Worst service and place, food is pathetic. Local bar and restaurant waiters are still well mannered with attitude then these.

We stayed for a day here in an ac room. The room was spacious and clean. The view wasn't that great. Hot water was available 24*7. However room smelled of cigarettes and there was disturbance from pub above one floor. There was no vegetarian restaurant attached and parking available only for 10 cars and others had to park along the main road. Not recommended for family with small kids.

Stayed there for a night. Very nasty ambience. Dirty rooms were given to us inspite of me following up with them for nearly 5 days. They have a cheap bar on the top floor and being a Sunday they said all their staff are there only and only one person was there to clean the rooms and everything came to us after such a prolonged time. No parking and bar music was honking till mid of night. So many Strangers coming and going. No safety for the guests Dirty towels, dirty restrooms, dirty rooms, service very very poor. No response from the staff. Horrible experience. Don't go this hotel at any cost. We checked in at 9.20 p.m. And were not able to stay there that night, hardly slept and we vacated early in the morning at about 5.30 a.m. And checked in into a good hotel in Chikmangalur. Worst experience never ever go there.

Rooms were okiesh, not clean. We checked in, went to Halebeedu and came back, to our surprise, we were welcomed by Cockroaches in the room.

Room service is the slowest. By the time food is prepared and served, the food had become cold. We had to ask to reheat again. But the staff are courteous.

Great place for a stay if you are planning to stay with a family! Spacious and clean rooms with clean bathrooms and they also have restaurant. Overall a great experience!

There's a pub above the hotel. Also a decent restaurant below the hotel.

The staff were very rude.
I had booked the hotel through OYO rooms the booking was confirmed and I had paid the full amount also. They just cancelled by booking on the day without even intimating me prior. When me and my family were supposed to check in on the same date they were refusing and we're asking extra money from us.
The staff were very rude as I said earlier. She just hung up the phone without even understanding my situation. Late night 11 PM where I'm supposed to go elsewhere with my family after all i booked 2 rooms and regardless there were 2 ladies with me.
I would have rated zero.
These people are fraudsters.

Good location to stay in Belur, next to main road and with in 3kms to main temple. Not to expect much hospitality as you see in 3 star hotels. The pub in 3rd floor can be little discomfort to stay in rooms.

This is no less than an Authentic 5 star hotel! The room was clean, very quiet and very well prepared. The service I received was fantastic, and I felt very welcomed. Public spaces are glorious. I was sad not to stay longer. The rooms are lovely and very spacious. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. They have live music in the lobby hall, which is pretty relaxing. Their restaurants are also great, covering almost everything you can expect with decent tastes. It also have a pub in the top floor. I didn't experience any unpleasant during my stay.

Plz don"t go with photos uploaded on website, worst place I have ever visited, room is having bad smell, bathroom were worst (felting like vomiting), 1 star in all aspects.

Really should not go to this hotel. We are all booked in online 5 Rooms. We paid amount also in online. But this hotel front office team not responding properly. They said to me Only we can give two rooms in that price. Don't go and perticulary don't book in online. Really we suffered entire family with kids in midnight time.

Worst room service, lights in the bathroom are not functioning. Loud sound of the music which was coming from the above floor at night time (the hotel has a pub at it's 3rd floor).

Still don't understand how this hotel has received 3.9 rating.
Don't book this hotel through any of the online platforms and if so done, you get cheated once you reach the hotel.

Kindly do not book this hotel through any of the online booking platforms. We (2 families with children) were in a bad situation when we booked two rooms through OYO and received booking confirmation after paying the full amount. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist informed us that there were no rooms available and that this had been communicated to OYO. (The hotel played the game.) we understand the game played by hotels. Assuming a night out with family, they would never go to another location and book a room, let alone pay a high price for it

3rd class staff and stupid hotel policy. Our reservation which was fully paid was cancelled stating they are full and providing rooms to people who pay more at the walk-in on cost of our reservation in front of us. I have not even received confirmation on refund yet by booking agency. Strictly avoid this property.

The food is worst quality and bad service. And they take lot of time to prepare food and didn’t take the order properly. Never recommend this hotel

Big AC room. Good stay in Belur

Room was excellent, however on the website it was mentioned they would provide free breakfast which wasn't available, and I think its very much important to have basic necessities such as milk at least at the hotel, I am sure guests who come along with their children can relate to this. Staff's can smile a little more. Rest was all good.

Something is better than nothing kind of hotel because in Belur there dearth of good quality hotels

Comfortable place. Good location. Awesome food. Could be cleaner (e.g. Windows), AC shouldn't need request to turn on, Hot Water should be available without request.

We had visited this place 1st week of Jan, 2020. Only good point is its very near to belur temple. It's not any international hotel but kind of roadside local hotel. Will not recommend for family and kids. Complimentary bf has only one plate idli and tea. Didn't like the food and had dinner outside.

For Belur perhaps one of the bigger hotels. Rooms are quite spacious & with necessities required. Its biggest drawback is cleanliness not being good. It houses multicuisine restaurant including a pub at 3 floor. Restaurant which is an annexe from outside is open to all including outsiders. Cleanliness once again is a casualty & food is average.

PLEASE STAY AWAY. THIS IS NOT A PALCE FOR FAMILY. BATHROOMS were never cleaned from the time it was installed. NEVER EVER PREFER here

Not good.they have given a room with not working AC and not working TV. But they have collected money for AC room. Not good.

