OPTRA CARE - Speciality Center for Sports Physiotherapy and Orthopedic Rehab

After going through 10+ sessions for my son, our conclusion is NOT to approach this clinic without first consulting a medical specialist. Physiotherapy is, and should be, only considered like nursing services, however confidently the lead therapist claims to "know" the issue. Money and time wasted by us due to the false promises and fake confidence.

They took money from us for 10 sessions during Corona period and the person on the reception assured us that if the second lockdown they will adjust the sessions and when we went for the next session they refused what they promised, out of 7500rs the 3500 rs gone waste. The owner Sukrit is a rude person, and the physiotherapists keep on changing there.

I shopped around several PT places in Bangalore before choosing Optra Care. S carefully listened to my injury history, examined scans, and asked questions to understand the issue well. He explained fascial manipulation to me (this was my first time trying it) and treated me for several sessions with a combo of fascial release and strengthening. The actual manipulation and healing was painful, but after nearly a decade of trying to treat the same post-trauma injury, I felt more relief than I had in a long time. He even offered to speak to my new therapist once I have one after moving.
Appointments often started late but overall highly recommended Optra Care for people who feel they've tried everything and they still haven't found relief.

My experience with Physiotherapist Dr Manoj Prasath has been excellent. He is very friendly, kind & caring. He is very keen on improvement & motivates & explains everything very well. He's truly an amazing person & Im happy to have my physiotherapy sessions with him.

My experience with Dr Sukrith Debnath and Shipra has been great and very helpful. I was referred to them for my tinnitus issue and I started my therapy with severe ringing in my ear with sleep issues. Edit: Several years later it has become even better. More expertise, more equipment, well organised, larger facility. Dr. Sukrit has done a great job of building a very complete centre.

My experience with Dr. Manoj Prasath has been wonderful. We have been working on my left ankle and right hip. He clearly knows his stuff and he is attentive to my needs. He listens carefully to where my discomfort lies and addresses that. I've received a variety of appropriate interventions from him. Both my legs feel stronger.

I had come here after a knee injury, Dr Amit gave me releases with hand and machines to release the stress in the muscles around the knee and then we started working out. I feel much better now. Would definitely recommend the place, the doctors are well versed.

Manoj helped me with muscle spasm in my shoulder. In 3 sessions I recovered completely. Highly recommended!

I've visited Dr Sukrit for my neck disc bulge as well as back trouble and he has been highly effective is treating it. From the actual physiotherapy to the exercise regime, he has helped me come up to good physical fitness again. I am thankful to him for helping me overcome my fear. I visit him often as I also do other physical activities for regular advice and releases and he's always accomodating.

Optra Care is my go-to for the times when I have the occasional tightness or muscle strain. The clinic is professional, well-equipped and conveniently located in Koramangala.

Dr. Sasikala, in particular, is a fantastic physiotherapist. She knows how to intuitively find the trigger points and troubled spots. She takes time with the patient to explain the issue, is genuinely caring and effective. I have seen many physios in different cities over the years and I can vouch that she is the best. (I was not prompted to write this review by the clinic or the doctor. This my honest and independent view.)

Both Dr. Sukrit and Dr. Rubina have really helped me with my tmj pain.

The services that I receive from Dr. Rewat Laxman was excellent.  He is very simple and gentle in his behavior. I had fractured my wrist while my exams were nearer. Dr. Helped me a lot and finally within the weeks I was able to write it on my own. Thank you Dr.

Highly professional and expert level physiotherapy session are offered here at a reasonable price. The clinic is hygienic and has all sorts of modern equipments. I have been treated by both Dr. Sukrith & Manoj who are brilliant as they could diagnosed the issue on the very first day. I had undergone dry needling here and post which my back is better and able to do my workouts efficiently. Manoj is very caring, communicative and responsive as he has been treating me very well and always explained me how the treatment would help me and it’s been less than a month taking the course and I can already feel the difference. They both are truly doing a great job. The other staff members are also very knowledgeable and friendly.
I would highly recommend this clinic for better physiotherapy sessions.

Did 5 sessions with sasikala for chronic back pain. She identified the source of the pain which i was not aware of and treated it perfectly.

I did my physio here with Dr. Manoj after an ATFL injury in my ankle and an injury in my knee. It was a great experience. I have not been able to play football properly for a long time, now after this physio, I can see the difference very clearly. The staff here are very friendly and professional. I would totally recommend this centre.

