Mr Prasad and his wife is very good and careing host. Taken care of every need of customer and Always ready to help and to see customers are happy. Food is too good and everyday new menu.

Don't come to this Mistry wood resort here no speciality this is not a good and that photos all all fake I visited this mystery wood resort so please read this I think this is so deep inside and there no specialties for driver's so please don't come here don't waste your time and your food cost is so costly so think I suggest you should take a resort nearby madikeri please don't come here to mystery would this is very bad resort

Right at the foot of tadiandamol hill. Trek start point is about 1.5K from here.
Prasad is a Great host and food here is too yummy.

We recently had been to this place.beautiful place to stay.vey calm and peaceful place to stay.had a relaxing weekend here. The staff here is also very soft spoken and amazing service given by them.whenever asked for anything. For fitness enthusiasts you have place to workout in the open area and run as well.overall an amazing place to stay. Do try out if you plan to visit Coorg

Amazing place for smaller groups. I guess the entire property has 8-10 rooms and can accommodate more 20-25 ppl easily. The best part is that owner is very friendly. He remembers everyone’s name by hearing them just once. The sunrise from the room is one of the best I have seen till date. The building literally glows with that sunlight. The rooms are very neat and clean and the food is homemade and good too. There is a badminton court as well (rackets are available too). You can also walk to a small private waterfall from here. There is no WiFi here. But you can get Airtel, Jio and BSNL signals only. Would definitely come back and stay here for more days. There was a cat and rabbit in the stay and they play with each other well. So look out for it. Hot water comes only in the morning I guess. This should be fine if you are talking bath only in the morning. Cars with very low ground clearance might not be able to reach the top.

Few things to improve: There are some teddy bears on the chairs in the room which look a bit creepy (scary) to some folks. This could have been removed instead.

It's a good place if you want to stay quiet and relax at Palace Estate. At Kakabe, at a high altitude this estate homestay is built and has a rich 100+yrs history associated with it.

Mr. Prasad is a great host and really soft spoken. Food is really good but not many options for breakfast or dinner. This place is worth visiting once.

We spent 3 wonderful nights at palace estate! The house is absolutely beautiful with artistic wooden carvings. This gives the place a lot of character! Our room was on the first floor and facing the wild forest. From the balcony we could enjoy fresh filtered coffee from the farm and enjoy the spectacular view. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming. They cooked fresh and delicious food for us twice a day (breakfast and dinner) and they gave us a private tour of the coffee estate. We definitely recommend to spend a few days here, especially if you are interested in hiking the highest peak in Coorg (you can start the trekking directly from the homestay!)!

Stayed for 3 nights in late April 2022. Amazing location and perfect place to relax. Host Mr Prasad is absolutely gracious, courteous and helpful. We trekked up to Tadiandamol for which this estate is ideal place to stay. Food is great.
