I have visited this place half a dozen times In the past 10 plus years. Sadly there is a continued reduction in its quality of food. I recall this place being run by the Mother and son. Sitting on stools by the road side as we ate. The taste of food from those days to today is like a reduction by 50%.
Nice place for evening time foods. Normally a place to eat good paratas, drink lassi and other punjabi food items, but you'll also find some maharashtrian chats items also.
The place is crowded and the service is bit slow (may be because of crowd).
Rishi, Paratha Plaza is a popular destination for Paratha. I ordered the cheese chilli paratha as well as Kashmiri paratha and it was excellent they give you a light green Chutney, Curd and a sweet Chutney where one must ask for a chutney where it is only served when asked. This chutney be mixed with a sweet Chutney. Apart from that the service time for food is quite long and the taste is impeccable. Great place to eat and pocket friendly with a maximum cost of 120/- for a paratha.
Paratha Plaza, located at Ashwath Nagar (Sanjay Nagar main road), Bangalore. This is one of Bangalore’s best Place to grab some stuffed parathas. Authentic taste just like how you get In Delhi! They are in business since more than 25 years, and the taste hasn’t changed at all. With over 50+ varieties of parathas, And other items like samosas, lassi’s, etc. The place is spacious, neat and clean. Take away options also available, and ample parking on the street. It is a must must visit for all the Paratha lovers in Bangalore! Taste wise it’s great, service is awesome, atmosphere is great too! It has a very personal touch with the owner being there always with a warm and welcoming smile! Do give it a try!
Best place in sanjaynagar for eating authentic north indian parathas, chaats, pav bhaji & lassi.have visited this place several times & the taste is always superb.
Just delicious food with lots of options of fillings in parathas. Loved their combinations of filling and they are able to make the combination on your preferences.
Very nice place for authentic Parantha and mumbai chats. You must try Aloo Parantha and Jalebi. Tea was also very nice, you can have a nice pet pooja for sure.
One stop for a variety of parathas, short eats and some mouth watering chats. I have always visited with my family who have enjoyed every time and will definitely want to visit often. I am very sure if you once taste you will drive yourself particularly to this location only no matter how far you are in Bangalore. Please do try and relish the authenticity. Thank you.
We were in a group of 12 we all had lunch here.all of is liked it.taste is good, variety is good, different type of paratha, we have platters parathas lassis and Jalebi and rice items, all were good very fresh. So a must try.
I've known this place for years and their food is absolutely smashing besides being reasonably priced. Highly recommend that place for eating out with family.
This place sells very authentic homemade style parathas. I really liked the flavours of the spice. I asked them they said that they grind them all fresh inhouse. I really liked the cheese parathas. The chocolate cheese parathas are also must try.also try the jalebis as they are ultimate crispy. The tawa pulav is also great. They also have many types of lassos and goli cola.
Wishing to have good paratha in Bengaluru, Rishi's Paratha Plaza is the best place to go. They into business from past 25 years run by food passionate couple. All the Paratha recipes are made by the Owner.
One must try- Aloo Paratha, Gobi Paratha, Cheese Chilli Paratha, Pizza Delight Paratha, P. P Paratha, and Chocolate Paratha. And my personal favourite was Aloo paratha, right on the spices and flavours.
They have recently launched chaats in-houses, Aloo Tikki Chaat, Dahi Puri are amazing. Their Bombay Chaats includes- Tawa Pulav that's buttery and spicy. And they have unique dish called Reverse Vada pav which is a must try.
And for sweet lovers, Jalebi is must try, it's thin and crispy soaked in sugar syrup. Gulab jamun and Ras Malai just melts in the mouth and no meal can be completed without thick lassi.
I visited this place for a weekend brunch with my friends to try out their authentic Punjabi food
This outlet has a wide variety of North Indian & Street food options available like Sandwich, Street food and fast food starters, Combos, Shakes, Lassi, Drinks, Sweets, Maggie, Stuffed Parathas.
Felt like having authentic North Indian street food and some Paratha's I started up with some chats, pav bhaji, vada pav and dahi puri. The Paratha's were damn good here. Stuffed well and cheesy too. And obviously with the Paratha I had mango and rose lassi. And ended my lunch with some Jalebis. Perfect ️ I would love to visit this place again. You must visit this place. And I'm sure you'll love it.
The Aalu tikua chat i purchase and left uneaten was hopeless.it contained no alu tikka but bare Aalu. Absolutely tastless. The curd Lassi i got wss still worse.it was stale and too thick.they refused to put some ice in it even One sjould never ever visit such hopeless restaurant.
