I recently had the pleasure of dining at a parivar multi-cuisine restaurant nestled in Jayanagar, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. Although it may be considered old, it certainly hasn't lost its touch when it comes to serving delectable dishes that leave you craving for more.
Ambience: The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was transported to a different era. The old-world charm exuded by the cozy interiors, wooden furnishings, and dim lighting created a warm and inviting atmosphere. It felt like a place where memories have been made and shared for generations, giving the restaurant a unique character that is hard to find elsewhere.
Culinary Delights: The restaurant boasts a multi-cuisine menu that caters to all taste buds. From traditional Indian delicacies to mouthwatering Chinese and Continental dishes, the extensive range of options ensures there's something for everyone. Each dish I tried was bursting with flavors and prepared with great finesse. The chef's expertise was evident in every bite, and I appreciated the perfect balance of spices and seasoning in each dish.
Service: The staff at this restaurant are the epitome of hospitality. They are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They went out of their way to accommodate special dietary requests and offered excellent recommendations based on personal preferences. The service was prompt without feeling rushed, allowing us to savor our meal at a leisurely pace.
Value for Money: Considering the quality of food and the overall experience, I found the pricing to be reasonable. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation of the dishes was impressive. The restaurant also offers a variety of meal options, including lunch specials and combo meals, which provide excellent value for money. I left the restaurant feeling satisfied and content, both in terms of taste and wallet.
In conclusion, this old yet remarkable multi-cuisine restaurant in Jayanagar has rightfully earned its reputation as a hidden gem. The ambiance, culinary delights, impeccable service, and value for money combine to create an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a local or a visitor to the area, I highly recommend paying a visit to this culinary treasure trove and indulge in its delightful offerings.
Got to taste my home town dishes, amazing food especially fish. The staff were very polite and enjoyed my time with my friends. If you want to have the best coastal Karnataka dishes please do visit this place
Place is located in Jayanagar 4th block near vijaya college, It has a bar attached to it, food prices are bit high expensive.but taste is good and it has vast amount of Hot Drinks available, Not suitable for Kids.
A pathetic place. The place has a horrible ambience and equally pathetic food. I felt cheated after having food here. Many of the dishes are overpriced. I tried Neer dose with ghee roast and it was bitter in taste. The chicken was well cooked but not tasty. I'm a regular to the Mangalore food joints and this has been my worst experience.
Had been for lunch with two of friends. Service was good and food was also fine but only concern is the price. We got a bill of 3k+ which we feel should have been less as compared to other restaurants
This time it was bad. I had severe food poisoning street eating here on Saturday night. I had my apprehension about the chicken given. Till today i am still still recovering
Amazing service! Their rasam is pure magic. We tried their onion rings, was great. But a little off this time around. Will still order it and go back there anytime I'm around jayanagar
Great place to chill with friends near Jayanagar 4th block area. Their Bondas, pakodas and usli items are a perfect match for your drink. Most bottled beer brands are available to choose from. Parking will be tricky on the Main road, so park elsewhere and walk to this place is the best thing to do.
* Drinks bit costly * Food - good * Service- good Tough I am a regular visitor from past 10years and one off my favorite in Jayanagaar, Over all rating 8/10
Was there for lunch. The Mutton Dum biryani was just rice and mutton pieces from gravy. They were moving the fresh sliced onions and cut pieces of lemon from my table to the next. Would not recommend the place.
Had been to this place many times as it is nearby to our house. The food is awesome and tasty. There are 2 rooms. One for smokers and another for non smokers. The non smokers room is an AC room. Even families can go to that place. If you are near that place it's a must visit.
Underrated Gem! The best Mangalorean food in town by far (and yes I've been to Shettys, Kudla, Mangalore Pearl, Karavalli etc). Their anjal tawa fry and kori roti are awesome. Hesar kaalu is another great snack that they make here! No fuss and competent service too.
Staff are very polite and friendly. Food is not upto the mark. Also you cannot expect more form the ambience too. Its a nice neighborhood bar and restaurant.
Nice place for a quick meal amidst a good market place. It's conveniently located so that you can not only concentrate on your shopping but also rest assured of a place where you can have good food too.
A manglorian restaurant U get varieties in non-veg. Avoid if u r a vegetarian. Prices: more than average for small portions (two us us shared egg biryani and paneer chilly -costed us 200/head) Taste: ordered paneer chilly: horrible, got sick Non- veg was suggested to be avg. Ambience- avg Service: good and prompt Being a vegetarian- I won't visit again.
This is an old restaurant reflecting the ambience of restaurants in 90s. There is a very limited space for families. The family section is separated from bar section. The ambience is ok, not great.
The food is good, they serve managlorean and north Indian cuisines. I like their neer dosas with coconut chutney and aloo ghassi. I also like the palak rice and Dal khichdi from their menu.
If you want to have the old bangalore bar feel, this is the place. Good for groups, good for families, good for going alone and just good for everything. A regular hangout for people of Jayanagar
Food is good but the ambience is not ok. They have a bar as well. Those who do not drink or smoke may not feel comfortable. We had dinner in a separate family hall but didn't feel comfortable due to the smell and lighting.
Parivar is a budget bar and restaurant with lively ambience. This place offers great food from starters to mains. A highly recommend place for budget outings.
As the name implies, it's a good place for family n friends. The food, the staff n the soothing karaoke, does have influence over the mood n the appetite.