I think the reviews are not very accurate. I used the place and as has my mother in law. The areas of improvement

1. Patients are treated like objects with too many patients being cramped and no personal attention is possible. This keeps the charges low but quality of treatment very poor.
2. The hygiene is very poor and patients are turned around without the bed being cleaned
3. All the attention of the clinic is focused on utilizing the slots and turning around the patient with no interest in curing the payient

My daughter was suffering from TMJ Jaw pain, we visited this clinic and got amazing results. Dr. Kuwali treated and gave few exercises. She is excellent physiotherapist, who decreased the the pain in 10 sessions

I went for my right shoulder injury (rotator cuff) with couple of knots. Dr. Kuwali Das explained in detail about this injury and released all the knots. Then she gave rehabilitation exercises which helped me recover quite fast and now I am able to restart my regular workout. Thank you Kuwali Das for your sincere effort in relieving my shoulder pain. Very Happy to be back in Gym now.

I had bad muscle catch on my lower back Dr Rewat Laxman diagnosed and suggested for physiotherapy, where met with an therapist Mis. Sasikala who explained the cause of the pain and treated so well, within 2-3sessions was able to see the results. Suggested some exercises to strengthen the muscles also. I got my ACL reconstruction surgery done in Early 2020, bu due to COVID and other complications my recovery was hampered. I came to Optra Care in late 2021. As my recovery was delayed a detailed plan was set and they started my treatment.
Dr. Kuwali Das treated me for my ACL recovery. She is an outstanding physiotherapist and communicates well with her patients. Well versed with procedures she started me on a regime to get mobility back in my knee. It is due to her guidance that I have finally cleared all stage of ACL recovery and feel confident in taking part in sports and other physical activities.

Recently took physiotherapy session for pain in wrist. It was a ligament strain. Dr. Kuwali was my physio and after going through the physiotherapy sessions, the pain has subsidized and I could do my normal activities with wrist and also will be resuming gym. Dr. Kuwali did a fabulous job.

I had a complete ACL tear (3years back) Finally i took a surgery after 2.5 years as it was a complete tear.

I was consulting some top physiotherapist before joining Optara care. My journey at Optara Care began only because of the way Dr. Sukrit consulted. I was 100% satisfied the way he consulted. Consultation time was about 10 - 15 min. He was analysing my leg completely and was writing it. (no one else did these) He said i will be alright in a particular time period and as he said i am good and happy now.

Dr. Kuwali was my Physiotherapist. She is the one who made me Jump, Run and Play after 3 years. I will definitely assure you for success if Dr. Kuwali is your physiotherapist. I still remember that happy moment when Dr. Kuwali made me jump with my injured leg. I felt happy to jump with my injured leg after after 3years. She took me through all the PHASES of ACL recovery. I am going to get discharged in a week and NOW AM ABLE TO PLAY BADMINTON LIKE BEFORE.

Also i have to thank me for dropping many other plans to attend my sessions. ACL recovery is a little long process so we should be dedicated to be happy and successful.

Had initially gone due a gym injury to Dr. Rewat who diagnosed my tricep tear. Later on underwent physio with Dr. Sasikala who found the underlying problem in my shoulder and eliminated my muscle pain at its roots.

I reached out to Dr. Sukrit Debnath (Physiotherapist) at Optra Care - Speciality Centre, Koramangala for my back pain. I was struggling with upper back pain for a long time. It was very painful, especially during nighttime. Upon consulting Dr. Sukrit, the doctor recommended physiotherapy. With the treatment at Optra care, I could see immediate relief in a week. I had hip pain that made it hard for me to sleep properly which affected my work. I decided to visit Optra Care and Dr Kuwali was assigned as my therapist. She is an excellent therapist who provides accurate diagnosis followed by proper necessary treatment. I was able to see the effects of the therapy from the first session, and I am now at relief from the pain after the completion of my therapy course.

I had presence of loose bodies inside my right knee. I went through a surgery with Dr. Rewat Laxman very kind, polite surgeon. I did my physiotherapy session post surgery under Dr Kuwali Das. She is extremely professional, with lots of patience with her patients. She is always goal oriented. Her treatment protocol is so effective that I started feeling great in Day 3 itself. I’ve visited Dr. Sukrit for a groin strain that I’ve been struggling to recover from for over an year.

I’ve visited close to a dozen physios in Hyderabad and Bangalore, and I can tell you that he’s one of the most knowledgeable out there.

Most physios earlier did some basic ultrasound which didn’t help at all.

He started off with releases and dry needling (in which he’s an expert) to loosen the injured area, which was followed by a comprehensive stretching and strengthening routine.

I got back to my sport in a month’s time after visiting him.

I’ve also visited him again for an infraspinatus strain. And I’ve got almost 80% relief in 3 sessions.

Would definitely recommend him for any sports injuries or other orthopaedic conditions.
