Paddington Resorts & Spa

We stayed here for our honeymoon in 2021. Took the pool cottage, paid an extravagant price for it. So we expected luxury service too, unfortunately their service is lower than a road side stall.
All the food items took couple of hours to come to our room, even for checkout they took 2 hours. When we checked in, our pool was very dirty, so we had to wait for someone to come n clean, wasted a lot of time on waiting for them.
On top of it their staff is mygonist n orthodox, they didn't believe us when we told its our honeymoon, instead they looked at me up n down cz I wasn't wearing toe rings. Which 3rd world are you living in?

Paddington is a good place to stay at affordable budget. The rooms are very spacious. The pool villas are awesome and with good amount of space outside. The food was very good, specially the breakfast. The service was absolutely amazing. All the workers at the dinning were very helpful and friendly. It is a nice place to travel with both family and friends.

Good Resort to stay with family.facilities and Services are good.need to improve on the food menu.they charged around 2k for each person for so-called Gala dinner (mandatory for all guests) on 24th December.provided food menu was very normal. Felt like not even worth 500. Otherwise everything else was good.

Resort in a nature heaven. Very pleasant atmosphere inside the resort itself. Very attractive for children as there are lots of indoor games and swimming pools.

Location was good, but service was horrible. Food served had absolutely no taste. Housekeeping staff were good.

Resort Not good for youngsters. It is super for who r looking peaceful stay.

Lovely place, isolated, serene. A place where you can go for a quick retreat with some amazing Ayurvedic massage to rejuvenate from daily hustle and bustle.

Extremely highly overpriced resort. Rooms are large but poorly made. I paid 12k after 25% discount for the room, that too for a Sunday night. It wasn't worth more than 4-5k based on my travels. Swimming pool is decent. The resort itself is poor to average. Avoid this place. You will get loads of much better resorts around at significantly cheaper tariff. An example of intent to cheat can be understood by the spa, which charges 2200 for a 30 min foot massage with a 1k discount coupon provided by the resort and 1200 if you pay cash directly. Pricing at other better resorts is in the 800 - 1500 range. Rather than cheap tactics and over pricing, it would be better if they were direct and honest. STAY AWAY!

Excellent food, clean rooms, extremely courteous staff right from Reception to housekeeping. Yummy fresh varied food menu. Great property. Can go out for walk in the woods surrounding the resort. Saw beautiful flowers and birds. Serene, quiet and wonderful surroundings especially to be one with nature.

Excellent location and resort maintenance is top notch. Very peaceful stay with family. Would definitely recommend this resort!

Paddington had few let downs after paying high price per day for room. The rooms are clean n big. Food is decent but if I compare to purple palms I would prefer purple palms than paddington. Firstly the room had no latest card system to open door it had door knob which had to be opened with keys. The knob was defective due to which we had hard time opening the door for in and out. The TV channels were unsubscribed on calling them repeatedly they recharged channels. The games room pool table balls were locked and so we couldn't get access they had strict timings for using the game room. Food was decent but after charging 11 to 12 k a day they charge us on per dish extra for room service facility which is absurd. So per dish u order in ur room u have to pay extra 20 rs on per dish becoz ur calling in room. No where till date I faced such a thing. They say we can give us a tour of their coffee plantation but when we go they say time is up. They claim big things but don't really give that service or customer satisfaction. It's decent place but not value for money.

Loved this resort. Each and everything about it. From the food to services.nothing disappointed. A must visit.

Personally I felt like the place to pics is absent (except reception hall), rooms are quite good and spacious, dinner buffet is decent with good options for veg, had only 2-3 option for nonveg, everything inside resort menu is expensive and even packaged beverage like water and soda is over priced (almost thrice to MRP).
In door games room and gym is provided complementary free but out door activities are charged per head, we'll have 4-5 activities that's all

Beautiful place and Good stay for relaxation. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff services are excellent and very honest. In fact my father had left some amount in the room drawer while checkout and the staff promptly returned it back to us. This won our hearts and hats off to that staff.
Food is also good and restaurant is located next to pool which is very well maintained.

Very disappointed…with everything in general none of the provided facilities were good…. There was no water in the taps…we couldn’t even take a shower or wash our face…the kettle was broken and we found ants floating in the water…. Doors don’t close properly…the foldable beds by the pool are broken…worst experience ever.

No Less than Horrible, Pathetic service. Trying to contact them for a booking, but always receive a mesaage that they are in a meeting. Without Customers what are you guys holding the meetings For?

Had a genuinely peaceful weekend at paddington! Property is really amazing with wonderful staffs! I would rate a 10 on 10 for cleanliness but when it came to food we were a little disappointed.we were left with very little options. It would be better if you included some authentic coorg dishes. Apart from that we had a beautiful weekend at Paddington! Looking forward for the next visit!

Only the villa with pool is good. Other rooms not at all worth. Food was ok ok. Overall it was just ok ok.

Amazing property. The interiors smell a little bit humid. But overall the staff is what saves the day, they work very hard to ensure a comfortable stay

2. Intercom - Completely messed up, cross talk and wrong display
3. Pricing: Extremely over priced (you will get better resorts) specially for honeycomb
4. Food: completely disappointed with dinner buffet as there were no starters for vegetarians however based on our special request, management managed to provide an additional starter.there is no proper seperation between veg and non veg.same thing with breakfast
5. Baby milk: usually in most of the resorts, baby milk and food is complimentary however these guys charge you
5. Valet parking: better avoid giving for valet parking and park your car inside the resort however parking place is limited
6. Bathroom: Not maintained properly

Superb property with very accommodating staff. And to top that, their Buffett spread was surprisingly good. Unlike other hotels where they make it just to keep.it on the counter, here I genuinely felt they cared about the quality and taste of the food being served.

