OYO Sushma Lodge

Until I stepped in the hotel, I wished the rooms would be atleast ok type. But my worries was right. The rooms were worst ever I've stayed in.
Stinky rooms, dampness on the walls, TV was not working and hot water in the morning only. Room service was ok. It was cost me around Rs 3000/- for a day. Actually the cost of the rooms will not exceed Rs1000/-.
OYO should do something about its brand name. If it is mentioned FAMILY ROOMS, then it should be like family stay. Disappointed.

Worst experience. Very bad rooms. I don't recommend.

Rooms looking like very old. Shower wasn't working. Water smells clorin.

I'll not even prefer here. Because the rooms are not at all good. They didn't even keep clean. Bedsheet everything is dirty and AC And Fans everything is not working properly and even the price also high

Room had big spiders and definitely not the clean room. Not worth paying and staying there

Disclaimer: All rooms are not same and it will vary if maintenance work undertaken. No wifi, hot water, broken tap, broken bathroom door, dirty linens, air conditioner not working satisfactoryly, etc. No need to say thousand words, Just see the Photos, and other reviews. While opening the door itself, the feeling of cheap room comes to mind and not the promised one by OYO. Also consider the fact that the hotel provides water from the open well which is located in front of the hotel. The owner advised me why made the hotel booking for so many days at a stretch and if you don't like the room then who will refund you? True, book it for one night, then there's plenty of hotel available, explore them on arrival. Open car parking space is available.

If there is a negative rating I would give it to this hotel. Worst ever hotel I have ever seen. In the other hand I do not know how the rating is 4.1. In pics the hotel looks very good but when you see it in person you will vomit. The room was very stinky and the bathroom are the dirtiest and smells like drainage. The Oyo executive told us that it is the best hotel. Never believe this oyo executive and always pay after looking at the property. Also, they did not refund my money or provided me alternate accommodation.

We reached this hotel at 11: 50 PM AT night as our train was late, Manager misbehaved with us, I had booking through OYO but they denied us to check in saying no availability, and asked us to book offline by paying more money.

Hotel is bad from every point of view. The location is very inconvenient. It is at end point of Manipal, in 100 meters Manual ends. There are no taxi, auto available. The hotel has no restaurant of its own, not even tea is available there. No restaurant is nearby. Nearest tea, breakfast, meal is at about 2 kms. Rooms are small, bath toilet not good. Hot water not available. The hotel advertises on internet that it gives breakfast, it has own restaurant etc but nothing is there. Even inside hotel such facility boards are exhibited, but nothing exists. Staff is uncooperative, doesn't know language except Kannada. Price is high for the room and facilities. I was given a room where toilet flush, water were not working. Staff doesn't help in carrying luggage to room. No lift, one has to carry own luggage hoti second floor. Mosquito menace is there. Charged more than agreed with OYO for early check in. Even drinking water, bottle not available there. Location is horrible. Only because of OYO Advt people go there. Highly NOT recommended.

Not satisfied with conditions of rooms, seepage walls, service is good, condition of rooms and water tap to be rectified

Never book in this, even though I booked 2 rooms as per their directions 15days before, just the day before, they dropped the reservation saying property not available causing me all short of last minute change and troubles followed with it. Would never recommend this for such a cruel way of troubling the family at last minute.

The stay was horrible I forgot to take the pictures of the room I have seen the room pics in oyo app there and who was very horrible

They were forcing me to pay the full amount before checking in the room and when I told there is no such policy from Oyo so they were like no they won't accept the booking before paying and even the Oyo representative told me over the call that you need not pay the full amount at the time of checking in still they were like either pay or cancel the booking.

I will surely recommended to not to go for this lodge very very poor, they have not done any cleaning and bed bugs are there in the beds, one of the worst lodge i have ever seen, worst faculty there is hot water and flush is not working in the wash room we come out in the mid night and we searched for another rooms and went there

Pros- Easily accessible, well behaved and courteous staff
Cons- Old and not so clean room, Bit pricey if you consider the quality of the rooms

We had one of the worst possible stays, the bathrooms were extremely unhygienic and dirty to use. The bedsheets, bedcovers and the quilt were unchanged and moist and had an awful lot of bed bugs. The floors and sinks were also unclean. Extremely unhappy with the whole experience.

The worst experience with booking reservation through oyo customer service. I made a reservation at 6 pm with a free cancellation till check in. I could not reach the place due to vehicle issue. I tried to call service support to cancel but they just keep the call on hold forever. They didn't not refund anything. Moreover tried to call the property and it just gets disconnected with ivr response.
I don't recommend reservations with oyo or to this property. I can share the call experience with oyo customer service for anyone needed

The staff is so arrogant, not ready to listen and speaks so rudely to costumer, they say it’s there property not OYO, OYO ppl should check with them, no proper wifi, horrible experience, if your planning to stay plz stay some where else I hope this helps other tourists not to suffer like how we had to
