OYO 10534 Hotel Kanishka

Restaurant was good but the service was not upto the mark. The waiter was rude. It was a business meeting.

The room was spacious but lacked furniture for desk jobs (laptop stand/table/working space of 5'×2.5' would be great,
Housekeeping was only once in 24 hours.

Worth as charged.
But definately management need to visit each room and identify short comings.

Hotel Kanishka is a landmark in Gandhinagar area of Bangalore. A very old and reputed hotel. This has been recently renovated. The ambience, parking, approach etc are great.

No hygieneic, western toilet not flushing properly. Some of lights not in working condition.

Uneasy but cool, for any issues case is reffered to OYO and customers are left at there helm. Room service are very lazy you have wait for at least 30min for normal drinking water.

I liked this hotel pleasant atmosphere and staff are very good and they're helpful to know the surroundings

An average hotel, rooms are not that great but ok for a night's stay. Couples allowed. In-house restaurant not available, however one gets to order food from their room. Room services is not that great. It take about 20 mins from the railway station to reach there. Toilets were neat, which in fact was my only motivation to stay there. I went to Bangalore for my work, so it was ok for a day's stay.

Just checked out from this place, the most hopeless experience. I request visitors not to book this hotel. I book it through OYO, the photo that were shown is totally misguiding, walls of the room had "damped patches", cockroaches roaming around, door lock was broken, everything was worst. However, the most worst part was that, the receptionist took my mobile and rated it himself at the OYO feedback form that we receive while checking out.

Room is big.but not smelling good. People at reception were helpful. No water served in room. Did not return my driving license. Need to go back and collect.

The rooms shown in the website and the rooms given to us were not at all same. The condition of the bathroom was pathetic. The rooms are not at all properly maintained. Had I had option to upload a photo I would have done it. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone if they are seeing the website and booking.

Everything was good. But the walls had stains, the tv was not working, the towels were powdery and there was no dustbin. The room was comfortable and clean on the whole.

Bad rooms, unhygienic seats, rude staff, there was a really bad odour in the room when i entered and fungus on walls.

When i told them about the problem, they said hotel is 100 yr old, if you have any problem go to another hotel.

This place is equally good and bad. The rooms have all the facilities.but you might find the AC distorted, the cupboard stinking, bugs on the furniture, fungus in the dustbin, a phone with a low volume hearing piece, room service which brings you tap water when you ask for R. O, and also picks up the call and ignore.or doesn't pick up either. I would suggest you to choose wisely!

Not as shown in photos, stingy rooms, very poor service. Poor atmosphere, food coupon food quality very very bad, will never recommend to anyone?

Very poor service. I booked for dinner & breakfast as complimentary but they charged me. Also they provide me the food bill by the name of different hotel 'Mathura'.

Oyo is very irresponsible. The hotel does not allow local ids still they allow booking on the app. Now Oyo isn't even redirecting to a proper alternative. We are still standing infront of the hotel with 0 assistance and a heavy rainfall.

Do not go to this hotel. Terrible service. If you booked from oyo they will tell you straight up that the rooms in photos are not available in the hotel. We booked via Oyo and the rooms we got were not clean. The hotel itself is a mess. It's not clean. The mirrors were dirty so was the bathroom. And even the sheets were not changed. We had to request for a change. The staff is not friendly at all. So better to pay some extra bucks and stay at a good hotel. AVOID AT ALL COST. YOU WILL REGRET IT LATER

Not satisfied with the service. Didn't get the condiments like body moisturizer, soap etc. Didn't expected such poor service from OYO

It's like an icon in Gandhinagar coz it's been here for a long time. It had a great restaurant before. One of the best of it's kind. Now it's take over by someone else and not that good. The lodges are pretty old but good.

The service is pretty good. The rooms are way more spacious than top-notch hotels of the city. Huge parking area inside the premises of the hotel itself. The only negative point is the not-so-good restaurant of the hotel. Though pretty reasonable, yet not much of a variety in the items served.

This is the worst hotel. I would never recommend this to anyone. I booked my AC room 2 days ago and after reaching their they are saying 'we don't have rooms, you can wait for 2 hours or go look for other hotels '. After one hour of argument they gave us non A. C room with 200 rs. Extra charge. They also denied for complimentary breakfast as mentioned in Oyo app. TV's don't work. You can even not get water to drink on time in this hotel.they have only 3 waiters running up and down for 95 rooms.there is a appeal to everyone not to go on ratings on oyo app. They all are fake.

Worst possible restaurant to visit currently. Had seen this restaurant long back in glory and good was awesome. Currently run down and embarrassing to visit

Currently, the road white cement topping work is going on along with foot path construction work. This is causing lot of pollution and traffic issues in whole Gandhinagar. Otherwise, hotel is spacious, however old, and food is okay

Towels arrived much later. Toiletries were not provided by oyo at the beginning. Room service representative brought it in three days later. Two separate beds were provided even after mentioning that we r a couple. Old building and fixtures. Leakage from faucet. TV wouldn't work. 700mb of internet is provided everyday. The restaurant does not respond often. It also messed up d orders. Rooms are spacious. Gives a rustic feeling which I wouldn't mind a lot. For hot water one must waste two buckets of cold water which was a guilt trip for my partner who cannot shower in cold water and especially considering water shortage in the country. Room attendants number is not attended to much. Reception too is not always responsive. Plastic spoon was provided for food in a hotel with a restaurant. Considering the problem of plastic consumption, atleast hotels can keep steel cutlery. Also they did not provide with plates and cutlery if we bought food from outside. Room cleaning services were only provided until 12 in the noon which is not a complaint but it would've been better if we were informed about it. However, it was a good service. They did the best they could. Breakfast was almost the same everyday. Somehow it was nt a very welcoming stay. After knocking, they are not patient enough to wait for the person to open the door which was rude and could be embarrassing. The water pressure in the shower was very good providing a relaxing shower.

I booked through OYO rooms
Pathetic experience, bedsheets were not fresh, Changed my room twice without any reason. Ac vents were dirty as sewage, there were alcohol smell in the corridor. If you are traveling with your family, try to get some other, there better options near by.

I got an entirely different room than the website.
Hotel staff and breakfast was good.
They have provided a room in that AC have not worked properly and water is dripped from.the AC and spread all over the floor.
Our sleep was disturbed due to noises from surroundings.
It is not a perfect hotel for families.
