Potful Biryani, JP Nagar

We had ordered one veg biriyani and one chicken biryani from potful Jp nagar branch today around 8pm.

We instructed them to make little spicy of chicken biryani. We went to collect the biryani (there was 20% on take aways - they said)

The first impression of opening the biryani was utterly disappointing. No flavour, no aroma! The oil they used in the biryani it was smelling something different not sure how to explain my feeling.

Veg biryani fully loaded with veggies (not cooked properly)

We paid 495rs for two biryanis and learnt a lesson not to order from this place again.

We all like biryani for the flavour and aroma. I felt like eating cooked rice with half fried veggies.

Humble suggestion to clay pot - focus on the process, taste, and use quality ingredients specifically oil/ghee.

I value for my money, taste and mood.

Ordered tandoori chicken and mutton galouti through the OL app. Chicken was definitely fresh and well cooked, and i really liked the taste. Mutton Galouti with Paratha was just so-so and needed more cooking. Paratha was just fine. I will rate it 3 as per my overall experience.

Ordered for the first time from this outlet. Looking at the reviews online, I decided to order Lucknowi Chicken Biryani. Arrived after 90 mins, the biryani was piping hot.

What I liked about the Lucknowi Biryani
1. Quantity- It was sufficient for two
2. Aroma was good

What I didn’t like
1. Taste- It was just average, nowhere close to the one served by Koramangala outlet back in 2021
2.3 medium pieces of chicken (No leg piece)
3. Biryani overall was dry
4. It was a bit spicy (they claim it to be mild)

Looking at the price and the taste, I would probably not be ordering again.

Had had ordered through Zomato. One of the item was missed. The branch sent personal delivery person in parallel to Zomato and made it reach at same time. Thanks

Excellent, flavourful and mild taste of biryani. Doesn't feel heavy on the stomach too. Quantity is sufficient for 2 people. The best thing about them is the concept of claypot. It avoids plastic and prevents the food coming in contact with the harmful substances of a plastic container. Great discovery for a quick biryani craving.

I ordered the claypot chicken biriyani from Swiggy. It came piping hot after an hour or so. The blend of spices was just perfect, not too spicy but full of flavor. Kids enjoyed it very much! It's good to see revival of traditional style biriyani which is also great for other small businesses e.g. Clay pot manufacturing. Overall, awesome experience. Great job guys!

Ordered a chicken biriyani it was delivered in about 75 minutes, the taste of biriyani was bland there was no spices, the chicken was half baked and it was very hard, feel the biriyani not worth compare to the price.

Biryani is okay. Not spicy neither flavorful. It would have been better if they add salon. Its just another below average biryani packaged in a pot.

Potful is known for its different type of biryanis served in earthed pots. The pots seal the flavours so they remain intact. They only have a cloud kitchen.

We ordered the Hyderabadi dum biryani and it came pipping hot. The pot are sealed with flour dough which is a bit hard to open. The biryani was hot from inside as well. The rice was flaky. The biryani had beans, potatoes and carrots and the masala was very mild. The biryani is great for people who doesnt like too much masala or spices.

The Lucknowi Biryani is also good. It had beans and carrots as well. The biryanis come with raita which is flavored with roasted cumins.

I have tried veg biryani and Paneer Biryani a couple of times and this is amazing. The best part is whoever has tried this along with me has liked it too. They give raita with biryani. It comes in 2 sizes i.e. Serves for 1 or 2. I suggest ordering a little less as the quantity delivered in the pot is good and can serve for more especially when ordering in a group.

Must Try the food it's yummy n hot. Taste of the Biryani is superb feels to have once more. Note u won't get Potful everywhere.

There was only one Kesar phirni (had ordered 3,) Gulaab jamun was missing from a combo I ordered, and Salan which I ordered extra was missing. That’s a total of 200 odd bucks, nice way to make money I tell ya!

Never ordering from here again!

Awesome taste and authentic biryani. Biryani delivered in claypot was superb, delicious, tasty and hot.

The feedback is not about food. Their website and information is not designed customer friendly. I wrote a feedback through mail. It needs lot of brain storming, but casual and customary call. For instance outlet selection, , paratha shown in the picture, to find menu are cumbersome. Adding to cart is allowed before login, then why not all other information.

