Neat rooms with good facilty. The villa is very near to the virupaksha temple. Very comfy villa to stay.

It has the best view if you are looking for a hotel in hampi. The owners are very good and cooperative. Rooms are clean and have ac too.

Only good thing in the hotel is Virupaksh Mandir view and good breakfast.
Otherwise the AC rooms were average.
Leakage in comod in our room. Due to that dirty smelling in the rooms.
Fan has no regulator.
Washroom not clean.
Buckets/mugs are also not clean.
Wify free but of no use. In rooms u can't use it.
Overall for stay Hampi is not good. Better to stay in Hospete/ kamlapur or nearby cities.

Try to avoide this Padma Hampi Villa.
1. They are not checking any identity.
2. I have booked 2 AC room but they are provide one AC and another non-AC room.
3. In room, they have not provided any water bottle.
4. Toilet Flash is not working half of the day (we have steyed 1 day).
5.very poor maintenance.

I was booked on first floor room. Room was clean & spacious. Toilets can improve.

You can see Virupaksha Temple from its window & door and listen to peaceful carnatic music early morning.

Mr. Sagar is a helpful owner. He and his whole family is very friendly to all the guests. Location is near almost all tourist places and Hampi Bus stop. It's completely worth staying in Padma if you are coming to Hampi.

Hotel Geeta serving nice breakfast, lunch & dinner near Padma. Must try authentic south indian delicacies. Don't miss.

The experience was amazing. For the price, everything was pitch perfect. I stayed in the ac room and had a comfortable stay. The room had view of temple. The people here are very friendly.
In the end it was truly and amazing experience staying here. If you are coming to hampi i recommend you to stay here.
Hemaputha hill is at walking distance which has breathtaking views of sunrise and sunset. I recommend you to visit there, hardly 20 minutes walking

I stayed in an AC Double Room at the first floor. The room was very clean, spacious and had 2 side tables which were very useful as you can keep your extra stuff there. Sagar is a helpful and cheerful host, was my go-to person for asking any query throughout the journey. He and his whole family is very friendly to all the guests. Location is apt, close to almost all tourist places and Hampi Bus stop. It's completely worth staying in Padma if you are coming to Hampi. (Bonus Tip: Marathi Movie Hampi Shooting was done here itself)

Best stay with a best view. You can directly see Virupaksha temple from here. Owner is also really polite and helpful. Definitely suggest staying here.

Non AC rooms are in worst condition.
There is a water leakage from terrace. They have attached two single bed which are not aligned properly due to that sleeping on that bed is not comfortable. Window glasses are broken and windows not getting closed. If you stay there for more than one day, no one will came to clean your room.

Lovely place to stay.its very near to the virupaksha temple and hemakuta hill. Owner is friendly and helpful. Affordable stay.

This place is a home, they rent their additional rooms.
The location of the property is close to parking and temples, and you can access the terrace of the property which gives you a beautiful view.
The hosts of the property are awesome.
We had 2 room bookings,
one on the ground floor in front of the hall had a water seapage issue hence it had a weird smell
and the other room was on the 1st floor which was better than the other one.
They have hot water supply in all the rooms.
Overall a good place.

"Homely friendly hotel
Only stayed 2 nights but the hotel has standard rooms and very clean. All the staff from reception to restaurant were really friendly.
It is vey central and walking distance of all local shops cafes and restaurants.

Location is absolutely great. Balcony view of virupaksha temple is aesthetic and also near to the market and convenient for visiting nearby places.

Though my stay was good there was dripping in the room during rain. I told the owner to notice this for future guidance.

3rd class rooms and. No any hospitality. We been in on 14th Oct 2022. The wooden coat making huge noise. The mattress were a garbage.

This guest house is near to Hampi Virupaksha temple. If you reach hampi by KSRTC this would be the nice place to stay. It's old and few water pipelines and and other things are visible. Host is quite responsible and responds to all your request.

Location is the best thing about this place. It is close to the most of the spots to be visited on that particular side of the river. Mantanga virbhadreshwar mandir and the hemkuta mandir are within 10 min walking which also makes it easier to get a sunrise sunset view. Hampi Bazar is on 5 min and the Proper restaurants such as Trishul, Panchmukhi and Mango lies in the vicinity which makes the place a perfect place to stay in Hampi.

Firstly, the rooms were not very good. Basic rooms with poor bathrooms. We had booked 2 A/C rooms. In one room there was no water in bathroom and in another A/C wasn't working. In one of the rooms, roof was leaking with water falling on the bed.
It was a horrible experience.

This must be the one of the best guest house in hampi.
Food is extremely good here.
Only problem is with the network but wifi covers it up.

Rooms are not clean. AC is very old and not working condition.
Cot and bed were not comfortable.
Very less spacious.
Entrance is very important for a Villa, lacked complete aesthetic sense.

