I had prefer for one combo through Zomato. That combo was supposed to have one biryani one chicken starter and one coke … but I just received the coke and chicken starter. The main item ie biryani was missing …. This is how responsible the restaurant people are ….

Giving this review only after oredering 10 times from here. Have ordered Hyderbadi, lucknow and kolkata biryani all are different tastes as they should with a nice fragrance not sure why people are comparing to road side or giving bad review as this one of the best biryani available in whitefield and its taste to delicious keep going potful and many more orders from me to come

First and probably last order from this place. The shop is hardly 4kms away from the house, but got the order delivered after 1.45 hours.

If you like your biriyani with more portion of flavored basmati rice and with limited masala then this one is for you. The concept is nice, but when you read these comments regarding the hygiene, I guess they should clean the pot well and pack. The presentation is good as well but not for biriyani lovers. It's just okay. Good for once to experience the concept.and the quantity is for one, don't order one for two because you may feel that it's less.

Very Nice N flavourfull Biryani.cooked to perfection. I had ordered a Chicken Seekh Kabab 30 mins before. It was chewy and below average. Heights of cost optimization.just 10 drops of mint chutney to go with 6 kebabs.order your biryani from potful.they are good at that but never ever kebabs

The most pathetic Biryani that you can ever imagine. Ordered it on Swiggy and paid over Rs 400 after all the discount and including delivery charge. It got delivered in around 45 minute. After putting all the efforts to open the pot all I could find was a kg of boiled rice and three miniature pieces of chicken. No leg pieces. The rice was also plain with no masala, so basically no taste at all. You can actually get much better chicken biryani in road side shops at much lesser price. So decided to never order from them in future. The store had called few days later to get feedback and when i told them how horrible the food was, the guys just disconnected the call, so basically they want all good start ratings and don't care about improving their food quality. Nevertheless, money and time wasted and never gonna repeat the same.

One of the worst briyani I have ever had, costly and worst behaviour of the owner. I ordered one Kolkata and Hyderabadi Briyani which I received only white rice with uncooked chicken. When I called to the restaurant they don't bother to serve the customers. Worst worst super worst.

Today I orderd biryani but the food was so bad taste as if rotten chicken and oil was used. We are vomiting and falling sick.

Quality of biriyani deteriorated compare to 2 months back quality. Have ordered Hyderbad chicken biriyani but hey gave us something different and was watery. Not suggest any more this product.

Biriyani was too dry & in the name of "Kolkata Biriyani" they're fooling people. Super disappointed.

Ala carte wasn't a good choice. Yet Biriyani is great. Rumalli Roti is excellent if you are looking out.

With the increase in price the food quality seems to be detoriating. Last order was delivered with half cooked rice and chicken in a slimy fluid inside the claypot. It tasted more like a Khichdi. Horrible taste!
On complaint we are informed that quality detoriated due to high order volume. So for their incapability, customer suffers. If they cannot handle they should close taking further orders at that instant so that customers go for alternate options.
A complete waste of money on a garbage food.

Ordered two veg biryanis, got one non veg biryani delivered. This is so irresponsible. Will never order anything from here again.

We had Hyderabadi Biryani and Kolkata Biryani. The taste was pretty good, and delivery was on time. Complaint is that the Kolkata style biryani was a bit drier than one would've liked.

Very salty and taste was also average.
This was the second time we ordered, as the first time it was good. Really disappointed this time, not sure we will try again

Worst experience. Ordered through swiggy today, restaurant made us wait for over 2 hours for food and then canceled the order at the end without specifying any reason.

Full marks for advertisement but it seems that entire team is just busy with advertising and not focusing on the product.
The presentation is too good, it comes in a pot and aroma is too good somehow but then the fun stops there. The biriyani is below average in taste. The Raita is just curd with some spices, no onions or salan untill you lay extra. Do you expect us to prepare it at home? Spoils your plans if you have some guests at you home.

Chicken pieces were okay but rice was very sticky and quality was substandard overall. My suggestion would be to stop investing on advertisement and invest on taste and quality.

