We are there in stay but unfortunately no authority of home stay interacted us. Cooking staff it self moving here and there. No Manager i have seen in the home stay and asking about home stay bill when we exit by phone. As a home stay one in house manager should be in neat dress and interact the visitors that makes the sense.

Great place to spend a peaceful vacation. Situated in the middle of estate, surrounding is beautiful. Perfect place for both family and friends, as they can accommodate in separate sections. Bonfire, music, food, games, pool etc etc everything is awesome. Don't believe in negative comments, checkout yourself. Will recommend it.

Not only we were unhappy with the stay, even the other group of guests had problems with owner (or whomever it is) behavior and restriction
We have stayed in different places around Chikmagalur, but we never faced such situation.
Mention those points in stay description, so that customers will know about it in advance. And also this mislead will not happen with other customers. Doing this your management and future customers will not have any issues and spending money on stay worth it!

Very unpleasant stay. We booked the stay for 25 people for a birthday party. The owner comes and says a lot restriction. Asks us to keep our small music box inside our room and doesn’t let us do hookah. Asks us to go inside the room at 10 pm. We come here enjoy not to sleep inside the room. We have got our own homes

Booked a beautiful clean and hygienic stay at Chikmagalur from Tripvgo, best stay with sooper veg food, swimming pool access admist coffee plantation. Discover plantation delight one of the best homestay very close to city and hirekolale lake, I would really recommend everybody to book ur wonderful stay at Discover Plantation chikmagalur, the staffs were really courteous in helping us with all the amenities, there were so many pets, 2 doggies black and jacky who were so playful and would take us for the coffee plantation walk early mornings. Rabbits to play with. Cook aunty who was so kind enough is asking us what to be prepared the next day for breakfast and dinner. Swimming pool access added an extra mark for these. Very close to hirekolale lake. I would really look forward to visit these next time for a fun filled vacation. Would recommend everyone to not have an second thought in booking Discover plantation delight. Mr. KRISHNA Manager was really helpful. Appreciate their kind service.

Bad:
No lunch provided by the inhouse restaurant, we booked via mmt, no where it was mentioned.

We were the only customers staying at the property for a day. They didn't bother to inform us untill 6 in evening that dinner won't be served as for 2 people getting cook is expensive.

The communication was bad from the hotel staff. Very lethargic in nature and careless attitude shown towards us. Even for a night they switched off wifi, only source of network if u r on vodafone.

Good:
the dinner was superb tasty and enough quantity.
Rooms r very big and kept clean.
Not far away from town, hence u can get Zomato service

Dorms are comfortable and clean. Apt for a large group.
Hygienic and tasty homemade food.
Well maintained pool.
Very helpful staff.
Large coffee estate at your disposal for morning/evening walk.
Close to the city but super calm at the same time. Night campfire is the highlight.

I have been to this place for 3 night stay. I'm amazed by scenic beauty and how well the property is being maintained. Thats really awesome.

The food was really delicious specially authentic Malnad menu. I'm impressed with the hospitality specially the staff and owner (Mr. Krishna) personally visiting and asking for the improvement. I have seen the customer-first approach.

Trust, this is perfect destination if you want to enjoy the nature and indepth beauty of Chikmaglur.

This place is very good and it is surrounded by the trees.feels like staying in nature and the services is also very good I felt best place to stay

VERY BAD STAY EVER.we have been traveling and staying over in different places, but this was my worst experience. VERY IRRITATING OWNER with his own set of CRAZY restrictions.our party was ruined because of him.very average food.

One of the most depressing stays I have ever had. I felt like I stayed in a hostel with so many restrictions.party ends at 10 and we are supposed to be inside in our rooms. Premises cannot be used etc etc. Do not here if you want to enjoy your night. Go here only if you want stay within 4 walls

My second stay at this property and excellent service as always. Friendly staff, good food, requests accommodated and comfortable stay with hot running water and amenities. Location is new ans has swimming pool. Good for groups or families. Property is inside a plantation estate with view of hills.

Nice and calm place away from all the noise of the city. Food delivery available. 2 pet dogs to love and play. Nice bonfire arrangements. Clean pool and kitchen available. Good place to click

Very nice place! It was a get together for cousins and we had very nice time, staff hospitality is very good! Management is very good, food is cooked with very good taste!

Great homestay to stay in with family or friends.i went there with my parents, my bro and 3 other families who are like family friends to us.it was my 14th bday the day we went and i had a good experience.especially because of the 2 dogs they had XD.they had many pets in the property even though the dogs were the best, they were pretty playful and friendly, there were fishes, birds, rabbit, hamster and a turkey which were in cage but u cud feed them.we had a bonfire which they took alot of time to set up as the service as slow because of covid-19 there were only 3-4 ppl to help but the bonfire was good, they even had a huge speaker for dj but a swing they had was kinda broken (you could sit on it but was shaking) also the lights were a little less in the down area, there were too many stairs and the worst of all was that the swimming pool was empty (mostly due to covid) the food was good and they would make anything u told them to.we gave them maggi packets and they made that too.places of interests were nearby so the location was good.on the 3rd day my mom went to make some tea in the kitchen as the staff had left cuz they have only 4 cottages and we had taken them all so we told them to leave so we decided to make tea for ourselves but there were many small and huge cockroaches in there kitchen roaming on all the utensils (GROSS) it was a lil unhygenic eventhough the kitchen looked clean.in all it was good especially the german shepeds.:)

Wow what a Deepavali 2020 we just experienced. We had a wonderful stay at this place. And all thanks to the great hospitality shown by Owner & staff too were very polite and soft spoken. And not to forget the tasty food served. Thanks for making our stay more meaningful and memorable.

We stayed for 2 days. Pleasant stay admist plantations and will highly recommend to stay at this place. Owner Krishna is very humble and will help you with any sight seeing tours. Food was delicious. You can ask the staff to prepare food of ur choice and if the cooks are aware your cuisine then surely they will prepare at additional cost. We requested for fish and it was yummy. Very clean and spacious rooms.
Only humble request is for tourists who come here, please do not play loud songs on your Bluetooth speakers or other devices. This is a very quiet place and people playing loud music will disturb others. We had this experience wherein a group of 8 people had come and were disturbing the peace of this place inspite of requesting them to lower the volume of very loud music.

Good and Pleasant recommend stay for family with kids.
Kids will enjoy sure.
Food is very good.
Rooms are big and clean.

Preferred and recommended homestay in Chikmagalur. Very good homestay with tasty food, excellent
hospitality, moreover near to town. Last week, we went with families and booked all the room's.

Excellent Stay. Very well maintained. Best in this price category.calm and quite. Best point, not very far from the town however feels in between jungle.