It is very near to virupaksha temple, you can see temple from the gallery, rooms are nice, only upstairs rooms recommended. Very near to the market. You can visit matunga hills, virupaksha temple, hampi bazar, varah temple, kondandarama temple, Achutaraya temple, hemkoota, kadelekalu Ganapathi, sarvas ganpati by walking.

Decent home stay.
Hot water, towels and soap is provided when asked.
You'll have to ask if u want to refill drinking water in your bottles.

It was the worst hotel I have ever visited. The rooms are not one which are showed in images. The rooms are very dirty and washroom is not in condition to use. The comode is in state that it can collapse anytime. They have not even provided the proper curtains for room. The worst experience ever.

Pictures are fake. The rooms do not look like what is shown in the picture at all. Bathroom is smelly and no amount of cleaning can help. It's old and not worth it.
Better to stay in Hospet and take 30min.local bus to hampi, than staying in hampi.

This place is suitable for people who want to stay in peace and to explore the village side of Hampi. Rooms are very basic and old.but the view from here is Virupaksha temple and this place is right in the middle of Hampi and all the main attractions of Hampi is close from here. People who want to have party (drink/loud music) vibes, this place is not for you guys. The host family is staying down stairs and they are very friendly and nice.
NB: you won't get any Non veg food around this area.

I had booked the hotel in spite of seeing average reviews on net. Most reviews were not in favour. I am also giving 2 star only to the place as per my observation about Padana Hampi Villa as under: (1) It is very near to Virupaksh temple. (2) I booked online @921 per day, but the villa owner charged me Rs 1000, else he was giving very bad room. (3) When I booked, it was showing free breakfast as part of hotel-booking, but they refused to provide breakfast. (4) When I asked for water in room, villa owner asked me for water bottle, then gave water in my bottle. No flask, glass and water provided in room by them.

Hampi is a village. And as per village standards it was pretty okay to stay.
Can definitely try putting up here.

Worst place to stay. Smelly and dirty room and toilets. No hot water, no TV or wifi. Very rude and stupid host Sagar. No complimentary breakfast although promised on booking.com. Stay away from this homestay. Just find a good hotel or homestay at Kamalapur or Hospet. KSTDC one is best.

Clean place at budget friendly rates (relative to other good options). We were provided additional beds to accomodate family of five in single room. Good friendly customer service.

The host Sagar was very friendly. The place has a very nice view and the place was very clean and it is very near to all the tourist places. You can also rent bicycles at a nominal cost and can explore Hampi

Wonderful location and host. It is located just in front of Virupaksha temple. Rooms are clean and spacious. Rates are reasonable.
Mrs.padma & her husband are helpful and best hosts. Food was awesome. Would stay here during my next visit to Hampi.

This is going to be a long post.
The owners of Padma Guest house are very erratic, irrational and extremely Rude.
We were 5 of us and we had booked two AC rooms for 2 nights. The check-in time was 10am. But when we reached the place they gave us only one room and the 2nd room was given to us at 4: 30 pm. Till then, without complaining all 5 of us huddled in one room till 4: 30.

Finally when the 2nd room was given to us, the Ac was not working. So we mentioned it to an elderly man, who looked like the owner and he got defensive and he told us rudely that it is not his job to check the Ac and he will have to call the electrician for that.
Then there was no water in the taps in bathroom. When we mentioned that to the Sagar (owner’s son), he got utterly rude and started screaming and shouting saying that in ₹2000, I should be lucky that Iam getting atleast a clean room!
I still remained calm and told him that I require basic amenities like Ac and water and he started abusing saying I should stay in a 5 Star hotel and pay 35k per room!
My point is, if I have booked an Ac room with running tap water, is it wrong for me to expect the same?
The worst part is, the mother or the father or the son, neither of them were willing to even check the Ac. They didn’t even enter the room to see if the Ac is working or not. All they kept screaming was that the previous client didn’t complain. I kept requesting them to check the Ac and see for themselves. But they refused.
Finally we decided not to stay there and we made up our minds to leave.
They they gave us the refund minus the commission and we left. We even cancelled our future stay with them which we had booked for 3 days later.

I don’t recommend this place to anyone because all the owners of this place are erratic, rude and they scream and shout. They knew that the Ac is not working and that there is no water in the taps, but they refused to acknowledge and kept getting defensive and rude.

A great place to stay and it is very close to most of the main attractions. The hosts were very friendly and it felt like being at home.

This guest house is based in best location and the view is amazing from the place. The owners are very helpful and friendly. It is pet pet friendly also. We went there with our dog who enjoyed most there, my pet was free to roam around in the entire guest house and the owners also were very friendly with them. Whenever we will plan again for Hampi we are going to stay at Padma guest house only and I recommend this guest house to other people also who are going to Hampi.

Okay place, u will find similar kind of guest house in hampi, no 2star or 3star hotels in hampi town

Disgusting place to stay! Owner Sagar is fraud, horrible behavior, shameless with no self respect. Cheating innocent traveler's. If you book online and go, Sagar bloody cheap will say we don't have rooms and ask for more money.

