Paakashala Sira

AC wasn't functioning, it was kind of suffocation. Otherwise it's a nice place to have good food. It was overcrowded due to the holiday. Coz of the crowd the staff was also kind of exhausted.

Our second visit to Paakashala after the one on Neelamangala to Chikmagalur highway. The consistency of food quality is amazing. Their taste, service quality and speed are much better than Kamat Upachar. All vegetarian dishes are good. You would be confused to choose one. South Indian and North Indian meals are the most preferred items here. But even their North Indian veg curries are yum. Lot of dessert options too. Enough parking space available.

Food and snacks are over priced. A tea costs 43.too much. And other menu items are very much over priced.
Bhel puri taste was not good.

Pretty expensive, Food was good but very less portions for the price. Very crowded and noisy during weekends!

When u travel from Blore, this is on the right side after Sira. V stopped the car and walked across the road to go to restaurant. U turn and reaching is a bit far. This restaurant is spacious, tasty South Indian dishes, excellant service and clean atmosphere. Will recommend any traveler on this route to eat here.

Good Hotel located on the main road, it has both lodging n restaurant, food was good n nice service.well maintained.it has all amenities.good parking.good quality food.bit expensive.

Good Place while on the NH. The place is very clean, is family friendly and the food is great too.

This is an average 3.5 star restaurant.
Parking: 3/5. - This place lacks severe parking space. At around 13: 30, the parking lot is jam packed and there is a severe lack of space.
Food: 5/5 - No complaints there. Being a pure veg restaurant the food quality is top notch. All varieties of North and South Indian dishes are available. Paper Dosa is worth a try.
Atmosphere: 3/5 - The A/C restaurant has a lot of house flies around. I will be happy to change the rating if they fix that problem next time I visit them.

The restaurant needs to fix the parking issue at first. This being a highway hotel, parking should be a top priority.

Pathetic service, gave refrigerated food which was hot on top and ice cold at bottom, refused to accept that food is not fresh and staff misbehaved.

Nice place on the highway just before Sira. Perfect stop before getting into the high traffic zone. Good food options & quick service. Clean washrooms

It's a great place on the highway to have food and relax. The food served was fresh and hygienic. It has indoor and outdoor seating.

Had been now for dinner with family of 5 people. There were different items of South Indian food. When we asked about dosa, idli & chats, servers said it's over but it was served to other people. When asked with billing section, they tried to give some excuses which is not valid. Out of other hotels in highway, I preferred this hotel and felt upset for choosing it.

Management, please take of this.

I would rate it passable. It’s a good option If you are eating only South Indian food. Anything else is not up to the mark. Limited parking space. Toilets were neat and clean.

A good place to have tiffin and snacks. As we have visited in the evening we enjoyed bonda soup, panipuri items excellent coffee and tea.

Food is decent, although priced on higher side, but more than that.

You may like this place only if you are okay -
1. With noisy glass enclosure that becomes even more noisier with more people coming in
2. With cramped & not-so-clean restrooms

This place is overpriced. Taste and quality is pathetic. The basic comfort food idli sambar and chutney tasted so bad.it was disappointing.

Prominent advertising on the highway to attract customers, but felt disappointed with my experience at Paakashala, Sira.

At 5.30 PM in the evening, they did not have several basic chaat items such as samosa and cutlet. Their dahi puri was 'bangarpet style' chat and not mumbai style.

Hygiene was poor, floor below our table was dirty with previous customers. Our server ignored our request to have it cleaned.

Overall service was also poor. Staff was not friendly. They were in a hurry to clear our table. We didn't feel relaxed in their restaurant.

Will be heading back to Aahar which is just a few KM down the road, for the next time.

While parking we were told the waiting time is around 30 min. Many left after hearing this, not sure where they went ahead for food. But definitely one cannot find this quality food anywhere in this stretch. After 30 min we got our seat n could get some good food along with AC from the burning Sun outside. Service was really good with that much influx of people and apart from tomato soup test all was good.

One of the best restaurants on NH4. Food was tasty. And quick service. Need to wait a while on weekends and on long weekends. Recommend stop while travelling to Bangalore from Hubli or any North Karnataka cities.

Long time a good vegetarian food restaurant was missing now this is filled by Pakashala the renowned good joint. Please continue the same level of quality and service.

A Veg Restaurant with good ambience. Very typical Paakashaala layout. Typical highway pricing. We had breakfast and it was good

One of the best vegetarian restaurants present in the Bangalore-Chitradurga highway. They serve quickly and the food is very tasty. I loved the kesari bath which is served hot.
Parking facility is good.
Clean and well maintained toilets.
Highly recommended if you are looking for a pure veg restaurant on the highway.
We went multiple times for breakfast and were satisfied with the service.

Nice place to have veg meals and must try paakashala special curry for roti.or Butter non.very tasty

Only Coffee n tea were good. Dosas were average. Too many house flies in A/C restaurant is something which needs a check.

Coffee and tea is very good, the seving hall is very small and conjusted, service was fast and quick.

Well maintained restaurant, one of the best vegetarian restaurants on Bangalore pune highways, good parking space, well maintained clean restrooms, kids play area, it's hard to find such beautiful well maintained and spacious hotel on the highways

Nice atmosphere for a highway restaurant. Could be more organized but that's Bangalore crowd we are talking about overall a good place for food.

Every item on the menu is amazing although I just had South Indian food.

But the food is damn expensive! They can reduce the price.it's more expensive than in Bangalore or any other tier 1 City

Paakashala is losing it's charm!

Not sure what is happening with the hotel management, especially if we go on any busy day like weekend, they will give cold orders we have to return and ask them get hot fresh orders.

Place to recharge urself. Loved this place with excellent quality of food and a decent service.