Hyderabad paneer tikka Biryani was too Good, soft paneer and medium spicy. Perfect Biryani for Biryani lover's

No doubt their biryani is good. But I had ordered chicken ghee roast and they sent left over chunks of chicken. It was tasteless and disappointing.

I placed order around 1'o clock today through Amazon food and it was showing on the way till 2pm but it was cancelled at 2: 20pm. Really pathetic behaviour to cancel after so much delay.

The fragrances of the biriyani is next level I'm very much addicted to mutton boriyani here when I open the lid of the biriyani my room filled with that biriyani smell I liked it a lot. When I hear a biriyani I remember this potful biryani.

Potful Biryani in earthen pot with Dum is one of best biryani available in Bengaluru. The rice and spice quality is very good. I have liked Lucknow's variety more than other options. Price is bit on higher side considering the quantity in the pot.

Galaoti kebabs and Rumali roti? This is perhaps the place in Bangalore. Not to forget the Chicken 65. I am a fan. Not so much of their Biryani which they seem to be promoting. Which is why 4 stars.

I ordered claypot lucknowi chicken biryani through Zomato. The biryani does not had any spice, chicken was not smoky and had no flavour.it was just a mixture of plain rice and boiled chicken pieces

New concept of Biryani's- Claypot Biryani, the traditional way of serving biryani's. Ordered one non veg starter named Murgh khada masala kebab and in main course tried Hyderbadi Chicken Dum Biryani. Completely enjoyed the taste of the food. Chicken is marinated so well that all the spices blended and it tasted yum. Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani is perfectly cooked in pot with all masalas layered with rice and chicken pieces in it and topped with fried onions and the flavor is so good and can enjoy each and every bite till the end One of the most recommended place for all Biryani lover's. #musttry

I had a terrible experience of food from this restaurant.first time I ordered the pot biryani on 1st of Jan for dinner, and it was so smelly how can you deliver such food to eat.do not ruin the food because of excess order.even I complained to restaurant through the call n they delivered another biryani.this gesture was really nice.but please maintain your quality even if you have excess order.hope to order in future and it should not happen again.

Ever since I heard from friends and acquaintances that Potful biryani is making a lot of tasty noise at their homes, the biryani lover in me could barely resist but order in their Hyderabadi chicken Biryani in all its authenticity being named after Emperor Aurangzeb who was appointed Niza-Ul-Mulk as the new ruler of Hyderabad. While most other biryanis are dominated by their flavoured meat, in the layered Hyderabadi biryani, the aromatic saffron flavoured rice is the star of the dish that makes you drool ever since the first bite.
Along with with, I ordered the murgh khada masala tikka kebabs which were super juicy and delicious on their own.
Note that this is a delivery only outlet also their clay pots can be a little tedious and messy to open so you might want to rethink getting it ordered in your office.
However, I love the spontanity of their delivery.

Very much disappointed by the items. No taste in the Biryani. Claypots smelling chemical infused in the food. Now a days it is not required to know how to cook but open a hotel. Name dishes with sentiment and charge tripple. Ruined my afternoon.

Ordered kolkata chicken biriyani. Only good thing was that it was in a pot and was really hot when delivered. There was an absolute lack of flavour. Tasted almost like plain rice. Chicken inside too lacked any taste. Avoid.

This is a delivery only restaurant specialized in Biryanis. The biryani comes in a clay pot which keeps the biryani hot, keeps the flavors intact and looks fancy too.
I tried their Lucknowi Biryani along with Nawabi Tangdi. The Nawabi Tangdi is chicken drumsticks stuffed with minced chicken. It had a nice smoky flavor. Lucknowi biryani tasted good but I expected it to be a bit spicier. The chicken chunks in the biryani were decent in number.

Potful came with an wonderful idea. They are serving it in a clay pot which would be containing the dum and there would be the hotness still after a long time.

I had ordered Hyderabad chicken Biryani which tasted amazing with the layered rice. The chicken leg piece was juicy and fresh.