A Nice place for north indian food lovers as well as they have a variety of Gujarati items as well. Cheap, hygienic, tasty. What else could you wish for. Although the lack of curries may be a bit of a problem for some people but the chana masala makes up for it, the taste is just like delhi.
So I went today on 18th feb 2021 at 7: 44 pm. The restaurant was empty, only one couple was ordering food. I stood their and ordered food the waiter said he is busy taking order and didn't took order, though the place was empty. I asked owner is their anyone else who can take order she shook her head. No doubt why their restaurant is empty with this kind of service and attitude the same is obvious.
Advice to owner: if you can't give service might as well shut down the restaurant.
I have been going to this place for more than 10 years. It serves good parathas and is reasonably priced. Its a no fuss place good for the entire family. When we want to go out to eat and cannot decide where to go, we go to Paratha Plaza.
Amazing Restaurant. Owner of this place is a great host & the food is super duper amazing. Way too cheaper in terms of price. It is a must try food joint. Have never tried such a comfortable place ever before in Bangalore. Thanks for the great hospitality ️️
I think it is a very good experience. Delicious parathas. Try out their 3M and chatpata. Was worth it. Long wait for my order. But its always good to build the appetite for this.
Awesome service. They were closing off and just because I requested they took my order and made awesome food. Great hospitality. I visited this place after 7 years
Been to this place more than 10 times in the past 2 years. Should say something about my loyalty to this place. But really, after 10 visits and trying out different items each time, I've found that these guys really know their business, and can't put a foot wrong. I haven't had a bad paratha, or even a bad side dish there. And the number of North Indian patrons seen there on any evening, goes to show how genuine their parathas are taste-wise.
While the parathas here used to be really good when they were a small shop, the quality has declined over the years. The parathas are really thick and you can barely taste the filling in it. Although good for a snack now and then, would definitely not recommend it as a meal or breakfast often. Also, the prices of the parathas are horrendous. They start from around 90 rupees for one paratha, going upto 150 or so as well. For thick, unappetising parathas? No thank you.
Cool place to hang out for an hour or so, parathas are yummy like 3M, peanut twisters paratha are the favourite one. Rest location is okay but an important thing- parking, very easily available. You should try once.
You get yummy paratas here. Wheat and healthy paratas. They have all combination and variety of paratas one can imagine. Also you get all McCain snacks like fries, masala fries, smiles, pops and lot more. Kids like lot of dishes here. Lassie is very nice here. Nice ambiance to have our lunch, snacks, dinner here. They have well maintained clean restroom here.
Everything they have is awesome but if your tempted to order McCain platter then be ready to eat only potatoes. In this they just have fries, wedges, Smiley I mean basically only potato.
Tried about 14 types of parathas here. Some are good some are okay. Paan lassi was exceptional and is a must try. Not much parking space available. Way to notice from a moving vehicle. Enough seating available. Fast service, courteous staff and affordable. All in all a good place to visit.
Good place to have parathas. Been here multiple times. This is a small one can accommodate 20+ people. Multiple varieties of parathas are present. Apart from that multiple sweet options are available. Price is reasonable and strategically located on main road. It is worth giving a try.
Some the best Parathas you can get - easily over 30 varieties. Don't miss the Methi-Aloo and the Aloo-Peas. You cannot end your meal without biting into their fresh, juicy Gulab Jamoons. I don't recommend their Tawa Pulav. Average per person - Rs 200 - 250.
Very tasty parathas.has a lot of varieties of parathas and they are absolutely delicious. They are quick in preparing the order on weekdays. Lassis are also very refreshing!
It was good experience, Cheese Aloo paratha need some changes it was pure plane with Salt and No Masala, May be people like it that way but as my personal opinion that only need little change
One of my top five veg restaurants which I can visit any time. I am their customer since 2003 when they had two small rooms, one to cook and second for customers. As customers increased, started to have makeshift seating outside. Later acquired the current place and their business has flourished. Few years back the price went up and the quality other way. Didn't visit for a year or so. Started visiting again some five yeras ago as their glory was back. Today's visit made me remove one star as the price had gone up and the quality is taking a dip. The 3M took was mostly matar but very less methi and malai. The Peanut twister has sparing amount of peanut and the taste was dominated by red chilli and garlic slices! For few years the curd was charged, not now, thankfully. Please don't cut on the fillings/stuffing of parathas, otherwise increase in price will be unjustifiable.
If you are craving for varieties of parathas, this is the place! Prices are reasonable and wait time is also not too high. A must visit place who are longing for home kind parathas. My favourite is Bunty aur Babli paratha. Hoping to visit it shortly!
Variety of delicious parathas & lassi to choose from and very hospitable staff. Will recommend this place to everyone and am sure it will become a regular place to visit. The ambience of the place is also decent. All in all a value for money place.
