Planters is totally run down. Looks horrible and highly dilapidated condition.
Nobody at front desk.

A decent hotel. Not worth the money spent. Although it is located in the main city, the maintenance of the hotel is very bad. No TV or WiFi was available. They kept on saying renovation work was going on hence the options were not available but couldn't find anyone working there.
The only good thing about the hotel is the location. The room service was also very slow. They also have an attached Chinese restaurant which was good.
We had to stay here as most hotels were already booked due to the extended weekend. I won't recommend it.

Sorry to say but I wont Recommend this to anyone, unless if you can adjust there dark room, dirty bedsheets etc. We seriously disappointed drom there room quality. We booked a AC deluxe room, and they gave us one with the locks were damaged, no security (The one in the First floor). Also from that damaged part someone can peek inside. No lights inside the room nor in the bathroom. We asked them to change the room and they gave a new room, but still some of the lights are not working. I think all of there rooms were very dull. They seriously think about the maintenance of the hotel.

Not very well maintained. The rooms are overpriced for the archaic facilities. Room service was lagging. The rooms we got were like those in the 90s movies.
The location is not very close to the main junction and you need to walk 1.5 km. The staff can help you book a cab for the day ride around Chikmagalur.

Pathetic room maintenance full of mosquitoes and the style looks damn old. It needs to be revamped. However staff was courteous. Tariff is also too high.

Stayed there as oyo had a reasonable price for a bunch of our friends to stay.but the property to be upgraded too much to attract the guests to visit again. Being a bachelors we managed there for one night and we had to find another hotel the very next day. There positive points are less which is

1. Reception lady who checked us in allloted rooms knows how to handle the guest and always greets with warm smile.
2. The room boy helped us through the things when had problem with the tv and ac.
3. Price were reasonable.

Cons.

1. We got only one rooms and we had to wait for half an hour for 2nd rooms.
2. The rooms doesnt seems to be same as shown on oyo websites.
3. No amenties in the rooms were kept. Upon requesting one soap was given to each person which was from oyo apart from that not even a basic thing like water was also placed in the room.
4. No intercom facilities were there and we had to go to reception ourselves for everything that is needed.
5. Towels and linens were outdated and smelly.
6. Ac remote was not kept but they gave us later upon asking but still no cooling from the ac. And no batteries in tv remote. And even some switches in the rooms doesnt work.
7. Window sills was full of dust seeing that all of us stayed in one room

Overall pathetic rooms. If you dont want to ruin your stay. Find other hotel.

I booked this thru OYO for Rs. 855/night for 2 ppl with complimentary breakfast.
AC was too low we couldn't feel the cold air, TV wasn't working so they changed our room.
In the second room also TV didn't work, no intercom, u have to call them from ur mobile.
Never take rooms in 2nd floor, can't sleep peacefully. Pegions walk on the roof all night which is creepy at night. I had to get up at 3AM to check if someone is trying to enter the room, too much disturbance on the 2nd floor rooms.
Complimentary breakfast was horrible, only fruits which was given was good.
Funny part is the receptionist asked me to open OYO app while check out n he took my phone n gave 5 star rating for his hotel!
Had dinner at the hotel n food is just ok but priced high.
This is old building needs lot of maintenance.

No proper AC in entire hotel, No cleaned washroom, No cleaned room, Pathetic water condition, waste room service. Nothing is there for a guest. It's just a cot and beddings. I won't recommend anyone to stay here

Oldest hotel with broken tiles in washrooms. Poor infrastructure here. Needs upgradation completely.

Bad! Rooms are OK. Service at it's worst. Absolutely no coordination. Breakfast over by 845am. No clue if anyone is replenishing it. Untidy breakfast area.

Good place to stay, and it's near to ksrtc depo, that is a km away from the bus terminal on the main road and in a good location

Rooms are good.service needs to be improved.after regular reminder got the rooms cleaned.it should have been done by the management without any reminders.

Very poor.no facilities. Cost is very high.rooms not neat and clean.very bad smell.in this days oyo not preferable.please don't go.no hygienic.

I am a avid traveller.this is the first place where i had felt what is irritation.pros and cons are here

*old building with hefty room rents.
*irregular maintenance by management and staffs.
*old roofing where water drops into rooms during rains.
Attitude of the staffs is worse even though being nice with them.

This hotel deserves negetive ratings for creating inconvenience to their customers.anyways i am never gonna visit this place again.

Old Infrastructure, though there are some plants and trees around which can make nature lovers feel good but in hotel you stay in room not on trees. AC and room service was worst I have seen. Also there was a delay in preparing breakfast.

Well, if you are going to stay in CKM, Planters Court is pretty amazing. For the cost, distance from the bus stand and service, you should go for it!

Clean and well maintained property. In house restaurant is good. Food and drinks both are available. Avoid dinner here though because of mosquitos. The usual toiletries are not provided.
Be ready to carry the metal room key around, as they don't have card keys.

I had a very peaceful stay. It's location is apt. The breakfast served was hygienic and tasted well. The only problem is too many mosquito.

This is the worst place to stay. AC is like of stone age. Service ppl are clueless but they can't help much as this place is really old and all the equipments are very old.

Booked through oyo. Inexpensive and good. Non veg bar n restaurant attached to lodging. Free parking available.

Pathetic hotel, poor room service, cold breakfast, non functional ACs, and cockroaches in beds, non-functional cable tv. What else do you need?

Welcome water bottle is actually filled locally in the hotel with aqua guard water in a "AquaFina" bottle. Service is worst in the world.they do not clean your room on subsequent days of staying. AC and TV do not work.

Service was not that good. Any request you make needs to be repeated constantly to get it done.

Do not opt for brkfast in d morning.terrible!

We understand that ur hotel is an old one.atleast you could have changed the towels, bowls etc over these years. May be they are too sentimental on them to change ;).

Okay for a nyt stay for d cost. Oyo lets it for 1200 for weekend.

Worst service, geyser not working, tv not recharged, wifi not working, no toiletries in washroom, breakfast was horrible god knows why the cornflakes had fish smell in it

Worst place to stay. Bathroom are not clean. Lenin and bed sheets are not hygiene. Leakage in bathroom and rooms also.

Just pathetic rooms they stink like drain walls broke no water bedsheets have sperm marks rooms very shabby no lights TV has only 3kannada channels AC doesn't work it's a ghost house even dogs won't prefer to stay building 5000 years old cleanliness zero even no complimentary water in rooms just a huge nightmare OYO cheated us. Not safe for family bachelor drinks and vomiting in corridor and they don't even clean that pictures posted are not true don't go by that