I booked a standard suite room, breakfast was not provided even though it was added in agoda app.
But the breakfast issue was with the booking app and the hotel was not responsible for it.
Room was okay, not too clean but was tolerable. Service was the best.
Will stay here again if I visit belur again.

The Rooms & Bathrooms didn't maintained properly.
Bathroom were dirty also the Blanket and bedsheets were not washed well. The bucket in the bathroom was dirty. The tiles on bathroom was muddy, The wash basin also not cleaned well. At night there was lot of noise from outside, so couldn't sleep well. Please don't choose this property.
The white curtains were black in color. The hospitality is very poor in this place

Very bad experience! Lack of hygiene, chocked bathroom, no response to requests, hot water wasn't coming in this winter season, parking problem, dirty serving dishes and poor (veg) food quality and lastly no final bill was provided at the time of check out despite several requests.

The hotel was around 659 meters from the Hassan bus stand. Hotel was located on the Hassan road highway with ample space for parking. The customer services were too good and everyone was too humble. Most of the food items in the menu were available. They also had the facility of hot drinks within the premises and also along with a pub on the top floor. Room was too good and clean. We were really happy with our stay. And surely can recommend to others.

Booked this place through oyo, when we reached there they said no rooms in middle of the night 2am then told to cancel oyo booking and gave a room. But it was embarrassing to stand out in a new city at 2am not knowing what to do.

This restaurant is worst, me and friend came to have lunch and the people here were least bothered to attend there customers.wasted 20 minutes and came off.

It was a okay okay stay. Oyo has listed it in premium hotels but it was not up to that mark. Rommel was clean and neat. Staff were polite. Price can be lowered a bit.

If this is good hotel in Belur, that's because standards are so low in India. The rooms looked good initially but they hid lot of issues. They were never cleaned properly, under bed I saw one inch of dust. There were many cockroaches, i saw a cockroach on the bed also. The bathroom had insects and cobwebs. The corridors were not cleaned till late afternoon.

Great stay in Belur. 1 of the best hotel in belur. Amazingly for that place they have a pub with Dance floor

Pros: Hot water always. Spacious rooms. Very much affordable price. There was attached pub and restaurant.

Cons: Food was horrible. Beside the service person kept forgetting every little thing which we had to keep asking over and again!

We had a late night plan of visiting chikmaglur on the way we found this place doesn't looks like a 3 star hotel from the outside but the rooms are good quite comfy and accommodating. The only problem we faced here was the AC which initially was not working and i believe that's a common problem everywhere eventually it worked. Had a pleasant stay, The staff were polite and and helpful. Overall a good place for a short budget stay.

Hotel location is good. Staff was good. They have a restaurant for food below the hotel. They made us wait for a while for food. Later we went to our rooms for good. Rooms were good. Service was good. They have this mini fridge which was nice.

Very bad hospitality. These people doesn't know how to host a guest. Better convert your category from 3 star to local Lodge.
We came all the way from alleppey to visit belur temple. We reached here by 11 pm. But the people stood in reception never offer a helping hand to carry my luggage. Or gave as mineral water. They treated us like some unwanted people who trespassing their property.
Please change the attitude of the people to get good name for your hotel.

Belur has a pub! Can't believe right? Even we didn't. But it has a great one! Loved the food here. Great taste. Drinks at affordable prices!

It was a pleasant stay in this hotel. Hotel is centrally located which makes other tourist places accessible. I was bit suspicious before entering inside the hotel but after seeing the corridor n room the view got change completely.
It was a nice, clean & spacious room with all required facilities TV, cabinet, small fridge with clean toilet.
There is enough parking in front of the hotel. This hotel has a huge ramp which makes it wheelchair accessible. The staff were helpful and gentle. The room service was quite fast. They have restaurant which remain open till 11pm with tasteful food.

The improvement areas I could see were clothing quality like towels & pillows, as well as range of breakfast were limited.

The complimentary breakfast which was arranged outside the hotel. The original cost of the breakfast was INR 90 where as the OYO charged us INR 195. When we asked the owner of the hotel. He said that it is headache of you. You can check with OYO customer care and behaved very rudely with the customers.

Booked two rooms through OYO. That’s the reason two stars. Otherwise the hotel rooms were good. It could get at least 4 stars. While booking telephonically OYO offered breakfast. But BF not included when received confirmatory mail. However OYO confirmed BF was there in the OYO system and there wouldn’t be any problem when we stay there. However the hotel refused BF since they received confirmation without BF. Even after complaint on the checked in day, OYO didn’t bother to solve the issue. We checked out without having BF.

Ample parking was available in front of the hotel. Market and Belur Temples are walkable distance. There is small dosa outlet in front of the hotel.

The location of hotel is at good place but the staff behavior is not at all professional they don't know his to treat customers. Rooms are decent and spacious and about restaurant the food is okay.dal is really good so you can order. Over all our experience is okay with this place.

Located just at the periphery of Belur, Hotel Samanvi is a travellers delight <3. The rooms are well furnished and has a 'new' kind of look. The restaurant below is fantastic and has a separate room for families. The staff and management is well behaved and very helpful. Overall a wonderful experience at this hotel:)

There are only few good lodges in the vicinity. I would recommend this hotel who wants to stay in Belue for a day or two. Main temple distance from this hotel is about 1KM. Distance of nearby Dam is about 3-4 KM.