Best biryani ever! Must try! There is no other biryani like this in Bangalore.trust me when I say this.i have tasted a lot of biryanis.potfull should also open branches in other areas and maintain the quality. Its worth paying this much for a biryani. No other restaurant has been able to maintain the quality after covid.keep it up!

Quality and quantity wise very good.
Taste is awesome.
But I asked for boneless kolkata biriyani.
They have sent me with bone. That was the only problem I had.

Actually I realy potful biryani bcz of Hot till it reaches home and we ate it. I have tried Hyderabad biryani just awsome

Good quality and taste was awesome.
They used to call and ask for the feedback.
As I was a regular customer, during deepavali
they gifted me two diyas which was unexpected and I was very glad about that.

I had ordered Hyderabad chicken biryani twice till now from this place. It tastes awesome and aromatic. Very neat pot used and good delivery also. I am eager to try all other types of biryani's.

The packaging was just stunning, never seen like this before. It comes in a claypot fresh where the biryani has to be churned, it came with a paneer starter which was great honestly. I would totally recommend this biryani as it’s succulent and comes in good quantity

Potful Biryani was on my list to try since many days!
Got the Biryani delivered from JP Nagar outlet and I was pleased with the way the Earthen pot was sealed and the Biryani which was cooked in it.

I did order Hyderabadi Veg Biryani & It has three layers, the bottom has all the fragrant spices and masala, followed by second layer of fluffy basmati rice. The top is layered with caramelized onions and packed in Earthen pots!

Overall Basmati rice was cooked so well and Biryani was really taste! It wasn't that spicy but definitely I will go with a double masala one.

Looking for more delivery from this place since I had a good experience

Happy with my previous orders, I decided to try out Hyderabadi biryani this time. Potful Biriyanis are cooked in claypot handcrafted by artisans. This concept ensures that each biriyani is cooked fresh and separately. I ordered Murgh Khada masala for starters and a large Hyderabadi biriyani for my family. Murgh Khada masala was too good and juicy. Biriyani came super hot and quality of spices added to the biriyani was good. From aroma to taste everything was so perfect, which is very difficult to find these days, especially when biriyani is ordered online. Overall, like always Potful never disappointed me. Will order soon:)

Excellent quality, tried Kolkata and Lucknow Biriyanis. Biriyanis are prepared and served / delivered in good old clay pots so excellent in hygiene (no poisionous plastics - any educated person know what happens when you heat up plastics, irrespective of it be bpa or bpa free). Only issue, since they make each and every order separately, these Swiggy Uber delivery folks with their targets of completing 108 deliveries everyday get highly reluctant to wait for the food to be ready and start calling to cancel the order or find out innovative ways to cancel themselves. I think the restaurant should start to accept Advance Orders (Swiggy Uber have that option) to tackle this issue.

Very sad that such restaurants di this.but previous evening my husband and me planned and ordered potful hyderabadi chicken biryani through Zomato. We had very high expectations as my husband had paised a lot about them. But shockingly what we received was literally pathetic. They keep pre-packaged pots, and on receiving orders they heat it in microwave and send it to the customers. What we received was a pot that was half filled and had to very very lean pieces of chicken that too stale.very bad to taste. We learned all this from the way they had sealed the pot. Fresh seal opens with a spoon quite easily.but this one had to be beaten and broken apart. I have posted the pictures and the videos as well. People please be aware of it. Very bad #Potful. Extremely upsetting.

Taste is very good. Good packaging. One of the best biriyani in Bangalore. They don't have restaurant. Only cloud kitchen.

New concept of Biryani's- Claypot Biryani, the tarditional way of serving biryani's.

Tried their Murgh khada masala kebab and Hyderbadi Chicken Dum Biryani.

I really enjoyed the taste of the starter Murgh Khada Masala Kebab. It marinated so well that all the spices blended and it tasted yum.

Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani is perfectly cooked in pot with all masalas layered with rice and chicken pieces in it. It’s topped with fried onions and the flavor is so good and can enjoy each and every bite till the end
