The place and activities are not as shown in the photos. Food and service was good. Overpriced for the available activities and location

Extremely overpriced for the kind of services and maintenance. Pool is not cleaned properly and has moulds all around.
Food buffet is ok. Rooms are not very good according to price. Mantainence could have been much better.

Good place to hang out with family for a night. Given 3 stars as bathrooms were not so clean, tap broken. Very good service, staff are very friendly. Last 2 to 3 kms stretch of the road to resort is really bad. Can include more activities within package instead of charging separately, that too charges are little high. Crowd management over the weekend can be better.

All together an average experience. Travelling to that place is pretty tough.from the main road almost 3 to 4 km on a pretty bad road.food was ok. I lost the way to reach over there

We stayed for a night there and the experience was mixed overall.

Location: It's located deep inside Haseegatta Village and accessibility is an issue. The location marked in map is incorrect and you have to ask the locals to get to the location. They should put the direction board before the correct turn that will save some time.
Once you reach, you get the actual Village Vibe. Sound of birds, peacock will welcome you which uplifts your mood. There won't be any vehicle sound. They started in 2006 when the proposed Bangalore Airport was to be moved to a nearby location, however after terrain study it was moved to devanahalli.

Rooms: Rooms are decently large with a big balcony. However mattresses are average and we had difficulty sleeping there. Good power backup and hot water availability is a plus. There is no room service available.

Dining: Decent food. Decent options to choose from. They provide buffet only on Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

Activities: Not much to do here. They mention they have badminton, tennis, basketball and few others but frankly you will not feel like going for it. You can go out for nature walk in the mornings or evening to witness a peacock.

Completely avoid going here for food alone. Limited choice, not tasty, but cost high. Bill given after I asked showed less amount than what was charged on my credit card. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere where you get value for your money.

Highly recommended by a good friend and so checked it out virtually. Location and the restaurant are supposed to be very good. Approach road is supposedly a very rough ride.

Pros:
1. Great spot for a long drive - which we knew of and made the decision of trying the place out.

Cons:
1. Pathetic food & food service - Rs. 770 for a buffet which constituted of: white rice, jeera rice, dhal fry, vegetable fry, chicken dry, chicken curry.there was no biryani or anything to justify the high priced meal.food was totally tasteless.
2. Food service: Food items were closed much before the actual timing of 3PM.there was NO ONE to look into replenishing dishes that were finished back into the serving bowls.soup was closed and there were no one available to report this. Pappads were closed too.
3. Poor activities: For a high priced day package of Rs. 1300, there were cycles with no brakes, one short bullock cart ride, poorly maintained outdoor sport items like badminton, basketball, unkempt and unclean swimming pool.indoor games were poorly maintained too.
4. Poor activity service: It required a walk to the admin office for EACH and EVERYTHING.again NO ONE walking around to check if everything was in place.
5. Water bottles: Waterbottles with an MRP of Rs. 20 sold for Rs. 60

Overall it was a HUGE disappointment to visit this place.especially on New Year's Day.

I have never given such a detailed review for anything in the past.phew! Simply shows my disappointment.

This is a good place where you want to go for a long drive outside city and you want to spend full day. If you go with a large group even better. But not recommended for night staying. We had a bad experience. This is a good property with lot of possibilities. But someone just made a one time investment and that's it. No maintenance of rooms, bathrooms, play areas, food is pathetic, basically nothing to do after sunset. They could have arranged bonfire, some cultural program or something, but management is least bothered. Food is also bad. If you are late for lunch, dinner you will be served cold food. No body puts effort to keep it warm also. Only saving grace is weather and politeness of staff. My kids enjoyed watching few animals, chicken and ducks. Looking into the experience, it is a highly overpriced resort.

I am actually shocked to see the recent reviews. We stayed there yesterday, rooms are very dirty and smelly. Corona has hit them hard, very understaffed. Apparently it was good once upon a time. Food is ok, activities are pottery and bullock cart ride. Mosquito infested and unkept property. It was said to see it that way actually.

I had almost missed this place due to my confusion over mixed reviews. Finally gave it a try to see for myself to be able to take my boys for fun in nature near city. Saddened why people put negative reviews, such great place though an eco resort, still having all sorts of facilities and well maintained. Great experience for the boys, my son and dog had so much fun, pollution free environment, tasty healthy food, polite staff, well maintained property. Learnt not to believe negativity blindly, try it to believe it. It's underrated and better than many other so called pet friendly resorts.

Very nice resort in the calm of the nature. Pet friendly. Ideal of family outing. They do have a good spa. Food is good. Kids loved the place. Staff have good covid sense.

