separate consultation of rs 1000.
In which injection cost is rs 500 only.
Scan of joint 2500
Doctor charges to give injection rs 1800
Later I refused to take.
Then I went to Manipal hospital.
Consultation rs 900
Injection. Rs 483
Plus seringe and other charges. 600
Totally resulted rs 2000.against rs 7300.
I suggest nt to visit.
In one day only I am feeling better.
I suggest to visit Manipal little far but very good doctor and very good medication.

Extremely poor with time management, my mom walked into the clinic at 10: 40am for consultation and biopsy procedure. She left the clinic at 2: 30pm.

Optima clinic should value patients time, you charge money for consulting and procedures, don’t operate like a free / charity business.

The clinic is very bad in terms of management. They told me to pay the consultation fees and after that they will schedule the appointment with doctor. I have paid and after that followed up with them. They gave me a schedule at 2pm and by 1.30 they called me and told me the doctor has postponed the schedule by 5pm
After 5pm when I called the clinic that doctor did not join their number is switched off
I messaged my concern to them in their WhatsApp, which they have seen but not responded

Good doctors, and co-operative staff members. Anyone seeking expert help on issues the clinic specialises in, can pay a visit to the clinic. I'm getting my Gouty Arthritis treated at the clinic.

Dr sharath.an absolutely fabulous dr who listens to you patiently and helps you thru your disease with the correct medication and positivity.

Overall I am v v happy wit Dr sharath and hence I feel half my problems get solved the min we get a consultation wit him.

This is the experience from 2018-19 and although I am late to review, I felt I will leave it here anyway if it helps other people.

My wife had severe back pain for 10 years before visiting OARC. In those 10 years, we visited multiple doctors, both in Mumbai and Bangalore. We did MRI, CT scans and what not but no doctor could diagnose the core issue. There was no evidence of the root of the problem in any of the lab reports. Most of the doctors put her on pain killers, which gave relief only for short time.

When we visited Dr. Sharath, it was more of a last resort. In our first visit, he diagnosed two problems: inflammation in pelvic bone and fibromyalgia. This diagnosis was based on the same lab reports and the same information we had provided other doctors, but Dr. Sharath was the first one to even mention Fibromyalgia. He laid out the multi-month treatment plan for both the root causes and man, it worked wonders. It took few months of treatment and physiotherapy, but my wife got her normal life back. All the random swellings over her body and face, the pain on touch, and inability to do any movement was all cured.

The most critical piece was the diagnosis done by Dr. Sharath in the first session itself. And his knowledge and expertise in the field is evident from that diagnosis. As I said, this diagnosis was based on same information that we had presented to multiple doctors (all specialized in Rheumatology) and no one could diagnose anything.

The only aspect of OARC which can be improved is the scheduling and the wait times. Few people have complained about it and we too were very disappointed in our first couple of visits. But over a period, we got used to it and the results of the treatment were too overwhelming to even complain about scheduling. We have spent hours waiting in the clinic, but hey, it all was worth it.

Dr. Sharath Kumar's society health commitment is highly appreciated, my mother is taking the treatment from him. He suggests the tests (lab reports) when it is necessary only. Positive approach towards patients problem. If patient followes his advise and instructed physical exercise there will be definetly recover chances and my mother is the best example. He is highly experienced in Rheumatology.

We love talking to Dr Sharath and dealing with the entire team at Optima.

We have been consulting with Dr Sharath for past couple of years. A very good rheumatologist available in Bangalore. The staff at OARC is very friendly. They have very good online system in place. They have started online consultation during the pandemic which is of great relief for recurring patients. One of the best pharmacy. If there are any complaints, it about the waiting times. Overall, 5 stars to OARC and Dr. Sharath.

Fees Rs1000 + Rs300 extra for PPE kit for the Doctor + Rs100 for the registration.

Paid 1400 for consultation.

Dr divyashrees treatment has worked very well with me. However please sort out the communication issue regarding the timings.

The worst doctor ever. No hygiene and absolutely no regard for the patients. Money sucking man. His diagnosis and medication (he also performed a minor surgery) was completely wrong and caused more harm than good. He should be ashamed to call himself a doctor.

The moment you step into the clinic it is makes a patient feel more sick once you speak to the receptionist who never has a smile on her face and always looks gloomy and rude.she has no respect for any human beings who come there. And you can see her worst when we call her up for any queries. She has no basic telephone etiquette. She has no concentration while we speak and most of the time she is lost in her own world and does multi tasking forgetting the caller and will ask us to hold on and we may have to repeat the same again and again. Sad to say this. But if this can be corrected then i could say that this is one of the best clinic in Bangalore

Have been taking my mother for last two years to Dr. Sharath kumar. Excellent Doctor, excellent staff and very good processes. Waiting time is a bit high for older people. Takes 2 to 3 hours with an appointment. But does not matter considering the quality of treatment. They track the patient very closely.

Dr. Sharathkumar. We consulted him for my mother's joint pains (multiple places) Till now my mother consulted couple of doctors at different locations. But no use. Finally I took her to Optima. Dr. Sharathkumar diagnosed correctly by asking several questions of my mother illness history and prescribed medicines which worked really well and we observed the results from 2nd day onwards only. Really thanks to Dr. Sharath.

Coming to staff. The staff is really helpful on clearing all our doubts. Especially the way they handle patients. It's really organized well. Receptionist followed by main nurse who will enquire about health issues medications that we are using till now and what is the current problem of the patient, height weight BP and BMI will be checked before hand and entered the reports in their system. Finally when are about to consult doctor they send the report to docotor. Doctor will check all the reports and may ask more questions and listens you carefully and starts his treatment. And his treatment details also will be entered in his system so that Dr will be having history of the patient.

Another good thing is, ultrasound scanning will be done by Dr. Sharath only, so that he can understand better about the problem and treat accordingly. And the best part is Optima clinic has virtual consultation where we can take prior appointment for Tele or video call consultation. Which really helps the patients who are coming from different states like us. And they courier the medicines too.

we met Dr. Sharath about 10 years back in columbia Hospital
We have started treatment from that time onwards through Doctor Sharath and she is fully better now.
She was strictly following the treatment and sincerely taking all the medicines prescribed by him from time to time.

I visited this hospital for my mother knee arthritis and we consulted Dr Sarath Kumar. Overall experience is very good and we are seeing improvement.

Since my mother was suffering for arthritis from a long time, we visited here, doctor was very good and did good diagnosis, he asked about all previous conditions and made a lot of examination, he only gives IAS injection and does scanning also (but reports of scanning will not be given) and came to conclusion about my mother's condition, the overall cost was around 15k including all tests and medicine
had to spend a whole day there as doctor after doing one thing, comes back after an hour but understandable, my mother has started taking medicine from today, overall very satisfied with staff and especially doctor sharath Kumar!

I had a good experience last year when my wife had a knee problem which was diagnosed by Dr. Puranik as tearing of the meniscus. His method of explaining to the patient his diagnosis and the reasons for the diagnosis after extensive examination of the affected part.
So when I had a foot problem I decided to visit Dr. Puranik for consultation. I was not disappointed. He spent sufficient time examining my foot. Then he diagnosed the problem and explained to me the reasons for arriving at the diagnosis. He also told me what steps I need to take to remedy the problem
All in all it was a satisfactory visit.

Dr. Sarath Kumar is great but the staff is incredibly slow. The wait time is roughly around 1.5 hours despite booking a spot on Practo.
