Very nice stay and food was very testy malnad stayl food service also nice very friendly staff

We stayed in the resort totally 26 members. Good resort with all facilities. We enjoyed a lot in swimming pool and campfire. Thanks to the resort members who made our trip smooth, happy and memorable.

Very good Homestay and this is center point to visit manay places in Chikkamangalore. Hospitality is very good and Mr Bharat is excellent to take care of all the families. I have to tell this, food is just home cook and amazing. Best place for outing and great hospitality.

Ultimate vacation stay for family & friends. Well maintained place. Pool was good. Great ambience. Service was impeccable. Loved it!

The resort rooms is not clean and all the beds and pillow covers are torn and eaten by rats.

They don't provide good service to people, they don't care about customers, food is not all that great

A fairly decent homestay with best rooms. They also provided camp fire. The swimming pool is also accessible

Rooms and premises are clean and tidy.
Housekeeping staff are very polite and just a call away.

The worst stay the owner and the third party guys claiming to be hotel guy and cheated for extra 5000rs. Nuthan and sashank their names scammers.

Completely miss-managed, unmaintained and overpriced property.

Overpriced Booking
Payment was for 7800 rs.per night because they are charging per person and we booked for two. I have stayed in so many resorts / hotels / homestays but this place is too expensive.

No one to receive
On arrival the gate was closed, after honking also no one came to checkout, I got down and opened the gate and went inside. What a welcome!

No Lunch on arrival
We reached at 3: 00pm and meals were included in the plan so we asked for lunch, Mr. Bharat said, Lunch time is over. Great hospitality! So they could have simply called us before arrival or could prepare food after arrival but they chose to refuse.

Late dinner with complete mess
Mr. Bharat said 8: 30 but dinner was not served before 9: 00 after 3 times follow up. Now the mess, One person comes and says you need to go to the dining area, We went and asked for dinner and another person came and said your dinner will be served in the room.after 5-10 minutes someone came back again and said go to the dining area. We had to ask many things one by one after they were done.like bowls, glass, salt, even dessert.

35 minutes of waiting for a cup of coffee
We asked for coffee 30 minutes back and we are not sure when it will be served. Finally we called again just to check if we can cancel and sleep but now this person woke up and sent it within 2-3 minutes.

Gate locked in the morning
I used to go for a walk so I got ready and reached the gate and it was locked.seriously! I can understand you were concerned about security and lack of staff but if you really put a lock, mentioned us in advance. I could have called Mr. Bharat but I chose not to disturb him but this place really became painful to me.

They changed our room without asking on second day
We had a quick breakfast, the menu was just having two items, no just and code tea and headed for our second day outing, they asked for keys to clean the room. We did n't pack our bags fully but most of the things were in the cupboard so we gave and went. While coming back as usual, we opened their gate ourselves and came into the property and another guy was standing pointed to one room and said this is your room, we were like what, which hotel or homestay does that. Our electrical equipment, clothes including undergarments were taken off from one room to another room without even asking/requesting us. Even after paying such high prices if they had been given an upgraded room without telling us before, no hetel can do this. We wanted to meet Mr. Bharat immediately but he was not in the property and didn't come to meet after hrs. Finally we left with no choices, we had to get a few more things from our first room by troubling other guests but we made up our mind to just say another night and forget.

Dirty pool
We took a cold water shower near the pool and while getting down noticed larvae floating in the water which usually can be seen in a water which is stagnant for many days.

No water in the second room and many things were non-functional.
I came back from the pool and went straight to my room's bathroom. Exhaust fan was not functional which is not terrible but water was not there in shower and it was pathetic. We called Mr. Bharat but I had to come out without shower as I had no intention to shiver anymore. But my hair was so rough until my next bath the next day. Apart from a major water problem, the bathroom door handle was broken, light was not working in the sit out area and we had our dinner in the dark.

Had to call thrice just for an empty Glass
There was no water cattle and other essentials in the room like water, soap, hand towel.everything you had to ask for.but it was heights of ignorance and not sure how busy these guys were that we had to call them thrice just for an empty glass.

I can't stress enough how bad our experiences were but I wanted to share our experience of how our vacation was spoiled.

Rooms, parking, swimming pool are near and clean. And food also good and tastey.

Negative!
food quantity was low it not enought and full fill.
Food preparation was very slow. They will take very time to make there foods for us.
Food quality was 50-50 good-bad. Using same oils for Non-veg and veg foods. Very vey bad thing on food quality.
Organize of something like jeep for travel as worst. Not orginizing properly.

Overall experience 6/10 rating

It truly deserves to be one of the best place to stay in chikmagalur with great food both veg and non-veg and support staff are awesome Bharath and RakshitPool was greatly well maintained.

The homestay is good, the room is nice but there is no food variety, If the pool is well maintained, no matter who the staff is at lunch, the service is bad.

We have stayed here for two days the homestay was very neat and clean. The food was nice and taste is also good. Mr. Bharath was so friendly and helped in booking jeeps for site seeing. Overall we have a very good experience.

Very nice place to stay. Clean rooms with good swimming pool. Food was not so good, they have agreed to make it better. We visited during Aug 1st week 2021.

Stay was good. Very good service. Well maintained. Enjoyed staying here. Very peaceful place.

The stay was good, the staff was really nice and accommodative, until the day were supposed to check-out! They were drunk in the middle of the day and we had left our high quality thermos in a hurry to leave. Called the next day to get it back and they said they don’t have it. We know for sure we left it on the bedside of the room.
Overall a good, cozy place but make sure you aren’t careless to leave your belongings in case they don’t return it back to you.

An average homestay. Had some bad experience with hospitality and food. For a night stay it's fine.