Absolutely magnificent experience yet again. This place, it's location, it's people and it's surroundings makes me happy everytime I visit. My 8 th trip here and I am going back with even better memories. Thank you Poonam tipnis, basu, amar Singh, manju and all the excellent staff and chefs. You made mine and my family's weekend!

Couldn't find the place using maps. Plus the resort doesn't have a phone to contact and there customer care is useless. Wasted over 1 hour to look for the place but couldn't find it

Just an hour from the city, Resort isn’t outstanding but great place for a change, super tasty food, little expensive as per the ambience.
Overall not bad.

We had an awesome stay at the Property! The best past part was food and staf were well behaved. Everything at the Resort was up and above our expectations. Must visit if your looking out for something close to nature.

The place is good for a day's trip. Cordial staff. Pottery, Bullock cart experiences are good. Outdoor games etc can be done. Pets are allowedv which is good.

But for stay this place is a strict no no. Horribly maintained rooms. Very dirty bed sheets almost reddish due to mud. Hopeless restrooms with flushes out of order. The power keeps going out at times. Fixtures falling apart. Stay is not recommended at all.

Then comes the food. That is not great either. Some of the veg items is good. But overall not a good experience with food.

Pool seemed extremely dirty.

Place is overpriced for the quality.

Sustainable living introduced here right from 2003! The rooms are amazing and it’s just a 30-45 minute drive from the heart of Bangalore!

Good.we felt like a home away from home. Food was very good. Staff was caring, very kind and considerate.

We stayed at this location for overnight. Here are my views:
1) this places for the facilities they provide is expensive
2) rooms were unhygienic. Evening smoke provided in rooms to remove mosquitos stayed for long time and made our life miserable
3) lunch and dinner food was not upto mark. Though they charge 650+ 18% gst.but provide cold food and taste not upto mark
4) no bonefire. We had to almost beg to get bonefire in evening. When they finally put some fire, fire went off in 30min and they declined to add wood saying bonefire is only for one hour. Left a very bad taste in mouth
5) all the facilities you see in pictures are not maintained well. Bat was broken, ball was torn. Volleyball net was torn n loose.there were no real activities. Have been to much better places around Bangalore
6) water provided in bottles is unhygienic. We saw algae in one of the bottles. Were really worried post seeing algae.
7) some of the staff members behaviour is also not something they can be proud of. If you request for something, they tend to ignore you.

Overall, wouldn't recommend or visit this place again untill and unless they get their acts together.

They charge very high against facilities being provided. This property is very small and not managed properly durian this time. Anyone visiting this place will certainly get bored in 2-3 hours. It's better to stay in 4-5 star hotel than staying in this native village. Only thing I could appreciate is food and courtesy of people there. You may not like cleanliness of rooms/bathrroms also after paying so much.

Great place to relax in outskirts.village resort. Hve visited twice and had a good experience.

It’s a nice place to enjoy nature which is located near the city. Staff are friendly and food was good especially breakfast. We bought breakfast, lunch and hi tea package, we didn’t stay till hi tea though. There are quite enough activities, not boring both for children and adults. They have many different type of animals like chickens, rabbits, turkeys and ducks. There were lots of crowd for wedding party, it was a bit uncomfortable and worried.

At Our Native Village, Ms Himadri and her exceptional team will make sure the family had a memorable time. Great for families, especially kids, to experience farm life. All facilities in place. Food is home-like and remember you are not out for a synthetic break. A huge thumbs up and a bug thank you for such a lovely time.

Wonderful quiet country setting. Good size rooms but bathroom ceiling had a leak which we had to put a bucket under. We told staff but nothing was done. Overall the food was great, and the service was really warm and friendly. The people really made our stay extremely pleasant, and fun! Would recommend this place, but the accommodation is only 3 stars really. I did not think the standard was up to the pricing levels. So not really value for money. But I enjoyed it very much, as we had a family reunion here and the staff and manager were so helpful and friendly, and tried so hard to make us welcome.

Very pleasant place. Nice get away to relax with family and kids. Food average, it used to be better earlier.

The hotel cancelled 48 hours before we arrived. The worst part is, they did not even bother to inform me. I had called to ask something about check in time when they told me our reservation was cancelled. Terrible management.

U people must visite our native village resort once, its an awesome place all new experieances all village games, activities and atmosphere.
Children will love and enjoy this place many farm animlas are also there. The guide iver there named Prashanth he did a great job for us.thank u for a worderfull place

Pretty good experience for a family with a dog. It's better to be aware what all the package you opt for includes as they might charge you unnecessarily for activities. Wish they could also allow pets in the pool or have another smaller pool that's pet friendly.