Pricing is also at a very good place. Compared to the competitors

The pot can be microwaved and can be reused.

When you've heard so much about their biryanis from friends and acquaintances, you do nothing but actually try it out.
They have multiple options in vegetarian and non vegetarian items including starters and even rolls.
I decided to try the lucknowi chicken biryani - it comes in 2 variants where they have serving sizes of 1 and 2 but for someone with a mediocre appetite, the smaller portion is enough for two people. It different from the basic biryanis as it come straight from the Nawabs' claypots and is the soul of every party. It is made from cashewnut paste, saffron, curd, star anise and mace powder that give it an amazing flavour that you could die for. It is not a very strong flavour so you can enjoy your food bite by bite!
I also had the Nawabi tangdi - the usual tangdi kebab with a twist of stuffed mincedmeat on the ballotene side of it. It was really delicious and is always delivered steaming hot!

Doesn't it feel special when people show extra love n care towards you. This special feeling I felt when I received the package from potful. Taken extra care to serve the most yummy Biriyani in a clay pot absolutely stole my heart. That aroma, gravy & the well cooked rice was too yum. I had ordered for hyderbadi chicken biriyani & chicken Tikka. Tikka pieces were soft & tasty. There was a different fun in having the biriyani from a pot specially sent with care & delivered on time. Thank you potful would love to order over and over.

Good Veg biryani options are very few in the city and this place is one of them
Love their packaging a lot gives a feel of the authentic cooking and all the layers are distinct

Potful biryani - ever imagined how a biryani tastes when it’s cooked and served in a earthen clay pot?
Yes it tastes naive and delicious.
On a lazy Sunday evening thought Of ordering some biryani and potful struck my mind.
Alas I’m not disappointed and it turned out to be a great fare.
For me biryani is one such dish I can relish and would love at any point of time.
It is a evergreen classic.
And one dish that needs no introduction it’s aroma and heavenly taste has gathered loads of ardent fans.
It’s one such dish that is most loved not only in India but across the globe.
Recently tried potful biryani @potfulindia and I’m pretty impressed by the quality and perfect taste this one has to offer.

Loved the portion size of biryani and the perfect packing in a clay pot. The rice used is basmati and had right flavour to it meat is cooked well too.

The starters are pretty descent too.

I had ordered chicken korma, it was full watery with 3 chicken pieces floating in it. They charge rs 315 for this poor quality. That too i personally went to buy the food. Dont buy especially from whitefield branch. I regret spending this much for this.

Yet again, my put ful of veg biryani, was craving for it and since I had loved biryani from potful biryani, so ordered it again. I also ordered Lehsuni paneer tikka

Well lehsuni tikka with a nice pickilsh topping and soft paneer, garnishes with salad and served with mint chutney was too good. A must order from them.
 

As again still loved the way they packes it in matka and also sent seeds so that we can reuse the matka to sow the seeds they sent.

When it comes to biryani, again O opened the pot, biryani aroma was all around. Tasted awesome yet again. A 5/5 for taste for the biryani with lots of masala and veggies in it.

Biryani - A national love of any foodie, right! Yes, I love biryani like all of us do.and I am keen to explore spots around the Bangalore which serves delicious biryani varieties. On my such venture, I have found this biryani beauty - PotFul. They are situated in Brookefield, Bengaluru with many outlets around the city too.

Seeing the menu and following my desire I have placed my order to give a shot to Hyderabadi Mix Veg Biryani. I was expecting the delivery to be in a packet or a box, like how others do. But, as my surprise, they served the biryani in a pot itself which is of nearly 15-18cm in height carrying around 700gm of fresh-cooked biryani in it.

They have prepared the food very readily and placed in the pot I believe and the pot got a lid which got sealed as well to keep the food warm till the delivery. Cut to the moment I opened the lid. The aroma of biryani was itself enough to make anyone go crazy. So, when I tasted the first sprinkles of rice along with the masala and pieces of veggies, it was no less than a celebration for me. I mean such a portion of delicious food. That too, they have served along with Panner Tikka which was yummy too.

