Great absolutely delicious though there is little space and a lot of crowd the food u get makes u forget everything else and just makes u to eat more and more and the quantity is huge u can't go alone u have to go with ur friends

A great hotel where all the food served are with hygiene and the taste of the food is worth for money.

Had mutton palav and mutton chaps from this restaurant. Palav was very good in quality and quantity. Chaps also quite good though. If you are a mutton lover try this one when you are in Mysore.

Fairly ok eatery. The day I visited at around 8pm there was no crowd at all. The menu options available were limited. But what was available was served properly and was very tasty.

An awesome place for the Non-Veg items and the whole stars goes to the Hanumanthu Matton Palav, I even tried their Nati style Keema and Chicken Masala which were equally good. But the Ghee rice and Matton Palav just make you forget all other flavors and dominates in your mouth like a king. A must-revisit place though the Place is a bit cosey with a rustic taste the Flavorful Palav Just makes you to come back again and again.
I came to know why this place has such a huge celebrity fan base to have Hanumanthu Palav Again and again.

Mutton pulao tastes good the meat was tender and juicy but other items on the menu tastes average.

Worst expirence not a quantity guality its waste of money of chicken biriyani ithink is making only money not recmended

Very nice unique aroma and taste, only for true non veg lovers though.

This is one of best Mess in Mysore. If you are at Mysore for trip then you must visit here. We had Mutton Pulav which is special at this mess which tastes Very Good. Chicken Pulav was also good. Loved the ambience too.

Have been visiting this place from 10yrs. Same taste and quality. Very humble staff and owner. Awesome taste but bit less quantity when compared to original hanumanthu and way more better in taste than original hanumanthu. Very limited menu is the only disappointment.

The mutton pulav is a great dish here. It's of ₹250 and the quality plus the quantity is great, taste is too good and it's quantity is sufficient for one person.

Chicken pulav is perfectly cooked in firewood. One of the best in mysore. Ambience is poor. But the food is worth the chaos

One of the worst ever hotels in my life time. Kodumai (tamil). In local if you ask almost everyone will refer this hotel we believed those words and rush to hotel to taste the food.

But what we experienced is totally a pathetic food which served by one servant and apologies to say this she looks so dirty and the way she handle the food you will feel vomiting if you saw that scene.

Please guys don't believe locals words. Don't try this.

Had been here today though of taking couple of plate parcel came home and found out that pure use of dalda product not even oil the actual style of making.

That old flavors has been disappeared now I guess it's just a business over here there is no anything like that traditional style of cooking.

Super lunch. Amazing mutton pulav with lever fry and keema balls along with Dr Rajkumar melodies playing in the background was a surreal tasty experience.

Unhygienic and worst experience, worst food and I went to wash my hands and I felt like not to wash my hands because the water was so dirty. I didn't even drink drop of water it was so unhygienic I was shocked to see the water colour it was brown in colour. 1) Never ever vist this place 2) Don't forget 1st point.

Small hotel with limited sitting arrangements. Mutton pulao is nice but not upto the expectation. Ask for half plate pulao that will be enough for a normal appetite person. If you are traveling to Mysore give it a try.

Traditional taste of mutton pulav is available here. Maintenaning the same taste from 1930 is great thing and people who love only to eat mutton, it is the only perfect place to plan your lunch when you visit mysore. Beware of replica's Hanumanthu mess only the original mess will have year mentioned on the board

Famous in Mysore. But I didn't like the taste much. Usually crowded on Sundays but the hotel is small. They serve food on leaf not plates.

If someone looking to taste the authentic Chicken /Mutton pulav or biryani this place is must visit.

Very small place which has been visited by a lot of well known people from Karnataka and India.
The best part about the food is that it's fresh, the palav is light and mutton tender which makes the dish Sought after. It's always crowded so be ready to wait a long time to get seating and served. I've eaten here multiple times and personally the charm is just reducing each time I eat here, I still come here to enjoy a palav every now and then when I feel like eating authentic Mysore style food.

Chicken pulav is very good and tasty.nice soft cooked chicken pulav.but I missed mutton pulav.one who get chance to visit mysore should try for this hotel.really the taste ia good, digested and satisfied

Mutton pulav is famous here and they serve a very less quantity in 200 rs.

It’s pretty good the price is pretty good for them what you get. It’s a basic restaurant, if you want vegetarian food there is not really any options. But there is good martin and chicken dishes

The rice used for Biryani is excellent and very quick on service. For me it Mutton Biryani tasted okay may be because I had around 4 pm. Not an ideal time also No of pieces less considering price they charge.

If your crossing or in mysuru this place would be a best choice to have a biryani sorry chicken PALAUV for breakfast.
Kheema, fry, chops are the other operations you have.

It's not biryani but HANUMANTHU MUTTON PALAV! The food is just wonderful, a worth of our time, money and taste. It's is situated in Mysore a definite place to visit in MYSURU.

If you are in mysore and a non veg lover, don't miss this place for biryani. Very old and famous restaurant.

After hearing the tradition of the hotel, we visited the place for lunch. Very small and congested restaurant. But the motton biriyani / pulao was nice and different from other places. But it is very difficult to go with family there and take food by siiting there.

I AM ONE OF THE OLDEST CUSTOMER FOR MORE THAN 50 YRS, AND WHAT MORE TESTIMONY ONE NEEDS, NOW THE THIRD GENERATION HAS TAKEN THE BATAIN AND IMPROVED A LOT IF U LOVE GOOD FOOD, U WILL NEVER FORGET TO STOP. ENJOY THE BEST NON-VEG WITH JOY.

Limited menu with unlimited taste. Love the dishes. Small outlet with big name. Kudos to the management who has been running the business.

How can I forget their Mutton pulao. I found this place during a random visit to Mysore. The shop is very old and the taste if the food is also so authentic. No wonder why this is still popular.

My friend took me to this place by saying have you tasted this hanumanthu briyani, I told no I have heard about it but no. Immediately he took me to this hotel saying then u must taste the original one, I said okay and we went there by 10 am I guess. And he ordered this mutton briyani and keema, guys trust me this is the best hotel to taste, being a spicy lover u will enjoy it to the core
