I’d give 10 stars if I had an option. The place is taken care by the folks who are extremely knowledgeable and are responsible towards conserving the environment. We tried their desserts and ice cream, the flavours were spot on! Looking forward to having our dinner there tonight
It’s mind blowing how everything here is well thought and the efforts that go into actual/real conservation. Listening to Ambika was a whole experience by itself. Hats off to them for supporting the locals and cleaning their surroundings and picking up after the tourists have trashed the serene beach surroundings.
You can only experience it all when you visit here and see the plants they’ve grown all naturally, devour on the delicious food they serve and enjoy their hospitality.

Finding the right description for my wonderful stay at Panchabhuta Conservation Foundation Resort is easy. Live, eat, enjoy, experience nature in the most sustainable way, in a premium environment created by the owners Mangal and Ambika Shetty. I had the opportunity to enjoy this unique environment at the beginning of the 7km long Nirvana Beach for eight full days. Fresh cuisine with local delicacies as well as dishes with European standards poses no challenge to the kitchen crew; on the contrary, they surprise you every day with great creations. Service is very important and is lived by the entire staff and implemented very well. Coffee creations from the in-house baristas are just as tasty as the well-equipped bar for a nightcap right on the beach. The owners live their vision of sustainable tourism every day and inspire their employees and guests in the most endearing way. The cottages, named after rivers in the region, are lovingly designed and lack nothing when it comes to a premium experience. In this wonderful place, luxury and sustainable tourism meet in perfect symbiosis and are not just empty words.

Home away from home! Mr Mangal and his wife, Ambika will ensure you have the best experience at their retreat with the most delicious food, amazing hospitality and gorgeous rooms! Mr Mangal has curated an experience at Panchabhuta with the motto ‘Future with Nature’, Sustainability at its best with luxury and comfort!

We also had a chance to try paddle boarding, kayaking and the pepper queen trek where the views of the Uttar Karnataka were magnificent!

This place is like no other!
The pristine beauty of the nature, the beaches, the backdrop of the western ghats. The rooms are designed that they become a extension of the natural surroundings and the sustainable theme of the whole place is very appealing!
Food was excellent and service was great.
We did not want to leave!

This place is a vibe ️ completely natural and organic food, even the furniture, tissues etc are all organic and recycled. It's the perfect place to stay and the food is completely fresh and tasty. The breakfast was on an international level. Please do visit the place

One of the best vacations that I have had. Panchabhuta is not just a place, but an experience one needs to have every now and then. Whether it is the beach, which is calm and reassuring, or the hillock nearby or the kayaking in the mangroves or the friendly interaction with the host or the picturesque landscape.

Our interactions with Mangal were great and gave us a perspective of the different dimensions of conservation. We missed the trek, but the kayaking in the mangroves was absolutely stunning. Mangal really patiently took my 3-year old on his paddleboard, and she loved it more than us all. His boat crew also ensured that the cruise was not risky for the kid. That itself showed how personally invested Mangal is into making it an experience for his guests, and not just a stay.

The food needs a special mention. It is one of the best I have had. Every dish was superb. You need to try the Ghee Roast and the Chicken Sukka. Ambika says they are her own time-tested recipes, and I absolutely believe her. The staff are very courteous and indulge our every whim. They were so thoughtful that, once we asked them for a warm glass of juice for our daughter, not to aggravate her cough and cold, and they ensured that they kept warm fruit to make juice, available for her on request.

The rooms are spacious, clean and great. The beach is flat and not very rough, and so is ideal for all persons. The beach is not very crowded and noisy. Sunsets are brilliant and colourful.

I would really recommend Panchabhuta to the indulging traveller.

A piece of Nirvana:

Panchabhuta is clearly different from the other resorts on Nirvana Beach. Right from when you catch a glimpse of it, you recognise that this is where you will forget your urban woes and city sorrows. This is where you truly connect to yourself and nature.

Overlooking the vast white sands and deep blue waters of Nirvana Beach, this place makes you feel like you're in paradise. The waters are perfect for a swim or a little paddle boating. You could also enjoy a beautiful beachside trek.

The warmth of the hosts is unparalleled. They run things smoothly and take care of everything effortlessly.

They make you feel like you're at home (and the food does that too). We particularly fell in love with the seafood coconut soup, mushroom risotto croquettes and kori rotti. And the feel-good gelato is something I can't describe. Salted caramel and chocolate truffle were our favourite flavours. You could keep eating the food here and feel full, yet not drowsy. This is exactly how real food should be - healthy and organic.

The rooms are gorgeous. Earthy and aesthetic, and truly sustainable. Even their bath and beauty products are not store bought but made locally and sustainably, with love. Solar powered charging for your gadgets - a bonus! The views from each window are spectacularly green - it seems the rooms are enveloped in trees. And no TVs in the rooms - just one in the restaurant - perfection! They are so considerate and make sure you get the right ambience to enjoy the serenity and beauty of the place in its totality. They also craft unique experiences for you to get in touch with your inner self and the locals.

This place is for you if you want luxury which has a love for the earth at its core. If you care for our planet and its inhabitants, and if you want a memorable getaway that nurtures your mind, heart and soul, Panchabhuta is the place to taste your piece of Nirvana.

Owners are worst.they won't even allow you put camp fire or play songs to enjoy! So what's the resort for lol? !

There is NO way to contact the restaurant.
We were charged twice. Since the payment didn't fully process the first time, we had to pay again. And a couple of days later, after we had left the town, the first payment went through. Which is not the restaurant's fault, understandable. But there is absolutely no way to reach them, to resolve the issue.
Even tried messaging them on Instagram, got a cold reply after 25 days and they disappear again.

But other than that, although overpriced, the food was good. Good ambience, and the staff was friendly as well.

Absolutely stunning place. Resort surrounded by gorgeous beach.beautiful hills.paddy fields.river.piece of heaven on earth. Sunset in the evening is mesmerizing.

I don't have words to say about this place.
You must go and enjoy your self mind and learn how to conserve everything.