So I say this to all of you that you should visit this spot as soon as possible, although you can bring up your favourite biryani home as well through Zomato and Swiggy.

However Potful belive authenticity and choice of biryanis did not transcend from one region of India to another. At Potful, they are working towards bridging that gap by having a single platform offerings Biryanis from across the country to our satisfaction. In addition each Biryani is prepared fresh against an order in an earthen claypot & delivered to us in the same claypot, hence delighting us with the most authentic form of Dum Cooked Biryani.

Potful's mantra is multifold, to ensure we get Biryani that delights our senses, is healthy for us to eat, is presented in a environment friendly manner and helps us in giving back to the society. It is a known fact that, food cooked in an earthen pot is the healthiest form of cooking.

I tasted
• Egg Biryani - It was traditionally prepared through Dum cooking process where i enjoyed each & evry bite of the Biryani. Quantity & Quality was really made justice & taste was really good.

• Hyderabadi Panner Tikka - Paneer was bit hard side, but taste was really upto the mark. I suggest to have this when it's hot.

Overall
I really had a good experience with Potful. Something unique & healthy way of eating Biryani.

What a waste of money, spent 2K for Calcutta Mutton Biriyani and it was Kidchri. An native from Kolkata to have 3rd class expensive Biriyani, what a big shame. I thought to have better dinner, but it was massacre. Will never do the mistake to order from Potful again.

Revised review: The cluster manager, Selva called me personally to discuss and understand what went wrong with my 'Potful' experience. Everyone has their bad days. In the aim of being transparent to the Zomato Community, I was offered the same dish again. The manager even came down to offer it to me. This level of customer service is impeccable and impressive.

Let's do a revised review now, shall we?

The fact that the pot is still tough to open is still a downer. But, viewed from a different light, it's also quite an experience:) Make sure you have a table or steady top to do it. The OG biryani was made in a pot, according to my mum, my number 1 source of information. Little additions make the dining experience better.

The basmati rice is flavourful and delicious. It's quite the experience to dig through the rice to find the meat and masala underneath. The chicken is succulent and in ample quantity (My meat eater friends out there might want to add an additional piece for good measure) The raita is just how I like it. The marketing material and color scheme makes it a little more appealing than usual too. Potful covers the outside with "Atta", so this leaves the insides hot, and provides the biryani to cook in it's own juices.

The biryani could be a little spicier, in my opinion. I would also recommend Potful add the option of adding an egg, it would be much appreciated. All in all, a great experience that I would definitely recommend to the OG foodies out there, I mean there's a reason you're reading my review right?

Biryany was very tasty and good qualtiy only thing i dont like is there pots they are very difficult and hard to open

1ST TIME TASTER'S READ TIPS FROM 2ND PARA

That was indeed an unique experience! The heat and flavour within bones was well preserved! Definitely worth the premium. Try to go for mutton as the taste is so much enhanced as we chew bones!

First timers, should handle pot carefully as the bottom of it is hot.

Take a stiff metal spoon. First, remove the egg, then stir thoroughly from bottom as the masala is sticky to pot and concentrated on bottom

After stirring, transfer half pot quality to plate. Entire quantity is bit too much for a single serve plate and also Biryani once dried won't taste that good. Pot will maintain heat for rest half.

I've reduced one star for the consistency of taste and they don't allow take away by directly paying cash at store front. Otherwise, Have some great Briyani time!

P.s. Suggest you make some good use of the pot. The gum they've used to stick lid, will easily come off, when pot is socked in water for an hour

I love the taste of the food which i odder 3 times potful lucknowi biryani, but last time the taste was change, means luckowi masala flavour was too less. If you biryani flavour will constantly same than i will give 10 star.

Yummy taste and experience a new taste of biryani in claypot. The Rice used is Fortune and the best part is smell of tandoor is coming from the biryani.

So its worth to try.
