If you are a Bengali & missing Bengali food in Bangalore, this is the just the place you are looking for. Just excellent & perfect, everything I tried here. Added to the freshness and quantity the taste of the food is just too delicious.
Horrible experience. Served cold mutton biryani and very less salt. Chicken biriyani no salt in chicken. How that is possible. I recommended many friends but today it was really a bad experience with whatever I ordered.
The food is usually decent but the service is worst. They made us wait 30 mins before saying the a-la-carte menu is not available and to take their over priced buffet. However, they are taking orders for a-la-carte and thalis online!
Its a good restaurant for a half paint, t shirt attire lunch or dinner. Please dont dressup for this restaurant. The sweets were good, as the ambience was not good so didnt had thr lunch which bee actually came for
I tried couple of times from this restaurant. Most of the time fish items are not fresh. I also found fried ruhu fish stale. Their sweet items also are not upto the mark. We can easily make out they mix some flower with kova or paneer. Most Bengali sweets are prepared from pure paneer and no added flower. So be careful while ordering from this place. I don't recommend this place
It was good to have some bengali food (at a decent rate) in bangalore.food is not that tasty (barir khabar types) but the service is great.worth a visit
Name any Bengali food, everything on point. Especially sweets. Must try baked rosogolla, gurer rosogolla, rosmalai. Bought Palm candy (Talmichri), posto, nimki and panch forong. As a Bengali you should get your non Bengali friends just to try the Singara (available 3pm onwards)
PLEASE DON'T VISIT THIS RESTUARANT. THE 4.1 STAR PRESENT FOR THIS RESTUARANT IS FOR SWEETS AND NOT FOR THE FOOD SERVED HERE. I VISITED RESTUARANT BY MISTAKE AND FOOD EAS CRAZY. I HAD ORDERED PANEER CHILLI, VEG FRIED RICE, MUTTON GRAVY, KULCHA AND CHICKEN TIKKA. ALL ITEMS WERE CRAZY AND WE LEFT EVERYTHING AS IS. PAID 996 FOR THE SAME. COST IS HIGH AND FOOD IS WORST. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I AM RATING LIKE THIS IN BANGALORE.
Have tried most of the items including sweets over past couple of years (from their previous outlet at Bhuvaneshwari Nagar too) and every time, Park Street had disappointed me. They do not have consistency in food preparation, their items are over priced and bland in taste at times.
I order food from here once in a blue moon only because there's not much option available around this area and every time I ordered, their foods were either over or less cooked / boiled / fried (eg.mughlai porota, basanti polao, mutton kosha, naan puri, alur dom etc.). Their sweet's quality is below average (in snacks, singara is good though).
Park Street is good just as a try out option / one time try. I won't recommend this place to anyone who's a seeker of authentic Bengali cuisine.
Small sitting arrangements are there. Snacks time we visited. Took egg roll. Not liked much. Vegetables chop was good though. I mostly order sweets online from here.
According to price it can be better in quality. Sweets are i think best.space and locality is little bit problem as it's not well connected. Service is fast and stuffs are polite
Food quality and quantity both are really good. They also have a sweet shop that provides with a large variety of bengali sweets. Behaviour of the restaurant staffs are also very good. So if you want to try bengali cuisine and living in Bangalore, then this is absolutely the right place.
Being a bengali and staying away from home during Nobo Borsho (New Year) hurts. This restaurant came to the rescue and served with authentic thali consisting of Chicken, Fish and Mutton. The dishes were finger licking! The quality of the food is worth the price. It's a must visit place for all the bengalis who is away from their houses! Thank you for making my Nobo Borsho Special!
Very good Bengali food. Especially for the Bengali people And for the people who love to have Bengali cusine everytime. Purely homestyle food restaurant. Golabarir kosha mangsho rakhen, kochi pathar jhol ta, khub tasty khete. Best bengali restaurant in bangalore.
Loved the authentic bengali food which was served, the fish tasted really fresh and overall the food wasn't too oily.it's light on our stomach and tasty too.especially the Basonti pulao and kosha mangsho are worth mentioning.and it's not too pricey.
Pathetic restaurant.have been ordering for more than a year now. Lately in all chicken dishes, they are giving only bones after using the better pieces for boneless dishes. Preparation quality has become pathetic with kgs of spices used in any preparation.all this while prices are quite high. Example - ordered chicken Kosha and got a bowl full of bones dipped in a gravy of raw tasting spices. DO NOT ORDER
Worst food ever had in Bangalore Please don’t go there and waste your money. Not a single dish tasted good. It was not even average. Mutton was smelling bad.
One of its kind for having Bengali Food Loving people, 95% satisfied. Only improvement expected for (1) seating area getting frying oil smell from kitchen (2) should serve in non plastic plates and (3) Perhaps the quantity should be little more as I consider it less quantity for its super taste.