Very good place to stay in coorg. This is around 3 km from the main road. The climate on this hotel will not be very chill. But do try their food. They had some excellent display of foods and hospitality is really nice. Never had any problem during the course of stay. Excellent experience altogether. Perfect getaway for stresses people. It's a family resort. + try the spa experience

Worst worst food in the resort which charges 20000 per night and above for pool rooms don't visit this resort by mistake also even if u don't have any option just go for homestays worst food for 2 days only Ala carte is good buffet dinner and breakfast is worst

Stayed in the resort in October 2020 the rooms are quite spacious.liked the ambience/location of the resort.service by the staff is not upto the mark needs improvement. Food is OK.

Price and Amenities doesn't go hand in hand. Food is not tasty and covid precautions are not taken. No one was wearing a mask. If you want to get hot water they have boiler method, we need to waste around d 5 to 6 buckets of water. During breakfast buffet was there freshly chopped fruits were not covered properly, there were many small black flies sitting on that. Spa was very good. Miss Blessy the therapist gave an excellent massage.

Pretty clean rooms at Paddington Resort, bedsheets and towels are changed on day to day basis. Good food, plantation walk was lit.got few free figs staff is pretty good and broad-minded. Loved the spa as well. All in all good place to relax.

We stayed here in Feb 2021 for 5D/4N. We found this resort very clean and nice. Ambience, rooms, room service was good, room size (melow glory) was good, all staff was helpful and cooperative. Food served through buffet had good and enough choice. Food taste was good too.

Great place, very close to nature. Excellent infrastructure and very very responsive staffs. Always smiling and greeting whenever you pass by them.
Hats off to all the support staffs, be it housekeeping or restaurant. Every request gets attended within 5 or max 10 mins even if it is crowded.
Food was tasty but very limited menu on the buffet. Breakfast buffet was very good.
Cons: complementary Wi-Fi is not good and you had to call and inform reception for a few things. Once you are in there is none to chek up you and your itinerary that they have promised.
Overall it is a great place with some good people.

One of the best location. Staff is simply awesome and very kind. Kids had great change after 10months. Coffee garden, nature walk n sight was superb. Overall one of the best resort.

Amazing rural experience in the middle of a coffee plantation. Very tranquil and relaxed vibe away from the husle of the city. The buffet while not extensive had a good selection. Would highly recommend and also visit again.

If you are looking for resort in the middle of an estate/ forest, it definitely is the one to stay.
They have all facilities available, from party hall, conventional hall to a bug dining room. They also have different kind of rooms, stays according to our comfort.
The prices are also affordable.

Wish to stay again

We visited the place in the first week of November and we were three families. The property is quite good with nice and clean rooms and a very nice landscaping with lot of greenery. Now comes one of the very important part of the trip - food. The taste of the food was below average and service was pathetic. The buffet was always empty and the staffs always came of with an excuse that there is a group of 40 people who are creating problem, such a dumb excuse. They really need to work on the taste of the food and must hire more staffs in the restaurant to serve the guests so that people don't have to wait for half an hour before they refill the buffet.

Rooms are good. Food quality is good.but restaurant service was slow. They are having a issue of network.so need to carry cash. Spa was under maintenance.they suppose to do this during off season.overall experience was good.

Our Experience of the resort with respect to the cost is not up to the mark. Reception managers are not aware of their facilities and charges. Huge communication gap and understanding between restaurant's waiters and customer. The Amenities that they have provided like the game room and the gym is not worth the amount of money we paid, especially the gym. It is of very poor quality and most of the machines are either very old of do no function at all.
We were told all the activities like ziplining and archery were included in our package but we were charged for it upon checkout. There was a lot of miscommunication and gap in understanding between there staff and the customer
Only enjoyment is cycling.
Avoid taking pool villas in winter. As the water is too cold to enjoy and you will land up pay unnecessary charges. (No heated pool)

Mine was an impromptu trip to Coorg.and I was a walk in guest. <br/>Main idea for me to come to Coorg was to get disconnected with the outside world. <br/>I took Pool Villa which for my standard was high but it was worth every penny. <br/>Unfortunately for some but lucky for me I did not get any mobile connection <br/>Not their fault but i did have the option of logging into their Wifi whenever i wanted to connect. <br/>I have read a lot of negative reviews which I feel is uncalled for.few ups and downs always happens<br/>No one does it intentionally <br/>Since they are in hospitality industry.so I suggest we remain a bit calm when things go a little haywire<br/>Why stress? <br/>Housekeeping was at its best<br/>Room service was prompt <br/>Plus incase they r taking time<br/>I suggest just sit out and enjoy the beauty and appreciate the hardwork which has gone into landscaping this beautiful property. <br/>I came to unwind and run away from everyday hassles and i managed to get it. <br/>Robert the Head Chef can give any PR person a run for his money.so good he is at his work and with guests. <br/>Good local food and typical tandoori food. Cool & Cozy place to get Relaxed, staying here gives the best relaxation. Food is very enjoyable and expensive too. Spa in here is very wasted, no good therapists here and they are not professional. Service here is very sloppy and slow.

Old structure. Need maintenance. Cottage restaurant area is stinky. The only good thing is food tastes good but price is on little higher side as compared to other resorts in that area.