Perfect location. Hospitality is good. Rooms are clean. WiFi is available. Hot water is also available on request.

Not recommended for couples with kids. No breakfast provided with 800 rupees room. Room was ok. But bed was too small. Two small cots joined together to make double bed. There was a gap between the beds. We complained about this to the owner. He told us to stay in another room (there also two single cots joined to make double cot but it was bigger than the other one) But next day morning they told us to shift to the other room as somebody else booked dis room for a higher price. But we noticed that the room was unoccupied. We adjusted there with our daughter. Wifi strength is poor in room. Tv wont work. We stayed there last monday and tuesday. Most of the rooms were unoccupied. So we feel it is overpriced.

Come to Padma for the location, it's about as central as it gets, and just next door to Chillout Bamboo, one of Hampi's premier hangout lounges. The rooms are small and basic, but clean enough. Not particularly good value though, although as far as budget places go, 800 Rs is pretty standard on this side of the river

One of the best Guest house. The place is really near to good Food and ruins. The view from the room is beautiful. Very helpful nature of the owner (Sagar). The only thing issue I faced is WiFi speed which can be better.

An average homestay but bit pricey for the facilities provided. We stayed there for a night. Location is good - very close to Virupaksha temple. And being on a dead end of the lane - no nuisance of vehicles or public. Parking available for 2-3 cars. The host Sagar is nice to interact with. They will arrange auto for pickup from Hosapete on request, which can be further used for Hampi sightseeing. Our auto driver was Siddu, a nice guy to go with especially if you are a family. We were provided a corner room in first floor, open on two sides giving nice view of temple and adequate ventilation. Rooms were clean. AC was working. Tube light was not working (only 2 LED's), giving the room a dull feel. CRT TV was not working as there is only 1 plug for both TV & DTH. Only an additional plug to charge your electronic equipments. A teapoy is provided and there is an open shelf to keep your things. WiFi is provided but connectivity is bad in top floors. Breakfast provided is average. Dosa's are bought from outside but coffee, breads & eggs are made in-house. Bathroom was clean but didn't get hot water on Day 1 (both morning & evening) but we did get it on Day 2 morning. Check-in is at 9: 30 am and check out also at same time. If you reach early, they will provide a room to get freshen up.

Pros -
1) It's proximity to Virupaksha Temple and other sight seeing places of Hampi.
2) The staff is very courteous and generous. She allowed us to keep our luggages even after checking out.

Cons -

1) The rooms are not at all airy.
2) The washroom was very congested.
3) Wifi coverage in rooms upstairs is very less.
4) The bedsheets and blankets were not provided to us.
5) One of the very shocking events that left us traumatized for the entire night was that when we returned to our room at night, our belongings were left open. Someone tried to steal something but thankfully we had not kept any valuables in the room, so, did not lose anything. I am not sure who exactly did this. We reached out to the staffs but they were also shocked. All in all, it was a very horrible experience. I suggest the owners to have CCTV wherever possible for security purposes as such.

The owner - Sagar is very well mannered, cooperative and helpful.
However, it's high in demand. Sometimes if the rooms are full he arranges a stay at different home stay, which is not good. Please confirm the exact room along with the photos before booking. And see to it that he provides exact same room.
Breakfast was very good with only couple of options - omelette bread and Dosa. Both were very tasty.
Rooms were very clean. Staff is very cooperative.
Best thing is that is right besides Virupaksha temple and you wake up to its amazing view.

Decent rooms. Direct view of Virupaksha Temple from rooms with balcony (AC). Service is good. Bathrooms are small and hard to adjust.

The two stars is because the people were very responsive and kind.

But I totally disliked the stay in this place. The rooms looked clean, but it was smelling bad.

There was just a charging socket - for a person who carries cameras, phone and laptop this would be very difficult.

Washrooms were really bad, not cleaned properly, dirty buckets and the floor and wall were also very dirty.

No hot water early morning - if you're planning for early morning visits to temples/monument in Hampi and if you want to take bath in hot water, it's not possible as the hot water for bath is available after 8 30 or later. And in evening, if you want to get cleaned up you will have to help yourself with cold water.

I do not recommend this place for staying more than a day.

A really good place to stay as it is nearby to every must see places. The owner of Padma guest house is really amazing and humble personality. I really enjoyed the stay and will assure everyone to go for it.
About hippie island it's an overrated place anyway where you get non veg (egg & chicken only) and drinks but personally I think it's a waste of time and money.

Very good home stay with huge 3 bedded rooms and quite opposite to Virupaksha temple. Very near to each and every place in Hampi. The owner Mr. Sagar is very helpful with the things. Can't expect more in a small town like this. Each and every room is provided with A/C. And they provide hot water for the bath. Totally satisfied.

Once you are into hampi you can choose this place to stay it's good. Don't expect a star facility but it's good at least. You will get parking space and all the spots are nearby only.