They have wide range of Bengali snacks listed in their menu. And sweets from Mishtikhana reminds me of Kolkata. We have tried each and every item from their menu card, some of the best dishes are Kabiraji (when served hot), fish fry, chicken cutlet, koraishutir kochuri with alur dom, luchi with chholar daal, basanti pulao with mutton kasha, mughlai paratha, rolls, vegetable chop and egg devil. Coming to the desert corner, must try items are singara/samosa (it comes under mishtikhana thus enlisted in dessert section), langcha, chanar jilipi, chhanar payesh, sondesh, misti doi and gulab jamun. This is one of the best Bengali restaurant in Bangalore which gives you authentic bengali food within you budget. Keep up the good work. Note: incase you are ordering Samosa (singara) order it before 5pm so that you will get that authentic chatni.most of the time post 6.30 u will not get that chatni because of high demand I feel.
Park Street is Iconic place in Kolkata, and the restaurant Park Street lives up pretty much to the expectations. Food is really good and quality is great. Fish Fry, Mutton Cutlet, Egg Devil, Luchi Cholar Daal and Mutton Biriyani. All I say it can be in your must try list.
Only good thing is their pricing.food in reasonable price. Food quality is OK. Could hv been better. I think only neighbours visit that place wenevr crave for Bengali food
Nice place. The Bengali cusine they make is just the best around here in Bangalore. The food is amazing. All the dishes are equally good in their own way. But the only thing that this restaurant lacks is the sloppy service. This might be because of the rapid inflow of orders form aggregators like Zomato and Swiggy, but this doesn't add up to being sloppy for the in-house customers. I know you guys can do a lot better.
Very good and affordable bengali restaurant. Food quality is too good especially chicken kosha, luchi, kadaisuti kachuri.great work done by the people here and awesome food.would love to come again
The food was very tasty. If someone wishes to have pure authentic Bengali food at a reasonable rate this is the perfect choice. The service is also great
Food - authentic, one of few hotels in Bangalore who can give you the feeling of being in orissa & bengal. Set-up - Good, as it is a new startup so hope in few times it will change and attract more people Location - One of the fast developing area, surrounded by business hubs. But Parking will be issue in high times. Staff - simple & nice but need improvement
We used to love the singara at this place (samosa). Off late, they have started making it VERY VERY spicy. I wish they would revert back to the old recipe, and reduce the amount of spice in these singaras.
Excellent ambience, feel the flavour of Bangaliana, foods are super tasty, highly recommend for people aspiring to have pure Bengali food right here at Bangaluru.
Not good. Creates own meaning of Kosha mangsho. Gets into arguments when i wanted to comment. No AC. Mediocore food taste. Not recommended for family and friends.
Finding an authentic Bengali restaurant like this in Bangalore is a miracle. The food is very good in here. Try mutton/chicken kosha with basanti polau.
Amazing Taste, Great taste and great response from Owner Mr. Sunando Gupta. These kind of Double Dhamaka (Taste & Response) you get in very few places, this one asking them.
Guys don't forget to eat Mistydohi at the end of the food.
Visited many times but according to Menu items are not available and Biryani only 2 days which is not doing justice according to Bengali cuisine and most important reciepie for that 2 stars deducted. Quality is good anyways and nice ambience.
Actually was not able to give 3.5 stars. Its not great for 4 stars but ok. Food taste etc is 3 star worth ambience additional. 5 star. Its small but neetly kept hygienic restaurant
This place offers some really good traditional Bengali cuisine. The ambience is average but the food is great. It's easy to locate and service is decent.
The resturant is too good to have bengali foods. Taste is good and quantity! Oh! My god.very good. Behaviour of the owner is nice.overall experience is nice. We will visit again for sure.
I visited Park Street restaurant a while back, what not I can say abt it, In one word its "AMAZING" One of the best Bengali food I have ever had in Bangalore. Price is fair. "Excellence comes when we balance quality with quantity" and really this Restaurant proved it. The restaurant on first glance looks pretty inviting with a homely atmosphere, No AC & not a huge place ofcource but with a huge heart they serves. Staffs are very good too. Note - Golbari style mutton is really very tasty (5 medium pieces) which will remind u real authentic Golbari as well as Basanti Pulao is nowhere less than that, Along with Yummy Pure Bhetki Fish Kobiraji (Bigger in size than Mitra Cafe) are really too good. All in all great place, totally worth visiting
Haven't been this satisfied with a restaurant in a long time. It's an authentic Bengali restaurant and the staff speak Kannada, Bengali, Hindi and English. The quality of the meat is very good. It's hard to find a place which serves good quality sea food. The prices are very affordable. They also have a Rubik's cube and tic-tac-toe on each table which helps you kill time while waiting which I think is thoughtful. It's a small place with 6-8 tables. Friendly staff. Strangely there was a couple with an annoying little kid all three times I was here. Their mutton kosha is out of the world.
Highly recommend.starting from Radhaballavi alur dum, luchi cholar Dal to fish fry everything was delicious.coming back soon to try other items from menu.
Must try.ideal place for all foodies looking for good bong food in North Bangalore.nice place with good ambience.amazing food at resonable price.good combo options available as well.
