Loved this place from TAPMI days. Visited this place recently after 6 years and great to see that nothing's changed. Still a fish lovers paradise.

Best place for local cuisine in Manipal. The seafood is fresh and cheap. Amazing food and staffs are very hospitable. Squid chilly is a must try! Don’t go for the Biriyani though

Wow. Best seafood hotel in Manipal which is really worth the money! Majority of fish are available here. One must try Prawns rava fry which is mouthwatering and delicious. One plate big size prawns rava fry includes 9 Prawns which are crispy as well as crunchy and they look like chicken nuggets. Fresh prawns they serve. Everything is fresh here. The price of menu are not costly comparing to other hotels. We ordered 2 fish meals, one Mackerel Tawa fry and one plate Prawns rava fry. It costed us just Rs. 280/- in total, which is really worthy. Best in terms of taste, fresh, cleanliness and the cost. Must try if you are in Manipal. It is nearer to Arbi falls, manipal lake or Hasta shilpa heritage village. If you are visiting those places you can have an awesome lunch here which is just 1 or 2 kms away from those places!

The wide variety of sea food available here is the best thing to have. The crowd is usually more during lunch hours. But the service is quick and good. The place is maintained well and the costs are also economical. Try their fish meals (you get to choose which fish dish you want with it).
For accompaniment you can order chicken or prawn or squid dish (as per availablity). The taste of each dish is great and can be savoured to the fullest.

Food is very good and very clean. Best place to taste Coastal Karnataka food. Banana leaf meal is very good and treditional.

There is no doubt that it is one of the best seafood places in the area. I would definitely recommend you to try their fish curry and rice. It is truly the best fish meal I have ever tasted. The prices are very reasonable, too. You can always ask for more rice or fish curry, and the fish fry was also delicious

The dry chutney is the best I tasted here and can have more then 1 serving of rice with it.

Cleanliness is lacking. Food was really tasty. When we went the waiters were too busy to bring extra.

Squid Fry: Juicy and Crispy squid rings deep fried in konkani masala, are an explosion of flavours in the mouth️.
SurmaiFry: Slices of Mackrel fish covered in a coat of rawa and tangy tasty Konkani masala, and deep fried in coconut oil.

Awesome seafood. One must try crab sukkka (enough for two people) here. Loved the authentic local seafood taste and low price.

Awesome seafood restaurant in Manipal at affordable rates.they serve food in banana leaf, variety of seafood and chicken dishes. No AC, WiFi, TV.decent seating arrangements.

If u are a fish lover and would love to have some good fish for a reasonable rate, this is the place for you.

Seafood are really tasty here, plus they are pretty reasonable but only one thing I didn't like is they add too much of food coloring agent which is not very healthy on long-term basis. I don't know why they would add coloring agent when the food is already good enough.

Good fish meals and sea foods available at a reasonable price.
The taste was good and rava prawns was the best. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and I would like to visit again.

Best Sea food Hotel in Manipal. More than 10 different types of fish are edible. Very delicious. The Hotel is a must visit once a loved one wants a meal.

The best place if you like local style seafood and local style meals comprising rice, fish curry/chicken curry, pickle and prawn chutney. Best items which I liked are silver fish rava fry, and disco tava fry. Occasionally rare fish available but you have to ask the waiter. The chicken curry is spicy, the prawn chutney has too much coconut and very little dried prawns, but rasam is good. Another good thing is we get kori rotti here which is decent. Also other items like paneer chilli, chicken kebab, squid fry are there. An intolerable place for pure vegetarians though.