It was a different experience, but some might not like the place, Please be careful on the road lower cars will have bad time

The most awesome place for a pet friendly weekend getaway. Watson my dog loved the open spaces and the super friendly staff and special pet meals that were prepared for her. The air is fresh and crisp, and you can go high all by yourself, staring into the clear night skies, or even cloudy ones. Amazing bonfire at night and the food is yumm. You are left to yourself a d that is so important. Service is almost perfect. Completely worth it. I've been here twice already.

The worst customer service they have now especially the management is horrible. And tge roads are so screwed that ur vehicals will completey damaged. Please never visit this pls ever.manager there is of no use.

A village experience in true sense, away from all kind of gadgetry. Satvik Food & serene location makes it a must visit.

If it is not in your bucket list, avoid. But yes, appears to be only dog friendly resort around Bangalore. So, if you wish to spend a fun weekend with your pet, a must visit place.

Pathetic place with no road connectivity at all. The roads were so slushy that we had to return without visiting the resort. The resort phone numbers were switched off and did not even bother even when we had prebooking. If you guys have some business ethics left at least you could do is to call in advance and say that you cannot offer services. Waste of money, time and effort. Worst place never visit here

One of the best place with good rooms and ambience. Staff here is really good and very polite. Had a great time with my team. Food here is awesome especially the veg items.

Nice place but i think it isn't value for money. Could be better. Also there are no proper directions to reach the property and roads are very bad. Request the management to do something about both these aspects.

Location is good. It's a relaxing place.
Pool is unusable. Food is just average. Nothing much to do for kids.

This is a village theme resort. They have rooms for overnight stay. Breakfast was good and lunch was average. There is a swimming pool and spa if you want to relax. Big play gound is available for outdoor games like cricket, volleyball. The road from resort to main road is not in good condition. It is a temporary road.

Not a nice place to stay here and also work here talked with a staff he said they don't treat them well

Fine property but difficult to reach. Rooms are ok. There were few cockroaches in the room. They offer few activities for which I have attached the photographs (Cycling is Chargeable). Expected some good number of birds but could see only crows and pigeons. Yes, there were few ducks, rabbits, 1 turkey and 2 different species birds kept at the resort. Home like food with limited variety. Swimming Pool was not clean so we skipped playing in it. There are few dogs in the property which went into barking spree while we went out for jogging in the morning. Overall, the property is fine for 1 day visit nothing much to boast upon.

It's a decent place, smaller than expected, no real experience of the village except for the road making inwards towards the resort.
It's like another small hotel in the middle of nowhere.
The rooms are tidy, the activities mentioned only sound promising on paper however you have to pretty much rely on yourself for entertainment.
The food is ok, was expecting a village cuisine but does not really offer that experience.
All in all not worth the penny you are paying and the time.

Stayed for a couple of days. Feels good like stay in village. Very calm locality in the outskirts of Bangalore.

Our Native Village is good place to be stay in nature. Surrounded by lot of trees. You can spot rabbits, peacock around the hotel. Rooms are good, traditional themed beds are in each room, room's are fresh and large.

You can go for walk early morning. Best thing is the pool location. In the evening you can spend lot of time sitting near the pool. Spa is available near pool area.

You can play volleyball, learn pottery or ride on bullock cart. Early morning Yoga is also available.

Food is ok not lot of varieties.

Its kind of ok.quite far. However, good place to be out of city one day.
One can enjoy the natural games, lost from our daily city life. Food is ok, very less variety, mostly for non-veg items.
Don't take big busses, you need to park little far (~1.5 km away).

Very difficult to reach the resort. Isolated from main road. People are very friendly and some of the experience are truly amazing. Most liked activity is Bullock cart ride.
You may not have plenty of choice for all meal courses but the taste was good.
I would recommend one time visit.

Quite interior, good for a long drive away from city. The last 2-3 kms is off-roading (not exactly), yeah no asphalt or concrete, pure red mud. Although it looks good for few clicks but riding bikes is not recommended. The resort has a huge pool but max 4.5 ins deep, there's a small ground to play your favorite sport, a carrom board, Bullock cart and few cycles. Huge rooms with AC and clean washrooms makes it a comfortable stay. Would've given a five had I liked the food.

Worst resort I have ever visited. Food is pathetic and be ready to fall sick due to no mineral water and lot of mosquitos

Kids friendly resort. Nice experience with village activities like pottery, cow milking. Awesome food and good service. Best place for a day out near Bangalore.
